Lucca never disappoints. My wife and I had a great meal and bottle of wine before a visit to Phipp's Conservatory (a short walk away).
We love Lucca! The food and wine is always excellent and the environment is lovely. Our server, Dustin, was particularly attentive and awesome. Highly recommended!

The white wine was warm, the scallops were overly salty and the eggplant was under cooked. I have previously enjoyed good meals at Lucca. This was not one of them

I feel like every review during Covid times has an asterisk on it… But this one does not need that. The food was absolutely outstanding! The best brussels sprouts I’ve ever had in my life. The filet was perfect and the garlic mashed potatoes and asparagus for an awesome compliment. Service was excellent and gave a great wine recommendation.
We had an impromptu Engagement Celebration for a friend from Texas at this restaurant. I ordered the cheese ravioli and started with Italian Wedding Soup. I always like it when use Orzo noodles in soups, my grandmother always did it and they happen to do that here. The soup was hearty and lightly salted. The raviolis were perfectly cooked and delicious. Our server was able to recommend a nice red Italian wine for the table and we had a really great experience.
We had a wonderful time at Lucca and would definitely return when in Pittsburgh!

Very disappointing! Have been several times in the past, but appetizers were good but entrees were very tasteless . Maybe I will try again but don’t know.

Long time Pittsburghers, but first time at Lucca for whatever reason. We dine out fairly frequently, and will definitely keep this as an option for future dinners out!

Friendly staff, attentive enough - I guess okay for trying to run a proper restaurant during covid. Food looked great on the plate but was a little off ie meat temp and seasoning. Could be a great Italian place if it was operating at full power. I will definitely try again
Luca provided friendly and helpful service and the food was delicious. The social distancing felt very safe as well. I would highly recommend!
Very disappointed-not sure what happened but the pasta meals were not as good as they usually are the quality was way off from every other time I have been there. We didn’t even take or eat any leftover. The appetizer and salad were decent but the meals especially for the price were not as good as usual.

My son enjoyed his meatball app and chicken fettuccine entree. My Italian wedding soup was good but the bolognese was not that good. Not much meat mostly tomato sauce that tasted too sweet. The cannoli was extremely disappointing the shell was nice and crispy but filling was literally chocolate cake icing. No Italian restaurant would serve icing filling.
We visited our daughter in Pittsburg this weekend and had a wonderful dinner. we sat out on the front porch which was pretty and quaint. only a few tables. overlooked the neighborhood and had pretty lights hung up. Food was delicious. All four of us loved our meal. Our waiter Dustin was the best. he gave great suggestions, was very personable and easy to chat with. He made our already wonderful meal more enjoyable with his personality and helpful tips of what to eat and what to do in town. Highly reccomend.

Excellent homemade pasta!
Once again, my husband and I shared a delicious dinner at Lucca Ristorante. We had the filet- seasoned and grilled to perfection! We had the Limincello cheesecake for dessert, and it was fabulous- all desserts are made in house!!
Lucca has become our favorite restaurant, and eating on the patio is a dream... Our waiter was a delight as well. I cannot say enough good things about this wonderful place!!
