Our first night in Boston and wanted to check off having A) good Italian and B) lobster. This was the perfect choice for Italian! Wonderful friendly staff, especially the Sommelier. I had a wonderful pasta dish and my husband had scallops, that were served on a strange bed of greens and pasta.
Overall an enjoyable meal.
Wonderful restaurant willing to accommodate a diner with some dietary restrictions. Real home cooking with a professional presentation. Highly knowledgeable staff able to make informed recommendations. Great atmosphere and ever attentive servers.
Looking for authentic little Italy restaurant and this place was amazing. It was everything I was hoping for. Highly recommend!!!
Lucca is one of the best restaurants in the North End, if not the best.
Great service, food, decor, etc etc.
You will always get a great meal. One of my favorites is the calamari and sauce. It is not fried calamari …but it is outstanding.
My main course go-to is:
HOUSE-MADE GARGANELLI, WILD BOAR RAGOUT, ROASTED RED AND YELLOW PEPPER AGRODOLCE, GRANA PADANO
Simply the best ….
Katie at the bar was/is amazing. Personality and commitment to Service is clearly a priority for her and this establishment. With many excellent choices around This restaurant, Service like Katie's sets them apart from the competition. This is now a favorite spot of The Happy Hour Social Club! #TheHappyHoursc
Service was superb . All our food delish and desserts yummy
We had reservation and had no wait .
Fun evening Nd well worth it
It was perfect !!! We had a window table ! It was our first time back into Boston since the predemic! Dinner was fabulous
Great food and service, just a little too expensive for me. Definitely worth a special night out!
First time, will not be the last time ! Everything was better than expected !
Great place. Fantastic food.
Well thought out & executed modern Italian menu. Pasta came in good portions and salad was well dressed & innovative.
The service was impeccable! Delicious pasta, ragout, gelato and very impressive wine list.
Great location. Great service. Minimal choices on menu. Food was good but nothing to bring me back for seconds.
We had our birthday dinner here - I told the waiter it was my fiancé’s birthday and he brought us tiramisu with a candle for dessert. We ended up getting charged for it - if I had known we would get charged for it I would have ordered something specific.
Food was delicious!
Enjoyed an amazing dinner here. I had the cod loin wrapped in prosciutto - it was delicious! Our table also ordered the special side dish of corn
Wonderful dinner, food cooked to perfection.
We had a lovely spot dining by open windows
Amazing food and service ....I truly enjoyed this place ....1st timer.but I will definitely be back
We loved literally everything about our visit last night. The wine was totally awesome and well priced, a 2017 California Zinfandel called Saldo by Prisoner Wine Co. The mozzarella bread (get it with the marinara) was to die for. Loved the light Verde salad, had the Lobster Fra Diabalo which was the best ever and worth the splurge. The garganelle pasta with wild boar was insanely good. Our server was incredibly lovely and so efficient and the front of the house people were so warm and welcoming it felt great to give them our business. Cannot wait to return. Molto Bene, Grazia!
We had calamari and cheese for appetizers. The calamari is not fried, which I liked very much, in a spicy tomato sauce... excellent!
I had lamb chops for main course, very generous portions, I could not finish, the meat was very tender, thumbs up again.
My wife had scallops (her favorite) but we forgot to mention when ordering that she is on a low sodium diet, so that wasn't a perfect experience for her. They tend to cook the scallops with a lot more salt than I do at home.
This being said, the place is always crowded and vibrant, but we had absolutely no complaint about the service. Definitely a place to go back to!
Very mediocre food
Superb dining experience! Lovely, relaxed ambience. Wonderful service. I had the pork with broccoli and root veggies. The pork was cooked to perfection. My friend had the shrimp over linguini with the most sumptuously delicious sauce flavor. Could have just had the sauce in a bowl it was so good!! All portions were generous to the point that we brought much home. Dessert was the flourless chocolate torte. Sinfully delicious with pistachio ice cream, raspberry coulis and assorted berries. Will return often and can highly recommend!!
I had fun & the meatballs were delicious
Every aspect of the dining experience was five star
Bricco is consistently excellent!
Food was amazing. Atmosphere was lively as all in The North End. Treated us like family. Muhammad was our server and he was fantastic.
Great Food, great people!
Long-standing favorite restaurant. We try to stop by whenever we’re in Boston. Last night didn’t disappoint. Perfectly prepared fish and a ravioli dish that was packed full of unexpected flavors (in a good way.) All in all a terrific evening. One warning, Uber, don’t drive. Parking is hard to find.
Food was okay but not exceptional. Service was good.
Birthday celebration outside seating
The food was absolutely delicious and the pacing was good. We didn't feel rushed even though the restaurant was very busy that night. We were celebrating our anniversary and the server brought us a complimentary dessert. We appreciated the gesture.
Great place , would recommend .
Disappointing. Pasta was good, salad was mediocre. Appetizer of cherry peppers was waaaaaaaay too spicy hot. Service was poor. Not many diners when we arrived and service was slow during our meal. Music was downright awful. What should be a nice dining experience with relaxing music was spoiled by some kind of obnoxious "club music" that you might find and a dance club.
Outstanding as usual. 1st time back since COVID. It was great to be back. North End was very active. Food and service were excellent.
Dinner for one @ midnight was excellent! Thanks for the amazing service Billy.
We really enjoyed our visit !! From the first time walking in the door, the hospitality was wonderful. The people were genuinely kind and welcoming. Our server was attentive and great at giving suggestions. The food through — wow !! What can I say — it was just phenomenal !!! Everything was absolutely delicious — We had an incredible chicken dish, a fantastic ravioli dish —we had 4 delicious dinners and everyone was very happy . Highly recommend this venue , and we will return. Thanks
First time here, it was great! Food was delicious and the server was great!
We loved Lucca. The food was delicious. Our waitress was attentive and friendly. When the windows are open the hustle and bustle of Hanover street makes for great ambiance.
Delicious food, cozy atmosphere snd wonderful service!
