Lucas Park Grille
The food was so good, I came back the next day for happy hour. The Brussels sprouts with grits, avocado toast with smoked salmon and the halibut were outstanding. The caramel ice cream and whiskey sour sorbet were hits as well. If there hadn’t been a fruit fly in my companion’s salad, I would have given 5 stars.
It was a good experience. We were pleased. It was slow, but we had plenty of time so that wasn’t an issue for us.
Great healthy eating options in an urban setting. Excellent service too.
We were looking for a place to eat away from our hotel, but a good value, and good eats.
We were not disappointed. The happy hour specials were very good and everyone was happy with their dinners.
The wait staff was amazing and Bella was very attentive and sweet.
Yes I would recommend it to someone looking for a easy meal, good value, and not your everyday bar food!
Food was spotty. Some very good some bad. Seat had condensation from air conditioning tube dripping on it
Great find in St Louis!
We spent the night near the arch, wanted better than average dining within strolling distance. Hit the jackpot here! Scallops: pronounced best possibly ever. Duck: right up there too. Service was low key and friendly. Prices more than fair.
Had the lunch special which was excellent. Great service and neat ambience!
We went for Mother’s day brunch. They were extremely accommodating for us being a few minutes late. The food was amazing, extra props to the omelet station. Our server was so sweet, she was the cherry on top of a great experience!
Waiter was very pleasant. Food was excellent. The big problem I had was that we weren’t done with our appetizers and our salads showed up. We were halfway through our salads and our entrees showed up. Very rushed, very disconcerting especially based on the prices that were charged. Felt we were getting the bums rush to get out of there.
This was a return visit for another fabulous meal. This time had the house salad followed by perfectly prepared Halibut. Would definitely return.
Amazing food! Very knowledgeable about gluten free options! Super friendly staff. We will definitely be back!
Great food and great service
The menu was inventive, and the food was delicious! The scallops were large and tender, and juicy--some of the best I have had! The cocktails were delicious as well. Our server was very attentive, and made excellent menu suggestions. We had concert tickets afterwards, and he made sure that we were out in a timely fashion!
Food was nothing to speak of, okay but not delicious especially for cost. We made reservations and once we arrived and were being seated we were told they were shampooing carpets that night and really shouldn’t have sat us there. We felt a little rushed due to that. It was a Friday night, probably should choose a non-weekend night for carpet shampooing.
We went for Easter brunch. The food was cold and not very good. We brought family and friends with us and I was embarrassed. The dessert bar looked like someone went to Sam’s Club and picked them up. Service was terrible. Overall not a good choice.
Food isn’t worth the money. And they charged a 20% gratuity without warning.
Absolutely wonderful food and wonderful atmosphere. The food was so fresh and so delicious. It tasted like something your mother made! We will definitely be back!
Great food and service- we needed a phone charger, and they even accommodated that, too! The short ribs were amazing, and the scallops were divine. Would go there again. And again.
Food was great. Service was equally great. If we return to St Louis this will be on our list of of must eats.
First time at this awesome restaurant. The service was impeccable. The food was delicious. The ambience was relaxing. We are from Chattanooga and WILL BE BACK!!!
All five of us enjoyed our meals. My chopped salad with grilled chicken was the best I have ever had. Wonderful service and I look forward to go back for dinner.
Great food! Great service.
The food was exceptional. The waiter was good even though he forgot 1 of my sides. I thought the meal for 4 people was overpriced! ($280.00) Our steaks were cooked to our liking, but was lacking flavor.
Great time and great service at Lucas Park Grille. Had a group of 8 and food and service were appreciated by all. Wine kept flowing and dessert was excellent too. Will be back...
My husband and i were traveling to St. Louis to visit our SLU student son. We’ve been on a clean eating program, and wanted to find a great restaurant that could meet our needs. This was a great find! We each had a different kale based salad. I know- doesn’t sound enticing; not the kinds of things we used to order- but they were excellent. Ordered tea and got an array of options plus extra hot water without asking. We plan to come back every time we are in town.
The food was great. Service was awesome. I recommend to all friends.
The service, food and other staff were great which made the whole dining experience amazing.
Hadn’t been in quite some time, and happy to say it’s still a great place to go! Some say it’s a bit pricey, but the overall experience and atmosphere make it well worth it!
Staff was very courteous. Food was delicious, unique but not overwhelming or pretentious. Will come back when we’re in St Louis.
Great location. Delicious tastes. Comfortable atmosphere. This place is perfect for a date night, other celebration, or night on the town! It has definitely made my list of favorites in St. Louis!
We had the most amazing evening at Lucas Park! Very neat and attractive building and decor, very welcoming and attentive at the door, the service was great, we asked for a quiet table to celebrate valentines a little early (eve of Mardi Gras ha!). I had to try the house salad, it’s one of my favorite kind, it was delicious! Loved it! My husband had their crab cakes and was pleasantly surprised at the unique fusion flavor. I had the filet with port wine reduction, it was very good, cooked exactly as requested, sides we also very good. My husband had ribeye and he was equally as pleased. Our server was a pro, they checked on us, took good care while giving us quiet time we wanted. Really can’t say enough nice things. Must try if you haven’t been!
Great service & delicious food. Highly recommend the short rib.
On a busy Saturday night, we went for a pre-show bite to eat. I want to thank everyone from the manager who nicely sat us in a quiet corner to the waiter who was attentive and got us our meals quickly. We had enough time to enough our food and still make the show with plenty of time. I never knew LPG had a quieter back room and was thankful to be seated there! Great service and good food... as season ticket holders, we will be back again. Thank you for a nice dining experience.
The food was very good. The rest of the restaurant seemed pretty loud. There were number of large parties and a variety of seating styles - hi-tops, regular tables, booths. My only complaint is that we had a reservation and yet we were originally seated directly in front of the kitchen door (why do they even have a table there?!). We asked to move, and we were seated one table over - better. But we were in a dark corner with three other tables. The others were both empty for most of the night. Three different parties turned down the same table. It was fine, but we just felt like we were off in some forgotten leper colony. It was quiet, which was nice and the manager was super nice. He stopped by to check on us and offered us a free dessert (we never said anything about the table.)
Lucas Park grill never disappoints. This was my 5th visit with friends and everything was on point. Great service, venue and food!
Awesome Place. Good food and good service, had great options
Service was excellent, food very well cooked and flavorful.
This was disappointing from the door to desert. Not a disaster, but disappointing. Host staff was disorganized and not welcoming. Server stepped in and got us to our table.
First disappointment was completely different menu than posted online at Open Table. Almost a completely different concept. Several inviting vegetarian options online: zero on menu. We had a superfood salad and a modified Scallop pasta with no bacon. Salad was good, Scallops were way too salty, and not very good. Nutella crunch bar desert was difficult to eat (frozen?) And the white chocolate "mousse" was chalky and bland.
Service was good, but we had to grin and bear it when asked how things were tasting, etc.
The glass of wine was very good and the extensive wine list is worth noting for oenophiles.
Food was cold. Service was very slow. I watched a bouncer remove an unresponsive girl who had been drinking outside the door in the cold. I was concerned about her health, but this restaurant was only concerned about their liability. Shameful. I will never return.
Ladies night including a show at the Fox Theater, so we were all dressed up and felt Lucas Park was the perfect place for dinner. The food was amazing and the service matched! It was a little pricey, but worth every penny!
