Lucas Park Grille
Food was incredible. They had a party going on in the back and then pretty much no one else in the restaurant (only a few tables). Our server took our order, brought my salad and then we didn't see him for the rest of the meal until it was time for the check. Never came to fill our water glasses until the end and my dirty salad plate sat on the table for the whole dinner. For this caliber of restaurant that is really a low level of service. Overall it was good but the service needs to come up a notch given the price point.
We dined at 5 pm so there was not very many other patrons in the restaurant. The atmosphere was nice and are meal was served very nicely and each of us enjoyed it. The only downfall was my drink, tangeruay and tonic, which was not very tasty. I am not sure if they used tangeruay or another gin, but I did not ask, I just nursed it. I would still go back, but next time I would question this.
This is a restaurant for both the young and young at heart. The bar area has a great vibe for those who want to enjoy music and drinks in a fun place. We ate in the dining room, which had a lovely ambiance with just the right lighting, good music, and a beautiful fireplace. Our steaks were superb, and our service was friendly and efficient. We loved the whole experience so much, we had our Airb&b host add it to his recommendations. We will return the next time we visit St. Louis.
We sat in the “fine dining” section of the restaurant. Very quiet, perfect for our small family get-together.
Food was really good. Pork chop, short ribs, beef tenderloin and rib-eye all done to perfection.
Cocktails and wine very good.
Our server had a slightly annoying habit of appearing and then disappearing before we were quite done with him. But, overall service was good.
Crowd was sparse on a Saturday night. We’re from another city. I’m told downtown St. Louis is pretty dead. We found this to be true.
The service was very slow. We were seated at 7 and didn't have our meal until 8:20. The staff was not very friendly or helpful. Once the food arrived, it was very good, but the slow and unfriendly service made the overall experience disappointing.
Great dinner on a Friday night - food service ambiance excellent! And an easy drive to the Enterprise Center for the Michael Buble’ concert!
Had never been here before but would definitely go back the food was fabulous. Good location to us make it to see Michael Bublé and have plenty of time for dinner and Uber
Great food at good prices with mediocre cocktails. I would return and order a different drink.
The beef short rib and the duck entrees were simply delicious!
Restaurant ambiance of Led Zeppelin and other music blasting overhead doesn't fit with the menu or decor. Probably why there were only a handful of people dining in the restaurant.
The waitress was nice but did not check on drinks that often I ordered coffee and after finishing first cup i waited a long time to get coffee cup refilled I had to motion to the waitress, before i got a refill. other than that the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was wonderful.
Always enjoy our dinners at LPG. They were friendly, attentive and have good food. The gooey butter dessert is amazing. Will be back again!
Good was great, service was a bit slow. Server did as well as he could but could tell that they were understaffed.
The food is delicious but a bit pricey. Felt the steak dinner should include a side vegetable. Valet parking at $8 plus tip is an extra cost. We tried the onion rings and I would not get those again.
Nice bar area and it has smaller, cozy side areas. One had a fireplace. Nice outside area with a fire pit Service was very good. Cocktails were good too, we had a couple martinis, good volume. The bread was warm and seasoned, the butter was also seasoned. Good place.
Unique menu, excellent service, eligant table settings and very tasty food. Highly recommend.
We enjoyed a very nice meal at this restaurant. Although not an expansive menu there was sufficient variety. The dishes (short rib beef bourgoune and my wife made a meal of appetizers) were well prepared. Excellent team service. The wine list is very good and had a number of what I believe were value priced wines - for example a Justin meritage at $90 a Frank Family Cab at $80 (which is less than twice the retail rate - restaurant must have gotten a great distributor rate).
My husband and I really liked Lucas Park Grille. We had the Brussels sprouts appetizer, he had a rib eye steak and I had the halibut. Everything was fantastic (including the warm bread with honey/herb butter!) Portions were big so we shared the salted caramel cheesecake for dessert. It was also great. The only reason I did not give a 5 star rating is that some of the furniture needs to be replaced or recovered as the chair seat covers were very worn.
Waiter was exceptional, good wine list and great food. I’d come back here
First time eating at Lucas Park Grille and we were really enjoyed are dinner. The food was wonderful and the service was exceptional. We most certainly will return and recommend to others.
I always enjoy coming to Lucas Park Grille. The customer service from the wait staff is excellent, the servers are knowledgeable, and the food is always cooked to perfection.
Food was great, nice setting. The waiter submitted a wrong order as well as mixed up tickets, making this a four star rating rather than 5.
Pan seared scallops were very good. The potato gnocchi with lobster butter was tasty.
Support downtown. Short Ribs and Tenderloin were terrific. This place will not disappoint.
Great experience at Lucas Park Grille. It had been several years since I’d been and the food was wonderful. Everyone enjoyed their meal and were talking about it at work the next day.
This place has it all: a beautiful venue, with roaring fireplaces, high ceilings, and lovely decor; a menu varied enough to please all palates; cocktails that are inventive and creative; food that is cooked to perfection, and served up in a manner to please the eyes as well as the taste buds; and fantastic service that is attentive, but not intrusive. We went pre-theater, and this early, the background noise was virtually undetectable; I don't know how loud it gets at the peak of dinner hour. I got the rib-eye steak, which was cooked just to my liking, and enhanced with cognac butter--delicious! My partner got fish, which was equally well prepared. We loved every aspect of this place, and will certainly return.
After Symphony dinner with friends to bring in Christmas Season. Great ambience quiet enough to enjoy conversations. Food excellent, service unobtrusive but helpful with wine selection and menu. Great all around enjoyable dinner. Have been several times. Not disappointed ever. Fantastic wine list.
We were 5 women having an early dinner before the Bob Seger concert. Looked for a place with a varied menu that was a quick uber ride to and from Enterprise center. The happy hour small bites and plates menu was awesome and half price at happy hour. Food was ver good as was the service. Will definitely be back.
I always have the house salad with salmon on it. It's delicious. Dustin is a great waiter. This is the best lunch place downtown.
Loved it!!! Food was EXCELLENT!!! Atmosphere was great too!!!!
The pot roast made me feel like I was at grandma's kitchen!
Great birthday dinner. Food was amazing. Staff was great. Setting was cozy.
Great ambiance. We’ve always had fantastic service and meals. They also offer some great happy hour specials.
Great food and fast service. Really enjoyed the pork chop and salmon and flatbread
My husband I went here before an event downtown. The menu was not very big. I had the salmon which was phenomenal and my husband had the steak, but the sides were not very impressive. He ended up having an expensive steak and french fries. That was a little disappointing for the amount of money we spent. Nice atmosphere, just be prepared to spend quite a bit especially when you throw in some drinks!
Once again, Lucas Park Grille didn’t disappoint. Food was outstanding and our server was fantastic. The scallops were amazing!!!!!
The Scallops were the best I’ve ever had! Beautiful ambiance too.
Rich was great, very helpful in our wine and dining selection. The food was great with the exception of the weird cheese on the charcuterie plate.
My husband and I were attending a show in the Lou Friday evening and wanted a light dinner and a few drinks beforehand. We chose Lucas Park Grill due to its close proximity to the Enterprise Center. They had a wonderful appetizer menu with light bites that fit the bill perfectly. Even better, it was happy hour so some of the items were 1/2 off! Ordered a cosmo martini and it was really good. We will be back for sure.
Food was excellent! I had the lunch prix fixe and it was great
