LucaBella at The Walker House
This is my second time visiting this restaurant. I came back because I like the food and ambiance and waitress was very nice. Next time I will visit the Museum too.
Love this place! Have never had a bad meal for either lunch or dinner. Servers are personable & attentive. -always great! One of my favorite placed to celebrate birthdays!
Elegant, quiet, great service. It is a beautiful historic place
Love Luca Bella at the Walker House! Quiet comfortable environment and always fresh food!
I made reservations online and took a friend for her birthday. What a wonderful surprise and pleasure to be greeted so warmly by Colleen, a long-time friend, who gave us a small private room, great service, and lots of attention. The food was beautifully prepared and presented; the sea bass and steak melted in our mouths. Desserts were very good, but not up to the quality or uniqueness of the meal. All-in-all, a fabulous evening.
We were celebrating my sister’s 20th wedding anniversary. This place had excellent food and service. I highly recommend.
Rachel helped us out with gluten free dining. Front porch dining is the best!
Wait staff most accommodating to our particular needs.
Our order was t quite right but in all fairness we never told them, so that’s on us! I love the ambiance!
They are willing to accommodate my gluten allergy and I so appreciate this’d!
Great food and they were able to deal with my gluten free requests. See if you can get Jennifer as your waiter. She is special.
Jennifer was a out standing Server! She was on top of everything.
Great date place. Great food and quiet. Went for my anniversary and had a wonderful time. The rib-eye is terrific, but ask for extra bleu cheese.
So nice to find an "old school" classy restaurant with tablecloths, terrific food and service -- without deafening music and loud tables. Definitely a date night destination -- we drove from Pasadena -- and it was well worth it.
Ambiance and food is excellent! They need to work on their service.
The ambiance is lively and historically interesting. Go on a Friday or Saturday night when the historical society is open.
Food was good, not great. French fries were excellent. Soup was just above room temperature. Burger - good quality. Salad - tomatoes tasted old, and I thought the dressing was too sweet.
Service was fair. Waitress very pleasant, but not super attentive. When we asked for the bill, she brought it fairly quickly, but didn’t come back to our table to pick it up so we could get to our movie.
Definitely will return - more for the setting than the meal, but taken as the total package, it was well worth the cost of admission. ... so to speak.
Amazing experience can't wait to go again! Book your visit soon
This is simply my favorite upscale restaurant to visit. I came here to celebrate my birthday along with my neighbor's and we had the small private room off of the main dining room. Our server Kayla was outstanding in every way and the food was prepared perfectly. Just a tip: If you are attending dinner or lunch with someone who is hard of hearing the private little rooms are so much better than the main dining room. Just a lovely lunch!
First time here. Everything was great. I will be back soon.
The services Colleen ( older female, gray hair) Rude!! Would not look at the one person in our party, she ignored her. She ordered dessert, no one else did! The server brought four forks, and the lady who ordered the dessert received the last fork! Not to mention the server put the dessert in the center of the table!
We will never return, due to Colleen our server!!!!
This lady is a culinary chief from San Francisco culinary arts, &?a pastry chief! Your server shunt her, every chance she got!
Personal friend of Wolfgang puck!
Lovely Victorian house setting, quiet venue as tables are not jammed together. Service and food was impeccable
Good seafood But could have a few more options of salads. Nice quite venue. Service was sweet.
Lovely and elegant lunch. Food was perfect. A go-to special occasion spot.
Excellent service - Jenny was our server. Great food as always.
Loved our dinner - everyone raved about how good the food was! They did not rush us - we wanted time to talk & although our waiter was attentive, she did not “rush” us!
A wonderful meal in a quaint setting. We love this place!
Great food, good service, decent location, unusual ambiance.
This place is a hidden gem. Everything was outstanding. Kid friendly. Casual dress attire.
The food and service were excellent. The venue is a historic hotel in San Dimas which is quite picturesque. The main dining room was very noisy due to a large party who were all talking loudly. Fortunately our server moved us to a private room (she offered without us having to ask) and that was what made our meal memorable. We’ll be back!
Great food as always! Exceptional service. Sounds like they are having upcoming events there like a wine tasting on the patio. Count me in!
Service was sparse and inattentive. They seemed distracted and annoyed by our presence. This was for my wife's birthday and, although she enjoyed the food (as usual), the poor service soured the event for her.
Absolutely fabulous food and service. Quiet and clean. Perfect for date night.
The manager there was serving all tables by herself. Very efficient and professional. Everyone in the restaurant was happy. Great food as always. Great service by all.
Just a quick dinner together. Small salad and glass of wine. Exceptional service as always. Great food. Wish this place was open more often. I’d be here all the time.
The restaurant far exceeded our expectations! We dined with a guest we hadn't seen in years, and we were encouraged to take our time and enjoy each course. And each course was incredibly delicious and beautifully presented and served. How absolutely wonderful to enjoy an evening with such professional and kind service. We are so looking forward to our return!!
Had a private room for the six of us. Service was good and we ordered a lot of the new menu items. It was a wonderful night.
Greeted and seated right away by our favorite server Jennifer. Clean and crisp white tablecloths. Fine wine. Tried new dish tonight and was not disappointed. Food prepared here is great. But the service is why we come back.
I went the Saturday before Mother’s Day with my wife. The seating outside was great. Very quiet and nice. My wife ordered an entree salad with extra nuts add a chicken breast. The salad was the size of a side salad with 4 pecan halves and they forgot the chicken. When reminded, the chicken was brought out. It was cooked so long it was dry and uneatable. We asked to have it removed from the bill which they did. Overall, the food was so poor it was as if it’s been cooked at the Glendora location and brought over in a cooler to be reheated the next day. We love the Glendora location. If you’re in the mood for LucaBella, go there! San Dimas is a very poor copy.
The server was excellent!!!
place was beautiful and the food was great.
definitely going again.
We had a delightful dining experience. Being the old soul that I am, i loved the ambiance. Our server was very gracious and helpful as this was our first time. My husband and I split the pear, bleu cheese and glazed walnuts and a steak dinner. It was very nicely presented. Next time we will order our steak medium rare, rather than medium. We plan to return for a special occasion with other family members and book one of the private rooms. We enjoyed the upstairs museum and found a couple of cookbooks to add to my collection. The history of the area and of the mansion was very interesting. The timing was great, right after dinner (open 7-9 pm). This was on a Saturday night. We loved the entire experience.
