We had a great dinner for my day party. It was 8 of us nd everyone loved their Mel and deserts. Can't wait for the summer to enjoy the patio!

This place doesn’t seem to realize there is a pandemic. The restaurant was so packed that the windows were fogged up. The bathrooms didn’t have paper towels- only hand dryers. There were people everywhere. No social
Distancing. Not a mask in sight besides the employees.
That being said, the food and service were impeccable as usual. I’ll just be waiting until COVID is more under control to visit again.

We visited this restaurant because our son is named “Luka”. He is 6 and he was excited to go to a restaurant that had the same name name (even though spelled differently).
Anyhow, WOW, the food was just fabulous!! The service was sensational. And we found the price to be both fair and affordable. We will definitely be back!!

It was my boyfriends birthday and Donald took care of us very well. He was very accommodating, sweet and knew what he was talking about. Thank you Luca for always making sure your guest have a good time and experience when dining in.

First, I requested a table with a view as the restaurant is know to have spectacular downtown views. Our table was seated right next to the kitchen door. All I saw were wait staff coming and going and red bins filled with dirty glasses on their way to the washer. Maybe I should have specified what type of view I wanted but I mean really? Nobody should have this view! They should close this table permanently. It was the only one in the house and we get it. So much for impressing my date. Onto the food. The buffalo mozzarella was outstanding. I could come here every day for this alone. Worth every cent! My date got the chicken and said it was “very good”. I didn’t try it. I got the veal osso bucco. I have made osso bucco before so I know they key to making it tender. This was undercooked. Don’t get me wrong, it was cooked. It just wasn’t cooked long enough. Low and slow for a long time gets the job done. I think they rushed this. It was chewy. Sure, it fell apart nicely, but I chewed and chewed and that veal was going nowhere so I had to swallow it whole. Osso bucco is known to be melt in your mouth tender. It is when I make it. Not when Luca makes it. Epic fail on their part with that dish. Service wasn’t rushed, which was nice, although the drinks took a very long time to arrive after ordering. It was someone’s birthday in the restaurant and someone announced it and it was accompanied by a group song. This is not the type of place for that display. It’s not Chi Chi’s. Kindly refrain from this. The buffalo mozzarella saved the night, although I will never get over that view.

Everything was on point

It was a wonderful experience, the staff was very kind and attentive. The food was incredible and we did not feel rushed! Overall it was perfect

We had a reservation for 8:45 and were not seated until 9:35. Then we were told the kitchen was closing and had to quickly order our food and eat. We were also told by the waiter that we did not have a lot of time to finish eating and to finish our drinks. Then they were going to provide us with a “complimentary” bottle of wine when no one was drinking wine. We had to tell the waiter three separate times to not open the bottle because we were not going to drink it. Ridiculous to spend that amount of money for that level of service. We were rushed the entire time we were there. It was obvious that they were overbooked. Overall horrible and extremely disappointing experience.

While the food was good, I was very disappointed in the attention given to making sure that patrons wore their masks at all times when not a their tables. I had more than a half a dozen people pass by my table with either their masks down or not wearing them at all going back and forth to the bathroom or even just entering the dining space. This is not acceptable! Just because they wear their mask when they come in the front door does not mean they are abiding by the laws throughout the evening. I brought it up to the manager, who basically made very little of it. I was initially happy to see they had their outdoor covered area open and heated and thought we could have another dining option, but doesn't seem like that is going to be safe!

If you're after a filet mignon, this was done to perfection and was delivered hot off the grill - it wasn't sitting around. Great wine selection and dessert too.

Food was okay. The one dish we ordered with the duck, wild boar, and beef tips was grounded together. We thought it was be separated with pasta. Idk, to me, grounded meat is grounded meat, could have served me ground beef and wouldn't have been able to taste the difference for $32. They need to scrap that dish - if you're serving duck, wild boar, and beef tips, I would expect that people would want to taste those separately, not ground together. The Ravioli de Aragosta, however you spell it, that was superb!!! Service was great, but we we're outside of the restaurant in a tent and it was raining. Kind of tainted the experience. We're not sure if we would go back.

Awesome food...just wish we had a better view from our table, but it was still excellent

It is delicious and top notch dining don't get me wrong. But spending the same as a week's worth of groceries in one sitting is tough for me to justify. Luca is about the best Italian food I can imagine if you can do if you have the cash to burn.

The Lobster tail with risotto was phenomenal. Loved the service as well!

Marvellous experience. We had the sachetti with risotto and the wild boar shank! We atarted with the carpaccio do manzo with love beef and a Lucette Super Tuscan! The server was attentive and prompt!

LUCA is one of our favorite restaurants in the Cleveland area. Atmosphere feels like a sexy romantic exposed brick NYC location. Food is absolutely outstanding.

Food was not great. Table that we sat at was by backdoor and customers were using it to walk in and out to smoke cigs.
