Food was amazing. Had a special Valentine's Day menu which we ordered entrees from. Ordered apps for the regular menu and specials. All amazing. Top notch chef over there.

Service was fine, but the food was just average (for brunch, at least). Bloody Marys were $11 each. A little steep.

I was there visiting from Virginia Beach and ABBEY made our eating experience so much fun . Her attention to detail and customer service was impeccable!!

This place was the only place we found a somewhat different menu, they also offered chicken and waffles which is a must in the south we heard. We were in Charleston, SC for two nights and wanted something quirky and cute. The staff was extremely kind and caring, the food was fantastic, I recently made a play off their Arugula salad I had there, and the wine selection was great, not to overwhelming which is best. I highly recommend this place, truly a diamond in the ruff.

It was just ok, and with all the dinning options in Charleston and its surrounding areas you need to be better then just ok.

The vibe is very uplifting and light and warm. The meal was so memorable. My daughter had chicken & waffles (it's a lot of food, 1/2 a chicken) and I had a fish special that was so good I was scraping the bowl to get every last drop. We both shared the pork belly scallop appetizer which was delicious. The waitress was adorable and everyone in the place looked very happy to be there. Would definitely go back.

We were there for lunch and both had the "special" shrimp and crawfish Etouffee which was outstanding. They should add it to the regular menu

This place was great! I initially was looking for somewhere for my husband to have Chicken and Waffles for dinner. We were on our last night in Charleston for vacation and he did not have any yet - its one of his favorites! So I went searching and found they ranked No 2 on Foursquare for their chicken and waffles. I made a reservation for that evening. It did not disappoint! My husband loved the chicken and waffles! I had the shrimp and grits. They too were amazing! The restaurant was pretty empty (it was a Monday night in January!), but I can imagine that this place could be packed in high season and possibly noisy then too. Service was great as well!

Absolutely love this place! Each time we visit Charleston, this is our go to for Sunday brunch. Great way to end a weekend trip. The food is so tasty, great presentation and service. My favorite is the crab cake benedict. The biscuits and jam as also fabulous. Love that everything is fresh. When it comes to food, you get what you pay for. This is a little on the pricey side for brunch however it's worth every penny! Until next time..

THE MEAL WAS GREAT, THE SERVICE WAS GREAT, BUT IT WAS DIFFICULT TO CARRY ON A CONVERSATION DUE TO THE NOISY ENVIRONMENT. IT SORT OF PUT A DAMPER ON THE MEAL.

We were there during Charleston Restaurant Week...3 courses for $30. I had the Caesar salad, hanger steak, and chocolate cheesecake. My wife has the Caesar salad, shimp & grits, anda grilled cornbread dessert. Everything was great, the desserts being especially good. The service was fantastic. We'll definitely be back.

You HAVE to try the sausage gravy!!

I was hoping for good things but honestly it started rough with the service. We were left unattended for nearly 10 min and when we were finally seated not a single "sorry for the wait". Then we ordered food and some of it was great. The She crab soup was great as were the Shrimp and Grits. The fried green tomatoes were terrible. The greasing was cheap and burnt and they had no flavor to speak of. The poor service really dropped the stars here. Huge disappointment to me to receive poor service in a city known for its hospitality.

Highly recommend this restaurant! The food was delicious and full of flavor. Our server Kevin was outstanding and extremely professional! We will definitely be visiting again.

Ok I'm seriously confused by all the reviews I read prior to trying this place. We tried the menu for the Restaurant week and were seriously disappointed. The fried green tomato appetizer was over done. The Grits were dried out. For the main course I tried the shrimp and grits with the Tomato ham Tasso gravy. The Grits were dried out. The sausage was dried out. The shrimp was over cooked. The gravy was just a blob of tomato that looked like it just came out of the can. My husbands soup was to be a broth based but ended up being a cream based. The Bouillabaisse was ok but the shrimp were over cooked however they were kind enough to spice it up for my husband. However desert was cornbread peach cobbler which was different and quite good. The Key Lime pie was also not bad however the cobbler was the best of the night. Having said all this it's still worth a try as perhaps we had a bad night. The staff was friendly and Krystal our server was very sweet and nice.

My husband and I tried this for Sunday Brunch during our most recent visit to Charleston. We were trying places we'd never been to before, and we greatly enjoyed everything about this spot. Our good was delicious, and the all you can drink Mimosas flowed freely. My husband had the Chicken and Waffles - and let me tell you....those waffles were AMAZING! We will definitely visit again on our next visit.

Excellent! My business partner and I discovered this place a few years ago, and my wife and I soon added it to our shortlist of faves in Charleston, which we visit frequently. Fantastic 2nd story porch (which the current owners built over what used to be an underutilized alleyway space) provides outdoor seating with nice ambience, and it actually worked well on this balmy night in January.

The service was outstanding: shout out to our server, Sam, in particular, for hitting the right balance of being available and helpful, without crossing over into officious, intrusive, or obsequious (i.e., he was not in our faces too often, and was helpful without being overbearing in describing the dishes).

The food as always was creative, flavorful, and unique. I have always considered the shrimp and grits at another Charleston establishment to be my favorite anywhere, of all time. The manager of LowCountry Bistro, a delightful veteran of the restaurant biz named Waylan, invited me to put theirs to the test tonight, though. And they did not disappoint. In fact, I left with a new favorite-and in a town known for this dish, where it's a subject of much competition, that is saying something. Imagine perfectly sized chunks of andouille sausage, exquisitely-seasoned grilled shrimp with flavorful stone-ground cheese grits, and- the kicker that sent it over the top–a delicious smoked tomato "gravy" essentially on the side, available to add a little extra tomato base & spice for some bites, but not all of them if you didn't want it to. Perfection.

My wife loved her hangar steak as well, and the starters included with our meal (it was Restaurant Week, so the 3 for $30 menu was a tremendous value!) were just the right size and taste combination; the she crab soup was killer-just the right mix of Sherry & tasty lump crabmeat.

For dessert, a sweet-grilled cornbread w/peach compote that felt both "down home southern" yet still unique- another tough combo to pull off. Bravo, LCB!

The décor here is lovely and modern. The staff is super friendly and laid back, which might not be the vibe for everyone, but perfect for my husband and I. We went during restaurant week and took advantage of the special menu. The shrimp and grits were pretty amazing and unique with a tomato sauce. The fried green tomatoes were excellent. We finished up with a crème brulee which was quite good as well.

I loved the atmosphere, decor, and food selection. Fried green tomatoes appetizer and Creme Brulee were fabulous.

The service & ambiance was good but the food was not. We went for brunch & it was just OK food. The menu did sound great & others had rated it a great place for brunch but to be honest I would not go back for brunch.

The menu for restaurant week attracted us. However the food was just OK. I believe because it was restaurant week things were prepared in advance for the potential rush. There's was probably a 2 minute or less wait between our courses. We both had chicken and waffles everything was luke warm and the waffles didn't taste fresh. The creme brulee was room temp.

This was a nice find, we've been to Charleston several times and passed this place on Market St each time. However, they're really good. They were able to seat our party of six without issue and the food was great. I had She Crab soup and Chicken and Waffles, which were quite good.

Stopped in for my lunch break and sat at the bar since it was just me, really enjoyed the bartender Sophie and the manager on duty was very kind as well. Made you feel at home and comfortable. I ordered the Club and oh my gosh do you get your monies worth and it was absolutely delicious. I cant remember what kind of aioli or pesto came on it but it was fantastic. Looked at their restaurant menu as well and I may be stopping in again soon with my husband for dinner! Will definitely be back for lunch and I highly recommend stopping in, even if it's just for a cocktail.

Got a reservation for 6 people no problem. The service was excellent, our waiter was extremely knowledgable and friendly . The food was phenomenal. Will definitely be back.

We enjoyed a new year's Eve dinner with our two teenage boys and it fit our need for simple elegance and excellent food. The collards were outstanding and one boy really enjoyed the lamb shank. We enjoyed our meal.

Bland food! These people need spices! My wife's canned tomato soup was terrible! Her shrimp and grits could be used for mortar repair on Ft. Sumter! My "duck" was nothing more than a chicken leg from a gas station! Over priced plain food!
