Food is great, very small portions for the price . Request a specific table so as not to get a center isle table as they are too small.

The food and service were fantastic! The noise level was high due to the layout and furniture, nothing in there absorbs sound but it won’t keep me from returning.

The food was amazing but our waitress was very slow. She forgot to take our order and did not check in on us enough. We had to get one of the servers to take our order. She attended all the other tables except ours, not sure why. We had to work really hard to get her attention. I would go back but I hope we don't have the same server.

This was our first time at Love and Salt. We chose this restaurant for New Year's Eve dinner so it was quite loud...it's a really fun, energetic ambience. We LOVED our meal choices (both got the Trout)...Donuts were yummy too. Can't wait to go back and try their pizza which looked and smelled amazing! Our server was delightful and took the time (even on a busy night) to go over the menu choices with us.

Fantastic everything! Amazing service, never unfriendly. Our reservation was rescheduled due to maintenance issues and they remembered us and gave us free appetizers and dessert! Delicious food, one of the reasons I come to L.A.

First time here. Excellent meal. Had the meatballs which were probably the best park of the meal. The cauliflower appetizer was good but overly salty. The duck pizza needed a little more of a kick to make the flavors stand out. The lamb pasta was also good. Friendly, attentive staff.

Bruce Lee is a server that works there. He is one of the most passionate people you will meet about service and food in the city! Food never disappoints, creative, fresh and tasty.

Restaurant service was alright, server was very kind and thoughtful. While the ambiance and overall service was great, the food didn't really met our expectations. Duck egg pie tasted good, but would be better if they put a candle beneath the plate to keep it warm. Otherwise, the bucatini wasn't fully cooked, hence remained slightly hard. Bone marrow pasta tasted alright.

We had reservations and when we arrived, we were immediately seated. The server was very attentive, friendly and helpful selecting our foods with recommendations. All of the foods were very tasty. We ordered the homemade English muffins which came with in restaurant made butter. The butter was of perfect consistency and flavor. All of the main dishes were cooked perfectly with the exception of the trotolle which was overcooked; too soft. The Freekehlicious Salad was excellent!

I don't know where to start with Love and Salt but I can end by saying this is one of the best restaurants if not the best in the south bay. The menu is full of tasty options that will make you want to just keep ordering. Lastly, Bruce Lee is a waiter that will make every experience special from his professional manner to his engaging interaction he is the real deal.

Our waiter was Bruce L. and he was attentive, professional and engaging. The food yummy for brunch with shared plates -we wanted to try it all. Manager was terrific in ensuring all was ok and gave us a tour of the private wine/dining room.

So much on the menu we wanted to try. We will def be back.

We don't go back to the same restaurant but this one really deserved it we tried a couple of pasta dishes the portions are small comparatively but the tastes are huge. We had the bone marrow pasta which is hands-down the best dish on the menu, the papardelle was also superb.. the grain salad was a bit underdressed.. our server Bruce was polite knowledgeable and helpful. The desserts were good but not on par with the main dishes... great experience

I must admit, I may be a little biased because the gentleman at the table behind us had a booming voice, which ruined conversation at our table until he left.

The Good: The food was tasty and presented nicely. The Branzino at the table was a big hit, as was the gnocchi. I like the family sharing. The cocktails went over well. Our server was very nice. The area was very pretty and chic.

The Bad: The menu that was on the website did not match the menu at the restaurant. We were excited to have the rabbit and the pighead, neither was offered and nothing extraordinary replaced these things. The pace of the meal was great until the fish. We waited a half hour for the fish. The acoustics of the restaurant made us hear a lot of other people's conversation.

Overall: A good experience but not as unique or special as I anticipated.

There's a "wow factor" to eating at Love & Salt! Set in our casual South Bay beach town, it's a perfect excuse NOT to drive to Beverly Hills or Santa Monica for an upscale dinner. Food and drink are 5-star! The manager Steffan always makes sure things are running smoothly.

Great service. The food was fantastic. I think the pizza is a perfect size. Thin crust but nice chewy flavorful edges. I probably won’t order the house red again but overall great experience. They even brought out a dessert for my birthday. Very kind. Can’t wait to go back!

This restaurant is amazing! Everything was delicious and the service is great. I ordered the Trottole (pasta with bone marrow) and OMG best I’ve had. For appetizer we ordered the meatballs and they were also delish. I will be going back to try other dishes.

It was my first time there and it was my wife's birthday . We had an amazing experience . The wait staff was very knowledgeable about the menu and they wanted you as the diner to have an amazing experience . I was often given recommendations and pretty much helped with what goes well with what through out the dinner by the staff. We had a dietary restriction and the chef was cool enough to let us try something they were experimenting with , so we had the duck egg pizza with duck salami instead of the traditional pancetta and it was sublime .
