Our waiter was Bruce L. and he was attentive, professional and engaging. The food yummy for brunch with shared plates -we wanted to try it all. Manager was terrific in ensuring all was ok and gave us a tour of the private wine/dining room.

So much on the menu we wanted to try. We will def be back.

We don't go back to the same restaurant but this one really deserved it we tried a couple of pasta dishes the portions are small comparatively but the tastes are huge. We had the bone marrow pasta which is hands-down the best dish on the menu, the papardelle was also superb.. the grain salad was a bit underdressed.. our server Bruce was polite knowledgeable and helpful. The desserts were good but not on par with the main dishes... great experience

Great food and great service. The menu is interesting without being too exotic. A cut above the rest.

Food was really good but the service was exceptional. Our waiter went above and beyond, was personable and engaging but not overly so.

I must admit, I may be a little biased because the gentleman at the table behind us had a booming voice, which ruined conversation at our table until he left.

The Good: The food was tasty and presented nicely. The Branzino at the table was a big hit, as was the gnocchi. I like the family sharing. The cocktails went over well. Our server was very nice. The area was very pretty and chic.

The Bad: The menu that was on the website did not match the menu at the restaurant. We were excited to have the rabbit and the pighead, neither was offered and nothing extraordinary replaced these things. The pace of the meal was great until the fish. We waited a half hour for the fish. The acoustics of the restaurant made us hear a lot of other people's conversation.

Overall: A good experience but not as unique or special as I anticipated.

Great service. The food was fantastic. I think the pizza is a perfect size. Thin crust but nice chewy flavorful edges. I probably won’t order the house red again but overall great experience. They even brought out a dessert for my birthday. Very kind. Can’t wait to go back!

This restaurant is amazing! Everything was delicious and the service is great. I ordered the Trottole (pasta with bone marrow) and OMG best I’ve had. For appetizer we ordered the meatballs and they were also delish. I will be going back to try other dishes.

This is a gem of a place. Great entrees, salads, appetizers and the brown sugar pudding is the best dessert I have ever had.

It was my first time there and it was my wife's birthday . We had an amazing experience . The wait staff was very knowledgeable about the menu and they wanted you as the diner to have an amazing experience . I was often given recommendations and pretty much helped with what goes well with what through out the dinner by the staff. We had a dietary restriction and the chef was cool enough to let us try something they were experimenting with , so we had the duck egg pizza with duck salami instead of the traditional pancetta and it was sublime .

Food was fresh and tasty. Wait staff was helpful and friendly. Dining room is small and loud and there is no outdoor seating. Our reservation was at the end of their busy period and it took a good 20 minutes for a waiter to come to our table and get a drink order. There is a parking structure directly behind the restaurant.

We are regulars at Love & Salt, and usually have a wonderful experience. However, whenever we get this particular waitress (unfortunately I don’t have her name), our service tends to be inconsistent throughout the night...one persons course will come out and then another’s is forgotten about... we sit and wait so we can all eat together....reminding her we’re still missing a meal...still waiting.... it’s embarrassing to bring friends there, only to have spotty service. We will still be regulars, but will be sure to ask for a different server.

We went to Love and Salt for my birthday with my mom, dad and brother. We ordered the English Muffins and Meatballs as an appetizer and we were not disappointed. For the dinner we shared the Kale Salad, Bone Marrow Pasta, Duck Egg Pizza and the Chicken all of which were amazing! If I could go back every day and try something new I would.

Great little date spot too as we saw a lot of couples on dates with the nicely dimmed lights.

Greeters were great. Didn't trip after we were late for our reservations.

Solid appetizer menu. Loved the lamb tongue sliders and breadcrumbed cauliflower.
Very strong cocktail called "Penicillin." Worth the price. All you need is one to relax.

The main pasta dish I had -- Bucatini -- was on the small side but sausage was tasty and paired nicely with the noodles. Skirt steak was seasoned and cooked perfectly.

Waitress knew it was my birthday and tossed in a complementary bread pudding dish, which was delicious.

The restaurant can get a bit loud as quarters can get tight. We went in the late evening, so traffic died down along with the noise. Good spot for a boisterous group, or if you wanna eat some great food while watching a game.

It's Manhattan Beach, so expect things to be on the pricey side.

Food was great. Enjoyed every dish.

Plates came out way too quickly at the start with first dish arricong moments after cocktails were delivered. Then two more plates arrived. We sent back and asked them to do better job with the spacing. We weren't looking to camp out for the night, but dinner would have been 45 minutes otherwise.

With a nice bottle of wine, this was going to be a c 250 dollar evening. We shouldn't have felt rushed and they were a little awkward when I first pushed back. But they got it right eventually and the meal was delicious.

We will go back, but will make sure we control the ordering of the small plates so the evening flows as they don't seem to have that down very well.

Hadn’t been to Love & Salt in over a year. I think the menu has improved. Everything we ordered was delicious. I recommend the “ creamed “ corn on the starter list. We had numerous items and as I said everything was tasty!
