Great décor, great food, great staff, I love coming back to Loulay!
Celebrate my 50th! Had great service, my risotto was the best I’ve ever had, my friends ordered the duck and the cod both loved their food as well! Delicious!!!
Amazing food and impeccable service. One of our go to favs.
The food was okay, but overpriced for the quality. The service and cocktails were quite excellent, and the overall ambiance was unique. It was an okay place to try, but I most likely won’t return, due to the price and quality of the food.
This was my second experience at Loulay and I was underwhelmed again.
My main dish was under seasoned, although the French Onion soup was perfect. The service was awful. Our server was completely disinterested and we ordered multiple courses which were not timed well at all, so we had some food coming out before others and secondary courses coming out for some that were not done with first. Very disappointed in what should be a quality experience.
Perfect informal date spot with attentive service.
Off to see Frozen at the Paramount with my daughter and her family! Another amazing meal and time at Loulay! Food is always delicious and service is spectacular! Love love love Loulay! ❤️❤️❤️
Solid menu and well prepared. Somewhat eclectic but always tasty!
Very nice Sunday early evening dinner. Enjoyed a variety of apps and entrees, and everyone enjoyed them all. Service was fast and friendly. Will happily return.
Love this restaurant. It is in the downtown Seattle Sheraton Hotel, but you may enter from the street. The service is great from the moment you walk in. The food is awesome as are the drinks. I highly recommit LouLay.
We'be been to Loulay many times, always for breakfast or brunch. It's never noisy or crowded, the staff is always friendly and professional, and you never get the feeling you should move on because tables need to be turned. The food is usually excellent and tastes wonderful. Fried potatoes and other standard items are re-created from time to time, so they remain interesting. What's predictable is the quality, but not the details of the execution. Egg dishes are reliably solid. Portion sizes are just-right, not gigantic and not small. If you feel like adding some more fun to your breakfast, or it's a special occasion with friends, have the beignets and share them. Espresso has never disappointed, either, so be sure to get that or another class act from the coffee drinks.
I would give Loulay five stars, but it's become quite expensive. That's my only reservation.
I have long been a fan of Loulay with my friends. It was a fun treat to introduce my children, who all cleaned their plates! The staff was happy to make menu changes if needed, but my kids loved loved loved the food. They even ate mine! A new fave spot for the family... We will all be back!
A pleasure, as always
Love everything about this place! Our favorite place in Seattle.
Had the gem lettuce salad with dungeness crab added for lunch. Really bland/tasteless.
Thanks to server Ryan, hostess Tram and the chef (sorry I don't know his name) who went out of their way to make a special occasion for me, a lovely evening. We will be back for the foie gras!
This was our first visit to Loulay. We'll be back!
The food was good. Beignets were good but to crispy shelled; apple compote and creme anglaise were flavorful. The duck hash had a great flavor but had 2 large splintered bones in it. The eggs Benedict tasted great but the egg yolks were hard. Not well executed.
Three of us were reconnecting and I appreciated we were in the a quiet area since we talked for 2 hours. But I thought our server was torn between areas, and we were in the back: okay but not the fun part. My cousin still loved it. We will be back with more friends.
Service was a little spotty, seemed confused or had too many tables. At one point another waiter got us drinks. 3 of liked our meal very much and one was not happy. The vide is very cool a bit over run with theater folks which was great once they all left. Really good drinks and the French onion soup was amazing. I would go back!
My son’s first time at Loulay and he loved the whole experience.
Best food in Seattle
This place was perfect for Valentine’s Day dinner. The food was delicious and the service was impeccable.
The most overrated restaurant in Seattle. The 4 course Valentine's tasting was far below worth the $100 price. Fine dining needs more than a nice plate to work, and Loulay falls short in taste and quality.
I have been going to Thierry Rautureau's restaurants since the early 90s and as a vegetarian I have always enjoyed the exquisite food he offers. But as my husband said "you don't get the best from a restaurant on Valentine's Day" and that was the case on our last visit to Loulay. The vegetarian prix fixe offering was uneven - starting with discs of bland beets, then on to a delicious mushroom ravioli, followed by tough vegetables that I could barely cut with my knife accompanied by a tasty savory mousse and a delicious sauce.
Great atmosphere, excellent food choices and attentive servers.
Carrots from the first course and beignets from the dessert menu, were the highlights for us! Exceptional service!
Excellent food and very informative wine recommendation from the sommelier.
Super tasty food. Attentive hosts. Not rushed. From out of town but wish we had one in CA!
LouLay is always a wonderful experience. Our server is always phenomenal, as is the food. Of course it would be nice if the meal was less expensive, but the experience is worth the cost.
Fantastic food and service
