The food was good, but we went for restaurant week and didn’t know the restaurant wasn’t participating this week until we were seated. They had ads on social media for it and no update on the website. The chalkboard inside even said it was going on. Very disappointing when that was the whole reason we came in.
Had reservation for restaurant week they said they weren’t starting it until tomorrow . They had a RW menu on the website. None of the items on the restaurant menu were offered.. Blamed it on Covid yet they were open for.business??
Salad was over-dressed. Won’t be going back.
Drinks are good but food is not at all as expected
one of my favorite places. cant wait for the new patio to open when the weather is nice!
My husband and I had one of of our first dates at Louie’s 5 years ago!! We sooo miss the deviled eggs! Wine was great, service fab and food scrumptious!!
Took a long time to get the main course and my wives dinner was not hot in temperature. They comped the mark - that was nice but waiting an hours for food and jamming all the guests up in the high seating area was not good planning.
Good food as always and great spot for date night with the wife.
The servers are always amazing! The drinks are yummy and the food is on point!
Too bright; table next to us was a bunch of nerds that kept taking a bunch of pictures.
Had the biscuits and gravy for brunch. It was delicious! It was just freezing in the restaurant so hard to enjoy the meal. Ended up wearing my coat it was so cold.
I will for sure be going back. The atmosphere was awesome.
This place was amazing. Great food and great service. The chicken piccata was so delicious. My new go-to place.
Friendly staff, delicious food. Really liked the background music.
We went in after church. Our server, KC was outstanding. The food was good, my husband had fish and chip, he said they wer average . I had shrimp tacos, and they were good. Very clean, Street taco size tortilla with pickled cabbage, avocado, and 1-2 small pieces shrimp. It was just to my taste. The guacamole was served with cool veggies and a few fresh chips. I liked the meal . The wine was good. The prices were at the upper end. For our meal, it was about $50. Per person. We will return
While the food was good - we had to wait well over 30 minutes to get our food. Luckily, we weren’t in any kind of rush so it was not a big deal for us. The server was super nice but you could tell she was trying to serve too many tables. Way too loud for us. It was difficult to hear each other talking.
Friend recommend us stopping here for breakfast so it was our first time attending. Wonderful atmosphere and our waitress was excellent. The flavor of the food was fantastic.
Unfortunately, we were disappointed with our experience. There were 3 couples and we all felt the same way. The wait staff was very good and so as the atmosphere, our complaint was the limited menu and the food itself. Also, for being a wine bar they were out of Pinot Grigio which is really ridiculous! The appetizer selection was limited. We had the brussels sprouts and guacamole. The menu was limited too. All in all disappointed and probably would not go back.
One of our favorite spots! Consistently good food and cocktails and love the atmosphere. Perfect date night spot and service was awesome!
We love Louie’s Wine Dive. It out go-to spot for a guaranteed delicious meal. We live the Brussel sprouts and Beignets.
The food and drink selection was great, service was pretty slow though. Will return but hope they can get the meal wait times better. Very fun ambiance though!
Our food was fantastic and the waitress was amazing. Since it was a Saturday night before Christmas, and extremely busy- we were pleasantly surprised!
We will be going back.
Made early evening reservation at one of our favorite places and it was a complete swing and miss. My incredibly small portion of beef stew was cold, had to send back but was understandable since it probably sat for 30 minutes before server brought it out. It didn’t have but two bits of beef in the stew, tasted like total crap (and it was the special!). The fish and chips, a Louie’s staple, stunk too! We felt sorry for server because she was completely overrun. This place had limited staff yet manager allowed it to fill to the brim. Server did lose interest when we didn’t order second bottle of wine though…she stopped bringing water…two hour dinner and it was a horrible experience. Will be awhile before we even consider going back. We were stunned because this place is typically top notch. Would have loved to make lemonade out of lemons but not sure we could have found a lemon or someone to bring it to us. Unbelievable…come on folks, manage the situation rather than pull this stuff!
Met some friends at LWD and had drinks and a charcuterie board. Beer was cold, vodka was good and board was a nice mix of cheese, meats etc. will be back. Noise level higher than average.
Food and drinks were just ok.
Excellent service with good food.
It was another great meal at Louie's. Great wine on happy hour as well.
I'm celiac & it's the only place I can have fish & chips. They use a separate fryer & don't mix gluten in the grease.
Waiter was very nice. The food was great. The atmosphere was nice.
Dave was amazing! Had the best service and experience! Recommend for sure!
Saw Louie’s on line and read the reviews. We thought it looked interesting and gave it a try. Excellent restaurant. Well done The food very good and the wait staff pleasant and knowledgable.
Great! I love this place. I always have a great experience here.
My wife and I love this place! Always a great date with great food and wine!
The kitchen had issues so they weren't able to prepare food. The first time we came here they were reservation only. This just is not our place I guess.
Excellent menu with lots of gluten-free options. Food was outstanding.
We always love Louie's Wine Dive for the food and the ambiance. This time I tried the Blackened Salmon salad and hubby had the quinoa salad with chicken - both were excellent! Somehow they also seem to have the ability to hire the better serving staff, which in these times is so hard to find!
They were not open
Great food and service, fun atmosphere but really noisy.
Staff was fine but the e trance has no flyer and so do NOT sit anywhere near the door due to cold and wind blowing into the dining area. Many do not know this was an old Circle K that was renovated years ago into a restaurant. The food was very good, but from an ambiance standpoint, for the price, I prefer a proper restaurant design. Warmer temps should produce a better result.
Brunch on a Saturday, and NOT an oversized, groaning plate of artery-clogging food - I DO so appreciate a more sensible, but slightly indulgent, meal. Thanks!
Got mimosas with the girls & the atmosphere was fun & perfect for brunch! Server was attentive and the food was great!
