Wonderful dinner and love the ambiance here! Consistently good service and food. Our favorite date night spot in South OP!
Food was great ! Had a great wine Selection, Ross provide outstanding customer service
Love this place! Great service and great food!
First Visit. 12:30 pm party of four for brunch. Seated quickly, but s-l-o-w waiter service that took 15 minutes to place the drink order. Of course, failed to be correct initially and corrected after another 10 minutes. After the poor impression, we ordered and ate without fanfare. 20% tip for an unremarkable experience. Sorry, I cannot recommend it.
Service was fantastic, however, the A/C wasn't working properly and it was uncomfortably hot inside, so much so it felt the same outside as it did inside. Food was great, but it was hard to really enjoy the experience when you were sweating while you were eating. I hope they fix it ASAP.
We ordered the Funky chicken sandwich and the Sinatra burger sandwich with fries. The Funky chicken seemed undercooked so only ate a few bites. The hamburger was ok but only a step above McDonalds . Fries were good. We may just have caught the cook in an off night. This was our first time there and probably won’t go back anytime soon.
The food was good and the portions were just right. Old World Fashioned was outstanding.
Dave was absolutely amazing and very accommodating! The food was delicious and the drinks were done extremely well. Cannot say enough good things about the service!
We had a wonderful meal. On Thursday night - they had a Sirloin Steak special. It as a great steak - the sauce was perfect - as was the size of the serving.
You never fail us!
Went to Louie’s for lunch with a friend. Great hospitality and service from the moment we entered. The lunch combo meal is a great value and our salads and tacos were outstanding. Highly recommend!
Ross, our server, was excellent. He knows his wines and the food. He made the experience worth trying out this place for the first time.
Mike was a great host and the food and atmosphere was outstanding!
Not impressed by any of it. When the servers are in a casual outfit and the guest are somewhat in a casual mood, it should be a no brainer give the best service. Food was decent .
First time and it was wonderful! Had a great server who helped us choose the best on the menu, thank you!
Great local venue with unique and quality food!
Had the gnocchi and it was very flavorful and filling as usual.
Service amazing! Food Excellent! Has a great neighborhood feel to it. The brussels sprouts are fantastic. We will be back on a regular basis.
Took advantage of Monday specials, Mules to drink and flatbread to eat. Also got their brussel sprouts which we are partial to. Between the brussel sprouts and pepperoni flatbread, it was plenty for 2 of us and delicious. Waitstaff was very attentive. 👍
Awesome food and great service as always!!!
So here’s the thing…the service was amazing, the food was really good, I have no complaints about the ambiance or the crowd. But for some reason I was not impressed. As I sat there I kept trying to pin down why I already knew I would not return. Maybe some mysteries are not meant to be solved.
On the positive, the service was above standard. The beignets were amazing.
Great menu selection with many gluten-free options. Exceptional wine list. Great service.
First time there. Very impressed. Lobster Bisque was outstanding. Also Chicken Picatta was top notch. Server was right on top of things. Can’t recommend this place enough!
This was a perfect date spot! The service was outstanding, the food was really incredible at a great price, and the ambiance of the place lends itself to good conversation. We will definitely be coming back here!
Always love this place! Good, drinks and service.
First time diner. Arrived for reservation a bit early and they were able to seat us early. Staff was friendly and attentive. Wine list was not impressive and overpriced, $19 for a glass of average Chardonnay. Every table was occupied and the sound was more like a bar rather than a restaurant. Food was good, but again I felt overpriced, $19 for Fish and Chips; 3 small pieces of fish and fries. Overall feel was that of a neighborhood chain bar an grill, not a place I would expect to spend $70 (included tip) for 2 drinks, a bowl of soup, and Fish and Chips.
Must save room for the beignets for dessert, Lobster bisque was delicious and the best I have had!
Great wine! Food was fantastic. A little pricey, but worth it.
Great wait staff! Very accommodating! Tasty food!!
We celebrated Fathers Day with a nice brunch.
The restaurant is lively and fun. We had requested a booth and when we arrived we were immediately shown to a booth they had reserved for us. The noise level at first was a bit high but it didn’t take away from our enjoyment. We had shrimp tacos and the salmon salad. Both were fantastic. The shrimp tacos are 3 shrimp tacos on tortillas. My date found them to be delicious. I was glad I’d ordered the salad since the tacos wouldn’t have been enough for me. The wine here is not inexpensive but it is very good. As we ate some of the after work crowd left and the noise level went down. We can’t wait to go back!
Louie's is a long time favorite and it didn't disappoint. We'll be back again soon!
Nothing like “tried and true” with family visiting! First return post-Covid and we weren’t disappointed. Our server, Michael, was super friendly and offered spot-on recommendations for our early dinner. We were so early that it was still Happy Hour, which certainly helped a bit. Two different chicken sandwiches and tacos, along with the fish and chips satisfied all four of us easily. It can get loud in this space so it was nice to enjoy conversation this time.
Didn’t start out well with hostess giving attitude about changing tables (no one likes to sit by bathroom) especially when there are other
tables available. Food was great and our server was awesome , so it ended up great.
Our server was outstanding! Food and drinks great.
Food was amazing, service was great. The restaurant was a little warm but it’s also mid-June, so it’s tough to keep it cool in KC sometimes!
We've become quite the "regulars" at Louie's lately and have enjoyed most of the food we've had so far. Unfortunately, on this visit, the salmon (ordered by two people in our group) was simply lackluster and tasteless. The squash risotto also left me feeling blah-very bland and just too rich and creamy without any real taste. The tortellini and funky chicken were both very good. Their Brussels sprouts always hit the spot. Service is always so good at Louie's!
Delicious food; highly recommend the lobster bisque, Wisconsin cheese curds and wine samplers!
Their food and drinks were fantastic as always
