Mother's Day is extra special here at our TableSeide Restaurant locations. Because we believe in treating every family like our own we know just how important it is to express to our mothers how much they are loved. We do that through our food. We hope you join us again this year for Mother's Day!

Eating at Louie's Modern was it amazing dining experience. The food was fantastic. The wait staff was extremely friendly, professional, and knowledgeable.
Great service and unusual menu! Overall, experience was great and they were accommodating even though we were late.
We had a 1:00 pm Sunday reservation, and the restaurant was not very crowded, happily. There was a large group housed in another room, which worked well.
Many of the breakfast items were in steam trays, and much of that had been there too long. The cheese grits had dried out, and were actually not warm-not sure how that worked. Many of the other items on the steam line could easily have been replaced. The made to order items were satisfactory, and that was fine. The shellfish offerings were quite good, both the shrimp and crab legs.
The brunch is not inexpensive, and as many have commented, it seems silly to charge $4 for coffee, tea and soft drinks, when you are also offering unlimited mimosas and Bloody Mary drinks for a single $5 upcharge. Go big and include the non-alcoholic beverages in the price of the $35 buffett.
Arrived at the prebooked time, but when we got there the kitchen was closed because of an unspecified "problem in the kitchen"
Can't say anything about the food because I never got to taste it.
Always a special dinner setting. Contemporary and sophisticated with an innovative menu, great presentation & delicious food.
Good new menu.
We had dinner with some friends prior to a movie. First we enjoyed a drink at the bar during happy hour (one of their excellent signature cocktails). We all loved our meals - a roast chicken dish, a corvina fish entree, and crab Louie salads. Everything was well-prepared, attractive, and tasted great. The sides were interesting, too. The service was excellent, and we made it to our movie on time.
The Brunch is outstanding!!! Well worth the price and drive for those outside of the Sarasota/Manatee area.
A great Sunday brunch. Best in Sarasota!!
The reason we rated the service lower is because our meals arrived way to quickly, we had not finished our appetizers. This after the waiter told us the kitchen was behind...which was fine with us as we were not in any hurry. This is not cool !
Beautiful modern, sophisticated restaurant. Excellent service. The food was good, but not excellent. They need to turn it up a notch. It didn't have that special something that I was expecting. I might try it again.
Good food, interesting menu. Service very very slow, nearly an hour to get mains...
Deliciously prepared food, really great service staff. Favorite of ours!
disappointing from past experiences here. service very slow. food doesn’t seem quite as good.
The meal and service were good. We were seated at the only “two top” in the Resturant which (although it was way too small to have dinner and bread basket at same time) would have been unremarkable but for the fact 30% of the tables were empty. The host chose to seat all guest Tightly squeezed into one side of the restaurant with a few tables scattered throughout the rest. So I had the luxury of hearing all of the surrounding tables conversation on a night when they were not very busy. The point is ; attention to small details matters and when you have a $200 meal you should feel special when it is an option. I️ would have asked to be reseated but the couple ahead of us had arrived 15 min before there reservation and were told to have a seat at the bar, I️ expected all the tables to be full. At least 30% of the tables remained open through our dinner, we finished around 9:30 which is well past the dinner time in Sarasota .
Took friends from NYC. They could not believe that such a sophisticated restaurant could be in Sarasota.
We had a great dinner here with friends. The service was good and so was the food. We parked upstairs in the parking garage, super convenient !
Our food was excellent. Server was forgetful and would state he could not remember and walk away from the table when we asked him regarding buffet, drinks, etc.
Best restaurant we have been to in a while! Everything was perfectly seasoned-not too salty and tasted perfect
Such a great spot! We love this spot! Always great food and a fun atmosphere! Never disappoints and you must order the burratta!
Great vibe, but a bit noisy. Really like to new menu! Lots of reasonably priced beverage choices and nice selection of wines. Food options covered all bases and all the plates were empty at the end of the meal.
Outstanding as always!! Looking forward to the summer menu
Terrible. Service waytoo fast, cedar plank salmon almost raw when supposed to be medium. The four OS will never return there
On Sunday 4:45 room was mostly empty, so can't really judge noise levels
The main problem: the food was indifferent.
I’ve been a few times but was disappointed this time my fish was dry wanted to mention this to the waitress but didn’t she her again
Our guest ordered steak rare came medium
disappointing all around
Service very slow
The four of us were all pleasantly surprised at the wonderful food, from the appetizers to the desserts; Presentation and great wait staff and attentiveness. We have lived in the area for several years, dine downtown, but have never dined at Louie's Modern. We all agreed we would definitely return and feel it is one of our favorites now.
We had three different main courses and they were all good. Pork chop, half chicken and a shrimp and scallop dish. I continue to enjoy eating there.
This was our third visit. All were AMAZING! LOVED the quality and variety of the food, the beautiful, contemporary environment, and the friendly, genuine and informed servers.
We go to Sarasota annually in the spring. We were not as impressed with the food as in the past. It almost seemed "dumbed down" to us. That said, Louie's is much better than many other restaurants downtown, so we'll keep it on our list - for now.
Food was great for 7 persons out of 8. Fish for the 8th person was over cooked. Took long time to get another one. The second one was very good. No gestured however from the restaurant.
Making the reservation on Open table it required a credit card. I found the process to be ridiculous. Had I called to make the reservation I wouldn't have given my credit card number over the phone. From all my restaurants reservations, Louies Modern is the only one requiring a credit card. Open Table should not allow this ridiculous request.
Fantastic. Our waiter, Zachary was one of the best we’ve had. My wife ordered the salmon and I tried the Veal. Both were superb. The Redemption Bourban cocktails were also excellent!
We really enjoyed our Theater Meal, good value and delushous!
Birthday dinner for out if town guest. Everyone lived it.
A creative and sophisticated menu with something for all tastes --- the grilled amberjack special was outstanding, as was the daily salmon, and Spencer provided attentive service. Consistently excellent food & service; an always reliable choice for lunch or dinner .
Great service and food. Atmosphere a little noisy. Overall excellent experience.
An upscale dining option in fashionable Sarasota is not a surprise but Louies Modern meets expectations and invites a return visit. My only complaint is a common one; Happy Hour prices don't apply in the dining room. Oyster appetizer and fish special were my choices along with wine by the glass from an interesting list spanning multiple continents. Service was superb/presentation elegant/food superior.
Waited in bar for a few minutes. It was very busy and had to wait quite a while for drinks. Bar tenders not friendly but maybe because they were busy. Drinks were very good. Food in restaurant was delicious however service was incredibly slow. We had to keep calling waiter over to our table. He very rarely checked on us.
The food here is very good and well-presented, the service professional and the setting interesting and pretty. It is, however, too noisy, partly because of the room acoustics and partly because of the loud adjacent bar. It has a good $30 prix fixe menu up to a certain time, but not only is it not offered except on request, but at our dinner the waitress at first denied there was one and presented us the more costly regular menu (at 5:45pm), but only gave us what she called the "theatre menu" after a second inquiry.
