Aesthetic was lovely, service prompt, accommodating and professional. Menu showed creativity and preparation was perfect. We will definitely entertain there again.
We had an outstanding meal at Lotus. The service was great, the menu creative and the food was fresh, healthy, and super tasty. The menu changes often which is great for variety but can be a little disheartening if you have your heart set on something you've had there in the past - only because it was just too good! Excited to go back.
Excellent meal
Dinner was terrific. Great Music - Dessert was out of this world
Amazing place, found by chance..met old friends for dinner, all 4 of us had memorable meals..can’t stop talking about it..go..you just have to go and experience it for yourself..note it’s a byob, so go prepared!
We had a pleasant enough dinner, especially enjoying the popcorn appetizer, and the desserts. The other dishes weren't so great--in particular, the cold potato appetizer and the cold toast and bean dish (both would have been better warm or hot). One of our party was a vegetarian and had few choices (none among the entrees). But I expected more since I had had better experiences at this restaurant the last time I came (a few years ago).
Food and service were very good. Menu choices are limited. The last time I was there, many vegetarian options were on the menu. This time vegetarian options were limited.
I have been here for lunch previously and it was great. Unfortunately this dinner experience was not great. There seemed to be some confusion where multiple people tried to take our orders. The waitress dropped mussel juice all over the table and the floor around my husband and didn’t come back to clean it up. They didn’t provide us with plates for our mussel appetizer that we were splitting. They also did not provide us with steak knives for our meats forcing us to cut our meats with butter knives. And when we found a food runner to ask him for knives he brought them to the wrong table. The food was just ok. I will be back for lunch but unfortunately the dinner was not a great experience.
Delicious food and creative recipes!
First time here and will definitely go back. Very different combinations of foods but went together perfectly. My trout was amazing!
Service was fabulous as well
We’ve enjoyed Lotus several times for date nights and evenings out with friends. This time we took our kids with Celiac disease and they were very accommodating. My 8 year old said the grilled chicken fingers were a “ten out of ten”. We were able to enjoy creative and seasonal fish dishes while the kids were happy too.
Great service, wonderful quality plates, BYOB. It's a small place, quiet, lots of choices on the menu.
Fresh local food, beautifully and deliciously prepared, awesome tea selection.
Not the best place for babies just FYI to the moms and dads. HOWEVER, definitely a foodie place! Fresh, innovative, hipster chic spot. Live musician. Romantic. BYOB!!!!! I had a great time and will go again. The ribeye was scrum-diddley- umm-ptious. 4 stars!!!
Always love coming to Lotus have never been disappointed!
Second time to Lotus and unfortunately this time did not live up to the last. Food was "ok" (My salmon was burnt on the skin, kale salad was huge but so were the pieces of kale and choco-chip EVOO cake was bland) and service was poor - waitress was flighty at best. Brought us our check before we even got our dessert and we were only one of 3 tables in the restaurant. The atmosphere is great
The food was all very good. I had the 1/2 chicken it was very tender and juicy. My date had the salmon. He loved it.
Food was delicious, service was okay, and the time between appetizers and entree was a bit long. I would certainly have dinner here again simply for the food!
Excellent dinner. Very enjoyable.
We have been faithful patrons. We have always enjoyed the food and the service. The food is perfectly seasoned and portions just right
This was our first time here and we loved it! The food was delicious and the service was amazing! It was my birthday and although we didn’t order dessert, they brought me out a piece of cake with a candle on the house! They also gave me a free sample of “birthday tea”. Additionally, my boyfriend wanted a change to the menu (instead of the salmon he wanted the duck) and they were more than accommodating. I cannot wait to go back to try another entree and the teas!
Great farm to table restaurant. Always a good meal when I am there. Great service. Attentive to special requests due to food allergies. A gem in Media.
NYE, so we have learned to lower our expectations. Lotus did a good job on a tough night. While our entrees were good, the starters and desert were average. Service was good, and the ambience was great. Good place to get your local on, and eat your veggies.
Quaint restaurant, service was excellent. Limited menu options and high cost for meals.
A great farm to table option in restaurant-heavy Media. Great combinations of locally sourced, fresh food. Good changing menu, always something new.
Cozy rustic atmosphere, good food. BYOB. Overall a nice date night for me and my husband.
Simply outstanding! We were 4 diners and very morsel was yummy!
Went with friends for Saturday evening dinner. Our reservation was seated on time. There was a troubadour in the corner near the door which made casual conversation challenging. Perhaps if we were seated further from the live entertainment hearing each other would not have been a problem. The service was excellent. The hostess, waitress, and dining room staff were attentive, informative, and unobtrusive. We ordered 3 appetizers, 4 entrees, and 2 of the same dessert. 2 of the 3 apps were served cold which was not expected since they weren't listed that way on the menu. Roasted squash with barley shouldn't be cold. The dinners were tasty but not in any way exceptional aside from presentation. The dessert was a chocolate sampler including, ice cream, cake, flourless torte, and some other items. It was frozen. We had difficulty cutting it to eat.
If one of the 3 courses were sub-standard I would give them a pass. All 3 were in one way or another average or less than.
Wonderful evening at the Media Jazz Festival.
Thanks for presenting the marvelous Andrea Carlson!
The carrot soup, chicken breast and the roast duck was amazing!
The wait service was exemplary.
Thanks so much!
Excellent food as usual and a great price because if the restaurant week prix fix menu!
Beet cake was delicious and the carrot and coconut milk soup was excellent.
We met friends we hadn't seen in a while. It was restaurant week and the 3 course menu at $45 a person was fabulous. The choices were plentiful, large portions and very interesting, The beet cake and flatbread appetizers were superb. We tried various second courses- carrot coconut soup, potato salad, tofu stack and all were delicious. Our entrees were also great- duck breast, mussels and clams, salmon - cooked amazingly perfect. We enjoyed the food and the byo aspect. Hadn't been here in a while and will definitely return.
Our meals were excellent! Interesting and diverse menu, well prepared food by a chef who can
deliver. One of the best meals we've had in Media. Would definitely go back. Friendly, knowledgeable and attentive waitress
The only minor complaint was the live music. While he was very good, the place is too small
to have live music. For the tables in the front, it's as if the musician is sitting with you, singing and playing, while you are carrying on private conversations and eating your meal.A little off putting.
We wanted a restaurant that provided local fresh produce and high quality food. This place delivers. The food was exceptionalz
Food was excellent! Really outstanding! The salads were fresh and big enough to share. The salmon was perfect, steak was prepared correctly and the flounder was amazing! The service was excellent, all staff friendly and knowledgeable. The live music was not our taste and was a little loud since we were trying to catch up with friends but overall still a great atmosphere. All in all the check was reasonable too! We will definitely return, thanks Lotus!
Great hidden gem in Media
Excellent food
The atmosphere was wonderful, and the food was great
My friends and I enjoyed our experience at Lotus Farm to Table. The food was excellent and the service was great. Seating was a little tight and it was noisy. The decorations were interesting and appropriate. I would go again.
There were 4 of us and we were all disappointed in our meals. Scallop dish was primarily potatoes, pork loin was supposed to be cooked medium but was dry, tough, and fatty. The one unisex bathroom sink handle was broken. Thought is was overpriced and will not return.
