The food and service were exceptional. Love the atmosphere and the smell of a wood burning grill. The food has a very authentic flavor. The atmosphere is fun and inviting and can be as casual or elegant as you like. The wait staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. A must try.

My husband and I were married here 5 years ago and they have done some expanding as well as remodeling. Defiantly worth it! Be sure to check it the farm shop as well

OK food was accompanied by an unnecessarily harried wait staff which was slow, error prone and frankly not up to the task.
They did discount the meal, but overall not worth the trip and the cost.

Los Poblanos has gone a great job with the look + feel of the restaurant. I believe Campo just opened it doors so I took that into consideration when evaluating the restaurant, but I will still relay the facts. We had a reservation for 11am and were not seated until 11:40am. The hostess wouldn’t make eye contact and was running away from everyone who was inquiring about their reservation/the wait. When we were finally seated, our waitress was nice enough but she too wouldn’t make eye contact and seemed to disappear for a while. I ordered the breakfast burrito and it was mediocre (there’s lots of competition for great BBs in ABQ so I’m a tough sell). My friend ordered the vegetarian option & said it was delicious. My husband had to ask three different waitpersons for a knife and I wouldn’t say the food was displayed in a particularly special way. Overall, I’ve given Campo three stars. I hope they can improve with time, but the setting of the restaurant, along with the styling, is lovely.

I made a reservation for 10:30 a.m. to celebrate a friend's birthday. Our party of 3 was seated at a table about 11:00. The restaurant was jammed!! Tables had been repositioned to accommodate a large party requiring servers and patrons to duck under a hanging lamp. Our server was pleasant and helpful. It took quite a while to get our orders, but the food was outstanding!! Fresh, inventive, and delicious. I waited for 15 minutes after the check was delivered for our server to return. Then I headed to the front and tracked her down behind the bar. If you have plenty of time, the food and ambience are great!

Excellent service & extraordinary food in the stunning ambience of the original Simms Estate. Well done to the Rembe Family as they continue to not only preserve, but enhance this landmark estate / Inn in the Village of Los Ranchos.

I visited briefly and had breakfast at the restaurant Campo last week. While the lavender wasn't in bloom, the farm has a peaceful atmosphere and definitely worth the drive. I had a delicious farm omelette, pumpkin bread and cappuccino and was served by very helpful staff. I also recommend a visit to the store next door to stock up on the amazing lavender lotions, soaps and other products. I would love to come back and stay at the Inn when the lavender are in bloom - I'm sure that would also be amazing to experience.

We were three ladies celebrating a 75th birthday and this was the choice for breakfast before heading to a spa day. It was difficult to find the restaurant (no signs) that served breakfast but once seated, the server was great (Jacob). However, the Eggs Benedict had ham so tough you could not cut it with a knife, the veggies were overdone and hardly any Hollandaise sauce. The blue corn french toast was tough and not enough syrup, etc. Coffee was good but for an average price of $19.00 per breakfast, it was overrated. Ambience is great and the surrounding farm area is beautiful. We are from Corrales (locals) and found Los Poblanos breakfast way too pretentious for the area.

Unfortunately, this experience at LP was disappointing. It was the first time we had been there since the opening of the new restaurant facility. It was extremely noisy, the food was lukewarm and overall, the experience was overpriced as well. Too bad. We loved the old ambiance and the food was excellent in the past.

Campo is a wonderful addition to Los Ranchos and Greater ABQ. The property is a jewel for this area. The new restaurant is beautifully decorated and stays true to the character of the farm and this area. The kitchen, which is in full view, is shiny clean and fascinating to watch the efficiency of the chefs. Bravo Chef Jonathan. The food was amazing. Every dish for our brunch was outstanding. Plus, cappuccinos, lattes or espressos and fresh squeezed apple and orange juice. A stop in the Farm Shop next door is a must. Bravo to the Rembe family for making this an outstanding place.

First time at the new restaurant Campo for breakfast and can't wait to go back. It just gets better and better at Los Poblanos. The new breakfast menu is surprisingly varied, vegetarian friendly and beautifully presented. One could spend less for breakfast elsewhere but the whole package cannot be beat of the drop dead gorgeousness of the farm, the building and the stellar staff.

Best breakfast in New Mexico! My colleague and I had the cazuela: carve adovada, eggs, sautéed greens, & potatoes. With red Chile, of course. Delicious!

We booked a room as well as dinner and breakfast reservations at Los Poblanos as part of our 50th Anniversary celebrations. Overall, our experience was outstanding. We'd been to Los Poblanos a number of times before for community events, but we'd never stayed overnight or sampled the restaurants.

Our dinner was excellent. It included duck rillette appetizer, lemon herb chicken and baked manicotti entres, and tres leches cake and pinon tart for dessert. Every dish was beautifully prepared and presented, every dish was delicious, and every dish was accompanied perfectly. We couldn't have been happier with our dinners. Surprisingly, our desserts were complimentary because of our anniversary. It was a very nice touch.

The only bobble was with the check which somehow included a number of dishes we didn't order; our server promptly corrected the error, and there were no other problems.

We highly recommend dining and staying at Los Poblanos -- for special occasions or just as a get away from the ordinary. Matt Rembe and his staff have done a wonderful job, and the new accommodation wings are a treat.

Wonderful menu & food but it was our anniversary & it was way over booked & totally chaotic.
Not the romantic meal we wanted. (It took 2 hrs for our food to arrive.!)
Sad because its a wonderful Inn with History & Beauty.

Los Poblanos's new restaurant Campo is a wonderful addition to our Albuquerque community - it is very busy and highly sought after. Get a reservation in advance! The setting is lovely. We are thrilled to have this restaurant and Chef Jonathan Perno "open up" the Inn as a way to welcome the community and guest in a lovely historic setting. The new kitchens are absolutely amazing and well worth a tour. Los Poblanos clearly has an opportunity to be a major destination resort for cooking aficionados and cooking school classes.
The service was excellent once we were seated; but we had over a 20 minute wait for our table.
Noise in the restaurant, when it is full and even when it is not, is very loud. The newly renovated space is lovely, but the noise level is so loud that it can be difficult to talk to the guests at your table - so something needs to be done to soften this noise and reverberation.
Finally the food. The baked goods/pastries and the aquafresca when we dined were just outstanding. The breakfast food was variable; generally very good. Some minor complaints on the eggs benedict (the ham slice - while tasty, was dry and just too thick for eggs benedict - it was hard to eat and the hollandaise was too thick; yet the addition of the vegetables to the dish brought excellent and interesting new flavors). My friends loved the French toast and the breakfast sandwich, but the cazuela was a little flat - it is missing something in the spicing and the blue corn tortilla needs to be treated in a different way.
Overall amazing - we will be back and look forward to the evolution of this great place.

We loved our time at Los Poblanos. It is hard to find such quality! Canola oil (if you do the research you'll find that it originated from genetically modified plants) and organic just don't mix & they were generous in their providing organic EEVO for me. Not easy to find!
We loved the quiet and the aesthetic environment & we truly appreciated our server, Carlos, who was kind, attentive and an excellent listener! We will be back!!

We began our lunch reservation in great consternation because we followed the signs to the "restaurant" only to find it deserted and dirty, and then walk around sort of aimlessly until we found someone to ask "where is the restaurant...that's not it" who said it was now in a "huge" new building "on the other side". We finally found it, or rather it's back door, since it wasn't marked, and were told the other restaurant was for dinner only. A sign or two in the parking area saying lunch or brunch or breakfast with an arrow pointing to the new restaurant was all it would have taken to start our visit off nicely. They have had the new facility open 2 weeks and that is just a very long time not to get the signs installed! So, we arrived at the reservation desk frustrated and confused. Then, it became apparent that there was no lunch whatsoever, only a breakfast menu, even though we had made a "lunch" reservation on line. There could easily have been some indication on the website or at Open Table that only breakfast was being served at the time for which we made our reservation. (11:30 am why was it called a "lunch" reservation???) This was a second bad experience..and in only the first 20 minutes. Then, two in our party declined coffee and ordered tea instead...but we had to chase down the server in order to get it 10 minutes after the coffee was poured, because our order was clearly forgotten. So, this was a very unsatisfactory experience. With just a little fore thought they could do a lot better. We were hosting out-of-town guests on their first visit to New Mexico, and we and they were sorely disappointed.

We've been to Los Poblanos twice for breakfast - they recently finished constructing their new restaurant area and farm shop which are lovely. The food is fresh and the menu interesting, however the service was inconsistent. The servers are all very nice and knowledgable, but it was busy and perhaps they were overwhelmed. We had to ask two or three times for a side of green chile and also the order of toast that one member of our party ordered. Not a big deal. Its a beautiful property. I'd love to stay there sometime.

Campo at Los Poblanos' menu is amazing. Every dish was incredible and very beautifully presented. Our waiter James was attentive at all times, and very friendly. Although we had expected them to be in their new space, we decided it was a good reason to go back. The dining room now is small and became loud with guests and neighbors, but it was a lively scene. The wine list was one of the best in town and we had an incredible bottle of 2012 Jordan cabernet. This is a real gem for Los Ranchos and guests who come far and wide. We'll be back.

We arrived after dark and could not find the restaurant .... and when we did we wandered in via the patio.
Once we were redirected everything went smoothly. We sat in a living area sipping champagne with lavender and were seated just a few minutes after our reservation time. Our server literally made the evening- strawberry blonde lady from Alaska - knowledgeable / great personality / impeccable service. I am vegan. I had called ahead and although the message was not forwarded the chef presented me with a delicious dinner. My husband said his dinner was delicious and everything I saw being served around me was a work of art.
Definitely want to go back, spend a couple of days relaxing... and soak up the lavender...

I have been here before for dinner and it was amazing--impeccable food and service--but the brunch was a mess. We had a reservation but waited almost half an hour past the time to be seated. I ordered a decaf americano and the waitress left, only to come back and tell me I'd have to have a french press instead (not really the same thing at all) since I guess she didn't realize they didn't have decaf espresso. The wait staff kept bringing food and drinks to the outside patio where we were but was so confused about the tables and kept trying to deliver things to the wrong people. And the food was just ok. Granted, it was balloon fiesta weekend, so I understand they were busy. But for the price and what I was expecting based on my dinner experience there last August, I was completely disappointed and am considering cancelling the birthday brunch reservations I made for my mom.

We thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of dining at Los Poblanos, from the champagne in the courtyard, to the hostess. Waitress, wine server, hors d'oevres, main course and dessert, everything was delectable and delicious with the most pleasant ambiance around. I was very impressed. And breakfast the next morning was just as wonderful.

This was our second visit for dinner service. Our waiter was knowledgeable and attentive. Our appetizers and entrees were exquisite! Truly, as a Chicago native I have eaten in some of the best restaurants around and Los Poblanos has been one of my favorite experiences of all time. I do have to say that the kitchen was moving slowly on this visit. It took 30 minutes to get our appetizer and an hour after that to get our entrees... but even that didn't hinder the experience. We enjoyed fresh baked bread during the wait and our server kept a presence at our table so we knew we hadn't been forgotten! I will be returning many, many more times!
