Situated in the Newington area of Edinburgh, Los Argentinos is an Argentinian Steakhouse and Grill restaurant. The restaurant’s farm house like interior is embellished with rustic décor elements and dominated by earthly brown tones. The place was ok. Food was good. very loud party of people next to us. Staff just barked the order when it arrived and kept repeating it. " Nachos? ....Nachos. Nachos..." Maybe work on customer service and would be five stars.

Found this restaurant from Trip Advisor, took a punt, as a bit out of the way from where we were staying. All about the food, we both had steak rump and fillet cooked to perfection, as we are fussy. Very good value for money.

While the decor could do with an upgrade...the food was very good. The sides (chips, baked potato and corn on the cob) were pretty standard (fine), while the steak was 5*...we had a sirloin, a rump, a fillet and the pincho (kebab) all cooked differently and all absolutely excellent. The beef was tender, flavoursome and good value for the quality. Also, the chimichuri sauce was out of this world and went so well with the meat...which we learned had been cooked in chimichuri oil. The service seemed to be one guy on his own but he was attentive and chatty and clearly loves the food he is serving. The wine was pretty good too. A surprise hit.

Easy booking with opentable, easy to find and access from the center , staff friendly, quick service, good food, juicy steak. We have no luck, seat near of a geuop of 8, very noisy during the diner. Avoid the table in entry near of the kitchen: lot of smoke . We will come back no problem.

We had dinner here on Sunday 17 th February 2019. There were five of us and we all had starters and mains. The starters were delicious and the mains 4 steaks and one ribs were cooked to perfection. I thought the service was excellent and was very impressed with our waiter. He was attentive without being intrusive and I was particularly impressed when I asked for his opinion on the wine he suggested we try a taste the house Malbec before ordering the more expensive Malbec. We will be back

Great service, great food, great value!! Not many in the restaurant as it was Burns Night & a South American meal’s hardly traditional. Would have understood if they wanted to usher us off quickly to go out and celebrate but quite the opposite- couldn’t do enough for us 👌😂 🇦🇷 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿
