About Permanently Closed - Los Amigos
This restaurant is permanently closed. Celebrating 40 Years of Serving our Customers!!! Thank You
Since 1976 Los Amigos has been offering the area's best Mexican & Southwestern style cuisine. As times change, so do tastes & today, “Mexican Food” has become very fragmented. Consequently the term “Mexican Food” means different things to different people.
Over the years, Los Amigos has dramatically grown from offering tacos and enchiladas (although still a very important part of the menu) to creative & complex fare as well as Southwestern inspired menu items. These dishes are in part the result of research & development through consulting with chef/authors as well as the superb culinary education that our chefs have received.

Los Amigos - Permanently Closed Ratings and Reviews
It has been a while since I have eaten at Los Amigos and sad to see that it hasn't maintained it past excellence. The portions were very small, right down to the free chips and salsa. Our waitress Amanda was great but we were sad to hear that this restaurant is closing after 41 years. Perhaps that's the reason for the decline in excellence.
The service was great but my appetizer was pretty bad, I feel like I taste some cheese whiz in there which I hope wouldn't be an ingredient with that order. I forget what it was called but I feel like there was no pork in there and I believe I paid extra for that.
This was our first time at the restaurant. We went on a Saturday night and was surprised how quiet it was. The waiter seemed extremely annoyed when we did not order alcohol but asked for more water. The menu selection seemed limited compared to a lot of the other local Mexican restaurants. The food arrived extremely fast and was warm at best. Didn't seem like it was made fresh for us but was waiting for whoever ordered it next. We had been seated, served our food, and given the check within 20 minutes. While this may be great for some people, we just felt like we were being rushed out. Food was ok. Not great, not bad. Didn't seem worth the price though.
We were there on Friday, St. Patty’s day. The food was good, I ordered tacos just didn't like the beef. It was sorta like sloppy joe kind of beef mix. The chicken one was GREAT! The guacamole is OUTSTANDING so much so ww needed to reorder. I've been going here for years. The place is clean, the staff is friendly and we were seated immediately in time for our reservation. I must add that our server was new and SHE WAS FANTASTIC! Very sweet, and very attentive. The busboy was AWESOME too!! Can't wait to return!
Los Amigos was very crowded this night. We are so glad we made a reservation on open table. We bypassed the line and were seated immediately. Considering the crowd, we never felt rushed and the service was good, someone always checking in if anything was needed.
Complimentary salsa and chips were delicious, as were the appetizers. We were feeling so happy we finally tried the restaurant and it was so good. But then the entrees came and they were just...okay; a little disappointing, really, after having such great starters. It's like the appetizers and entrées came from two separate restaurants. Homemade and fresh vs. everyday run of the mill Mexican food with nothing special to it.
Another good visit to Los Amigos. The staff is friendly and very resposive. The food is very good and the options are extensive. The atmosphere is good for family and friends and I love their specialty margaritas. My only knock is the food is a little expensive for Mexican in my opinion.
This used to be our favorite Mexican place. They changed the menu and the enchiladas were just ok. I used to love them. Our margaritas were inconsistent. First round was fabulous then the second were terribly bitter. Our waitress did her best to accommodate our requests.
