Love this restaurant, food is always amazing.
Outstanding, authentic Nothern Italian cuisine. I highly recommend it, and can’t wait to go back!
We had out of town guests who wanted the best Toasted Ravioli in town. You did not disappoint—it was delicious! Our wine, entrees and the service was great, except that we had to ask for more coffee. I would like to see a larger dessert menu, but other than that, we had a wonderful evening and will return.
A lovely, quiet evening for a business meeting. The wine list has some excellent bottles; we took an excellent Brunello that matched our food choices. The server offered to decant, and it was done with aplomb. The pasta was exceptional. We finished with made-to-order cannoli and homemade stracchiatella gelato.
Fantastic food and service. Never had a bad meal, best salads in town and the seafood linguine is a family favorite. The Restaraunt itself is extremely clean. Beautiful and clean
Delicious risotto! And the breadsticks--so crunchy and flavorful. Excellent old-fashioned, as well.
This was a great dining experience. The food was outstanding and the service was beyond five stars.
First time eating here. I took a friend for his birthday. The food was great! The waitress was very friendly and made great recommendations. We went on a Wednesday so it wasn't very crowded so I can't offer much about the experience other than the food, cocktail I ordered and the prices were very reasonable for the portions you get. I would certainly recommend it to my friends and family.
Portions are huge. Delicious.
My husband and I were in St. Louis for a weekend trade show. He used to live there and remembered the great Italian cuisine of The Hill. I spotted a billboard for Lorenzo’s Trattoria on our train ride from the airport, and then we heard a man raving about it in our hotel bar. We made easy reservations through OpenTable and took a rideshare to the restaurant arriving a few minutes early. We were seated immediately. I’m so glad we made reservations because the place was packed! We shared a half bottle of wine and enjoyed the yummy bread, bread sticks and spread while reviewing the menu. I wasn’t that hungry and had been watching the HUGE plates being served to other tables, so we opted to share the house salad...it was delish! I chose the grilled shrimp scampi appetizer as my meal. The shrimp was lovely with white beans, arugula, roasted pepper and aioli. It was so good and just enough to leave room for creme brûlée and coffee for dessert. My husband chose the portabella mushroom tortellini and was very happy with his choice eating every morsel. He enjoy pistachio Spumoni for dessert. The food is awesome! The service is impeccable. May was our waiter, but we received service from the owner, back waiters, and others. Do watch carefully because the staff is so plenty and on the ready to serve you, they sometimes want to clear your plate before you’re finished! We will definitely go back if we’re in St. Louis again.
The food and service are top notch. Our waitress May was very professional, helpful, and funny. She really made the evening relaxed and enjoyable. The food was outstanding, as usual. We would highly recommend and will be going back soon.
Lorenzo’s is our favorite restaurant on The Hill. We live about 2 hours away so we don’t get there as often as we’d like, but it’s our go to place when we do get to St. Louis. We’ve introduced several friends to Lorenzo’s and will continue to do so. Food is always excellent, staff are great, and we love everything about it. My husband is especially fond of the Gorgonzola cheese/butter and breadsticks.
Great Italian birthday meal for my mom and dad. A St Louis favorite.
We were celebrating a birthday which turned out great. Everyone raved about the dishes and the service was fast and friendly as well!
This was our first time at Lorenzo’s and we were very happy! Jennifer was an attentive server who took great care of everyone in our party of six. We brought our own wine and the corkage fee was very reasonable.
Highly recommend Lorenzo’s for an enjoyable meal that is delicious and a great value!
All enjoyed the food immensely. 9 different dishes, all wonderful!
Whenever I am in St. Louis, I like to try a different restaurants on the Hill. This experience has been the best so far. Despite a full house, the service was personable and efficient. I had the Veal Piccata which was the best I have had anywhere. My dining companions had different types of Risotto which they savored and took home a large leftover portion. The atmosphere is warm and comfortable. This is not a secret so be certain to make reservations!
I highly recommend Lorenzo's. It is a classic example of good Italian food on the Hill. Service, food, and ambience was excellent. Would definitely go back to this gem of a restaurant.
Great medal. Goat cheese ravioli appetizer was awesome. Special of the day pasta was good too. Loved the laid back atmosphere.
It was my first time at Lorenzo’s. The waitress was great. I just didn’t like where we were sitting. It was in the middle of tbe restaraunt. The food was good also.
Great service and food.
Very good as always.
Always great food and service. We love coming here for dinner.
Great meal and service. The food was great and our service was very good. One of the best places we have eaten on " The Hill "
Wow! Great Italian cuisine done right. The server was a neighborhood guy who directed us to the right things to order
Always a great dinner and this visit did not disappoint. Seafood risotto was a hit along with the chicken speidini.
The food was absolutely delicious! Loved the linguine!
Celebrated a belated Valentines Day dinner. Have been coming here for years and always lives up to its reputation for fine food. Had the osso bucco and risotto and the sea food risotto. Both were excellent. The wait staff were very well versed on menu options and offered help on wine selections. All in all a very good evening and we will be back once more
Valentines Day Dinner
I truly have never had a bad meal here.
Excellent all around.
Our dining experience was very good. My wife had the seafood pasta and I had the Chiecken Spiedini which was fantastic. This was our second time at this restaurant and we really enjoyed ourselves.
Thank you to Lorenzo's for making my husbands 60th birthday so special. We were placed in the Board Room for privacy. The food was fabulous, price is right and service was excellent! This restaurant is a hidden treasure and we highly recommend for just a night out, special occasion or whatever your occasion may be.
Service, ambiance, and food was mediocre. Compared to the other restaurants on the hill, I would not choose this.
At at Lorenzo’s with a group of 14 for a reunion. Called ahead to reserve one of their private rooms and booked it at no extra charge! The service was excellent in the private room and felt extremely personal. Everyone had great food and drinks and felt completely separated from the main dining area of the restaurant. Will absolutely go back and would recommend for group events.
We were served cold bread with cold packaged butter. Normally, I would expect to be served olive oil with hot bread. Our main dishes were good. However, the bread pudding was just Ok. I probably wouldn’t recommend this place for a special occasion.
We went to Lorenzo’s for my son’s birthday. The food was delicious and the service was great! They brought my son a sundae with a candle. We will go back soon
The food was good , as was the ambiance! However, we had a reservation for 12 people and told them we we’re celebrating my father’s 80th birthday. Instead of offering a free dessert for booking our event w them, without telling us, theycharged for bringing a cake, $24.00 !! They didn’t mention we would be charged and all the candles were burned down to the bottom by the time the cake came so the specialty candles weren’t visible at the presentation. If you’re gonna charge for bringing out the cake , make sure you light the candles righ before presenting! Do it right for 24$. That was an unfortunate, unexpected and disappointing end to our meal.
Lorenzo's is our go to special occasion place. The food and service are always outstanding and they offer dishes that are unusual, not just the usual Italian menu.
