Tastes just like being in Italy Having gelato made in the neighborhood is a bonus
Great food. Very crowded so a bit noisier than usual. Waiter a bit too casual for the atmosphere
I am sooo happy as I get back out post COVID to see the menu hasn’t changed and remained exceptional if not better!! We missed them! They Exceeded my expectations-Bravo to Lornezos!!!
Wonderful food and service. Are outside had appetizers meals and deserts and everything was excellent. Would go again for sure.
Birthday . The evening couldn’t have been any better. We go to Lorenzo’s a lot
wonderful food, wide menu should make anybody happy, great service
Nice place. Friendly service. Average Food. Most the food was over cooked. Let the chef know the sausages should not be black all the way through.
Great pasta & pizza! Highly recommend the bread pudding as a dessert- probably top 2 I’ve ever had! Jim was. Wonderful waiter. Lovely staff.
It was a just average Italian restaurant. Decor was very nursing home'isnh but comfortable. Everyone was nice. Seemed like this was the servers first serving job so, I gave a lot of slack in serving. Now for food. The mussels were "slippery" to eat. Sauce had good flavor but the menu didn't describe what was in the center of the bowl. Polenta? The arancini were thick and lacked a little something, dry. Tasted pre fried then refrigerated, to only be baked when ordered. Osso bucco had good flavor and was tender. Risotto was done well and sauce was perfect.
Now, I highly recommend everyone stay away from the Seafood Risotto. Tasted like Chef Boyoardy with frozen small seafood and extremely over done risotto. Pasty and wished I didn't order it as I ate it. I could have asked for some else but it was eatable. Now, it could have been amazing with risotto cooked right with a cream mushroom sauce and fresh seafood of noticeable size.
We didn't bother staying for dessert.
We were tired rom playing in a Pickleball tournament all day and decided to show up 2 hours before our reservation and see if we could get sat and go back o our room and crash.
The staff was willing to accommodate and we had a great meal.
This is a classic St Louis (on The Hill) restaurant that never fails to please. Excellent food, attentive service, and a special atmosphere. We go out of our way to eat there.
And soak up all The Hill has to offer.
Show up and they didn’t have our reservation, said there was an issue with Open Table. Gnocchi was very good, but there was way to much red sausage which was more like tomato paste. Chicken Spideni was good but had a lot of juice covering the whole plate to almost the brim. We do like this restaurant, but not as happy this time around
A neighborhood favorite. Perfect patio night with co-workers. Food was outstanding.
I was a little worried coming out of the pandemic that service would be a challenge. I was wrong. Our server was incredibly attentive, polite and knowledgeable. The piece of the meal was perfect. The food, as always, was excellent.
I’ve been going to Lorenzo’s for 20 years! I think that says it all!!!
We always have the best service at Lorenzo's. This time just as good. However the food wasn't as visually appealing as it always is. My spaghetti not the same as in the past, a little too tart on the sauce. My guest for dinner had a grilled beef special (like a tenderloin) and the amount of pepper on the outside was just too much (we sent it back). I love this place. This time is was just a little off. We will be back!
Great food at a reasonable price
Law School Graduation
Great food, good service.
Need to train bus people to properly approach table and retrieve dishes
My kids were impressed we celebrated Mother’s Day at a “fancy” restaurant. My son loved the appetizer we had never tried, the pizza was amazing, everything we tried was so good. Bar service was the fastest I have ever had and our waitress was sweet. Service was top notch. My kids are ready to be taken back, as am I. First place we have tried on the Hill and loved it!
Excellent entree. Appetizer was ok. Excellent decor. Staff was friendly and attentive, but I did not get the beverage I ordered
Great time, great food
Food was great, Jim delivered great service and we love the place. It is our go to restaurant on the Hill. Stop by you will be glad you did.
Lobster ravioli appetizer special was amazing, as was the beef tenderloin. Sat outside on a beautiful evening.
We ate outdoors, and couldn't have been much better. The server (Kelly?) was brilliant. She was the perfect blend of attentive, accurate, helpful, friendly - and still gave us space to enjoy the time with our friends, without being "too attentive". The food on-point, served hot and timely, in ample portions, for a reasonable price.
Both couples live in Kansas City, and were in STL visiting friends who live 1/2 block away on Daggett. But I'm sure we'll be back, next time we're in town. There are many options on The Hill, and I've tried several of them. This was my favorite overall experience. Highly recommended for locals and visitors alike.
Dinner at Lorenzo's always guarantees delicious food and excellent service.
We went to Lorenzo's for our wedding anniversary and it was a great choice. I had the halibut special and it was cooked perfectly. Hubby had a pasta dish that was delicious. Good wine list to complement the menu too. Great evening with great food and service!
We ordered the shrimp scampi, house salad and spending. Excellent
Absolutely a great meal. Best all around restaurant in along time
Food was great and lot of it
Service was outstanding
A great night out
Wonderful gem we discovered while visiting St. Louis.
Great food drink and service. What else could you want?
Overall very good dining experience.
Food and service was simply spectacular.
Food was so delicious! Service was excellent!
The best gnocci ever! Worth driving to St. Louis for!
