Patio dining is second to none. Service was good but not great for this price point. Food was also very good, however, I have had better steaks at the high end traditional steakhouses in town

Since Lon's has new owners, there is a significant decline in food quality as well as service. I asked for water with lemon and had to ask for the lemon again 3 more times. When they brought the lemon, my water glass was less than 1/4 full and they didn't offer to refill it. I had the chicken caesar salad, and the chicken was too dry to cut. It is still a lovely place, but needs more attention to detail.

By the way, this was on a Sunday afternoon at 1:30 p.m. The patio was busy but inside the restaurant where we were there were very few diners.

Enjoyed a wonderful meal inside. Five of us had different entrees, and both beef and pork were perfectly prepared. The ambiance is authentic western in an historic setting.

It was a bit cool to sit outside for us so we had a great booth inside. Our server was so pleasant and helpful! Food was delicious as always. The birthday dessert that was brought to the table was soooo good. We never felt rushed and enjoyed the food and ambiance greatly. It was perfect to celebrate a birthday -- and several others in the room were celebrating as well. Lon's is always a favorite place to dine -- anytime and for any occasion.

For Valentine’s Day, I made reservations at Lon’s for my wife and me. I was hoping it would be warmer and sunny but, as it happened, it was damp and rainy so we were forced to eat inside. It was also Ash Wednesday, so our diet was limited to fish. We had Fish and Chips. It was tasty. The highlight of our meal was our server, Milenko! He was the best. He was cordial, responsive and a sheer delight.

Perfect romantic place to be on Valentines Day. The cozy fireplace got us over our disappointment about not sitting on the patio because of pouring rain instantly.

Funny. Made a valentine day reservation through open table. On the day of the reservation open table app would not let me cancel so I called the restaurant and they had no record of the reservation. I’m sure glad we couldn’t go!

We had our early Valentine’s Day dinner the night before the holiday (as we like to do each year) and the meal, service and ambiance were wonderful! The food was excellent and the bread selection was the best we’ve had in many years! The service was delightful and we were not rushed at all. The “medium”on my husband’s filet was medium rare but he enjoyed the flavor. We will definitely return again for another celebration.

We also enjoyed the beautiful flowers and manicured grounds.

This was for an early Valentines lunch – the pastrami was overcooked and very fatty. Unusual for Lon's- we've been there several times before and always had excellent food

For my wife and I, and a visitor from the East Coast, this could have been a memorable meal. The restaurant is beautiful. The service, with one notable exception, was quite good. The food, with one notable exception, was excellent. The management's decision-making, when it mattered, was regrettable. All was perfect until the entrees arrived. I had asked the waiter whether he'd recommend the short ribs ($34) or the filet mignon ($42). He suggested the former. It is almost impossible for short ribs to be tough and dry. But they were. It is all but unheard of for short ribs to be tasteless. But they were. The manager offered to fetch me a filet. I agreed, though I grumbled that it would arrive well after my companions had finished. Which it did. The filet was quite good. But as I ate and my companions watched, the waiter whisked away one of their wine glasses even though there was wine left in the very nice bottle of Tempranillo. When I was finished, we had no intention of ordering dessert. But the waiter announced that the manager would give us a complimentary dessert for the inconvenience. Then came the bill. They actually charged $42 for the filet, which replaced the inedible $34 short ribs. It's not the $8 I mind, really. It's the shortsightedness of that decision. Even at Lon's, repeat business = success. If I were the manager, I would have comped the entree because the three of us didn't really get to share a meal because, on a Monday night, the kitchen was not at its best. Not my fault. But I paid for it.

Anniversary. The staff totally made it special it was awesome love the whole experience. Everything was fantastic except my entrée Chilean sea bass. Maybe on Monday mistake to order fish. Chef probably should have suggested against it. It was very fishy and overl cooked possibly to overcompensate for it not being fresh. Surprised that chef would serve that. When we went to the bar to have a after dinner drink we set our wineglasses down and went to the bathroom by the time we got back our wineglasses were gone probably our mistake. We had an after dinner drink in the cozy setting by the fireplace still totally incredible and I would go back but if you’re going to call your chef Chef he should rise to the occasion
