                                                                                                      Recently had brunch here and the best word to describe our entire experience is OUTSTANDING! Starting with the initial greeting at the door, the hostess was friendly, professional and engaging! She noticed that I had noted on the reservation that it was a birthday celebration and she asked who was celebrating and provided that person with a lovely birthday card (hand signed by multiple staff!). Now this may seem silly and unnecessary, but it was that simple touch that added to the positive experience. Our server was amazing! He was friendly, asked good questions, provided ideas, and was professionally attentive! Our waters were filled as needed without asking (a simple and easy thing to do that many places seem to overlook). The=he food was perfect! One of us had the croissant smoked salmon Benedict - it was perfect! The croissant was flaky, the egg was just right, the salmon was a very generous portion and the hollandaise sauce was just the right amount! The other 2 dishes were equally delicious. Our meal ended with a surprise birthday dessert that was delicious! Would HIGHLY recommend this place.

                                                                                                      Great dining experience. We ate inside because it was so hot outside but it wasn’t overcrowded. Service and food were excellent. Interesting decor and history as well. Saw the outside space and can’t wait to come back in the winter and eat outside. We had the short rib and filet which was great. The churro tree we had for dessert was also terrific. Highly recommend Lon’s.

                                                                                                      The food was excellent. The only issue was the asparagus was a little chewy. The smoke flavor on the filet mignon was fabulous! Also, the cocktails were wonderful.

                                                                                                      Service was slow, half an hour after we were seated, the waiter finally came over to take our order. We never received bread. At the end of the meal when the waiter was moving our bread plates in front of us to use as dessert plates I said were we supposed to have had bread, he said yes but never apologized for not bringing it. Our water was never refilled until I got up and did it myself.

                                                                                                      Lon’s a special place where you want to take your significant other to impress them or celebrate a special occasion. The service is great and consistent. The dishes are made with care. The ambience in and out of the restaurant is rustic but sophisticated. My wife was impressed and happy and that’s what matters.

The service was fantastic; she had every little detail down. She made us feel very special and welcomed. The food was amazing, again with all the details perfect. We live on the westside of Phoenix and would drive back for dinner anytime.
