    It was a perfect 2 hour lunch on the patio. Krissy was our waiter, pristine! Our meals were delish and Lon's request for supreme weather was granted! :) Oh so lucky us!

    Our service was slow. The food was cold, there were eggshells in my food. Hard to find waitress to get check. Have been there twice before and had wonderful experience. Was very disappointed.

    This was my first time at Lon's. The service was great. Every employee greeted us and was pleasant. One area of improvement could be with seasoning the food. My daughter's steak and husband's duck lacked salt. Another would be to state on the menu that the creme brule is deconstructed. I was expecting an actual tart with the hard sugar top, but we got pieces of everything assembled on a pretty plate.

    We had brunch and it was delicious. The bacon quest monkey bread are superb. The food is always good. The special drinks are good. Emma and Dominique our servers were wonderful . Matthew the manager is always so nice and welcoming.

    Very disappointing experience. Two small pieces of bread for a table. Wagu steak that was tough and not worth the price tag. Desert tiny and not Creme brule...but a made up concoction of teaspoon of custard and a cracker. Experience not up to Lons past experiences

    Our evening was wonderful! Service was superb. Casey was our server & very customer service oriented & helpful. Damien his assistant also very good. Delores at the front desk very nice! The food was delicious and well prepared. a beautiful setting!! thank you, Lon’s!!!

    The food was excellent. We were there on a Saturday night and there was live music. The volume of the music was great. The music was not overpowering and we did not have to shout to hear each other talk. We sat outside and there was basically one heater per table, so no worries on the temperature front.

    This is my second time at Lon’s. The first time was during the summer and I wanted to come back when it was cooler to sit outside. I took my boyfriend here for his birthday and requested patio seating. We were sat outside and server didn’t acknowledge us for quite a while. When he finally came over nothing was mentioned of my boyfriend’s birthday nor did he ask if we were celebrating something. We ordered some drinks and then the server came back around and told us the specials, asked what we wanted for appetizers and then said he’d like to take our order at the same time so “he could clear the menus”. I don’t know what I wanted at that point but felt rushed, I decided on the duck and he didn’t come around for 15 more minutes. By the time he came back around the duck was sold out. So I switched last minute to a pork chop. Not normally a fan of pork chops but figured a place like this could do it for well. Wrong. When the pork chop came out it was absolutely RAW. Again the waiter was no where to be found for some time but when he finally showed up he did appear to be speechless with how raw the pork chop was. He took it back and I changed my mind and moved to the salmon instead. I can’t even begin to explain how gross the salmon was. It was just plain salmon with a blob of BBQ sauce on it. The flavors did not go well together at all! They did remove the pork chop from the bill and brought out dessert and espresso martinis (which was honestly not very great) and honestly I was expecting a dessert for my boyfriend’s birthday based off pictures I’ve seen online yelp anyways. I don’t really enjoy complaining but I just felt the experience both food and service was very poor. The patio and live music was great though.

    First we were seated at a table that was in a puddle of water from a leak in the adjacent fountain. We were moved on request. Upon asking for attention from a waiter, we managed to order glasses of wine. Then upon further inquiry, our wine finally arrived AFTER our salads had been served. My wife specifically ordered a glass of ice to go with her wine, but that did not arrive until mid-meal. Salad was delicious, but the turkey and stuffing entre was very mediocre, dark meat was like stringy”pulled” turkey and stuffing was a soggy mass. My wife specially requested her gravy be on the side—but it arrived poured on top. Our deserts arrived in plastic cups like they'd been pulled from a vending machine. All-in-all we expected MUCH better considering the $105 per person price!

    We love Lon's and have spent many Holidays and special occasions there. My husband and friends thought the Turkey dinner was delicious. I had the steak and it was average and so were the sides. The appetizer and soup were excellent. I had reserved early and ask for a small dining area near the fireplace. We were seated near the side patio and the ambiance there wasn't all that great, they had divided the room off and it felt pretty isolated. The service wasn't bad, we enjoyed a leisurely dinner, but for the price it should have been better, and has been in the past.

    Lon's is a spectacular setting. Usually without flaw. One this night, however, they seemed to be overwhelmed. Service slow and with mistakes and the chicken dish was well well below Lon's standards - dry with some gristle...sort of an elevated McDonald's approach to rolling both breast and thigh meat together into a circle filled with chorizo. sounds like it might be good but it was not.

    The reason to dine here is the outdoors patio, a charming atmosphere that is unmatched in the Valley. The food is good, although the menu could be more extensive. Today the fish and chips luncheon option featured black cod, a quality choice I appreciated. My wife loves the healthy super salad, with salmon.

    The outdoor patio is an experience. Very pretty and serene. The staff made us feel so welcome when they greeted us with a birthday card signed by the staff for my daughter. Had a great breakfast. Pricey for what we ate, as expected.

    Went there for a special occasion. Not a good experience at all. After having been there for over an hour and a half we had just gotten bread and drinks. Appetizer did come out however, it was stone cold and had to be sent back. After the extensive wait, service came by and told us it would be another 15 minutes or so and would we like to wait. We told them that the night/overall experience was now pretty much ruined, and we would like to call it a night. Did not seem to suffice as they oddly kept pressing us to stay even after several times staying that we wanted to just call it a night and head out. We were told they have a new chef and the kitchen was out of sorts. So overall it was a two hour complete waste of time and we left starving. Would not return.

    Gorgeous setting and solid experience overall. Excellent service. We went for brunch. The monkey bread seemed either stale or microwaved. The avocado toast looked like the avocado had browned a bit. It was good, not great. Others in the group got the huevos, the chicken and waffle and the frittata. Thumbs up on all!

    We’ve been to this beautiful location before and enjoyed 5 star meals so (hopefully) all is not lost. Our brunch was a serious disappointment, however, this time around. The service was very poor, seeming to stem from an under-staffing situation - we can’t say for certain - but the truth is that that is not a ‘we’ problem, that is a ‘they’ problem. Regardless, the result was slow service, cold coffee, cold food, incorrect input/order, ZERO follow-up from our waiter when our food was (finally) delivered and painfully slow corrections once we got up and found someone to ask for the corrections we needed. No need to go into great detail about the food. Prepared and plated correctly every ‘recipe’ this restaurant produces is top-notch. My wife considers this to be the place where she has had the best eggs Benedict she’s ever eaten - prior to this visit. Cold muffin and almost 1/2 of the amount of hollandaise expected/needed/typically used here, accompanied by cold potatoes. Fortunately the eggs were warm, I guess… The flavor of my chicken and waffles was outstanding but the dish was plagued by similar problems of differing temperatures and plating inconsistencies. Daughter #1 had avocado toast which was fine/average. Daughter #2 had the turkey sandwich which she did not enjoy, although they did give her ketchup for her side-salad! (Supposed to get fries, which they finally delivered as we were waiting for our check…) This restaurant is capable of great meals but, clearly, not necessarily consistently.

    There is no better restaurant experience in Phoenix! Sit outside under the stars with love music. Food is absolutely terrific! Lydia and the staff are extremely attentive and gracious. Brian the sommelier is the best and their wine menu is full of the best wines on the planet! Do yourself a favor, book this restaurant now, we have had the most amazing dinners each time we arrive.

    Lon’s is my favorite place in the Valley. We dined outside on the patio for dinner. The weather was perfect, the food was delicious and the service was wonderful. The music was just the right volume to hear and yet be able to talk to one another. We’ll be back!

    We were guests of Hermosa Inn and decided to try Lon’s. The atmosphere outside was delightful - the lighting was perfect, music was soft and excellent. While the restaurant was busy the noise level was perfect. The service was professional, personable and relaxed. The food was delicious. There were multiple fish choices - all accompanied with unique tasty sides. The craft cocktail choices were fantastic. Overall I highly recommend Lon’s.
