   A delightful outdoor setting on an otherwise warm day. The food was above average. The salmon entree was excellent. The one sore spot was the time between serving the salad and the entree. It was inexplicable given that we were early birds.

   What an incredible experience for Mother’s Day! We love Lon’s for a nice dinner out, but the Mother’s Day brunch exceeded our expectations. The menu had excellent selections and portion sizes were large for a pre fixe menu. Liberty, our server, was outstanding. This will be a yearly tradition moving forward. Thank you!

   The food was cold, poorly prepared, and extremely under-seasoned. We had to ask for salt for the table, which for a place that is charging over $100/pp, having to ask for salt to compensate for a remarkably bland meal is not acceptable. The open-faced omelette was overcooked and the egg was rubbery. It was under-seasoned again. It came with a fruit medley on the side straight out of a continental breakfast at a holiday inn. This meal was over $600 total for 4 people. To be served an egg white omelette with bland vegetables atop with a side of poorly cut fruit is an absolute insult. The service was unrefined and lazy. We arrive at our table and are immediately greeted with a dirty napkin on the floor as well as a used fork from the table(s) before us. They use linen here, so when these linens are dirty, it is very obvious. It was gross. They did not pick these up at any point throughout the service. They were not exactly hidden either as they were only halfway under the table and I could see the dirty linen and fork before even sitting down at the table. After our first course, we had several empty plates in the center of the table leftover. Our main courses were brought out to our table, set at our table, and then the staff proceeded to walk away without clearing the previous course’s plates, which were clearly empty and in the middle of the table ready to be removed. Our table was cluttered for the entirety of the main course. There were also flies everywhere. Had we been on the patio, this would have been understandable. However, we were sitting deep inside of the restaurant. It was a nuisance and gross. I know that all restaurants charge a “mother’s day” tax, but this is no justification for the complete mediocrity that we experienced across the board. For 4 people: food, 1 drink each, and tip, we spent almost $650.

   I do not pride myself in leaving a negative review but wow, this place REALLY dropped the ball on our Mother's Day celebration. We of course came for the Mother's Day Sunday brunch and it was just one thing after another another another; the food took forever even though we ordered right away, so much so that the first course actually arrived before the amuse. The first course should've been our first clue this wasn't going to go great, the bread pudding was stone hard and simply gross, the avocado toast was tiny so we ordered more bread. Halfway through the meal my son put his crayons in the candle holder, admired the colors coming out of it, and grabbed the holder. I couldn't see his side but shards of glass were broken and sliced the meat of his hand. Blood went everywhere. MULTIPLE PEOPLE, managers, hosts, servers, walked by time and time again as my wife and I tried to wrap it. My wife took my son to the restroom with all the linen to wrap it and she thankfully had a band aid. I finally brought it to the attention of an older lady and she apologized and asked if we needed a band aid, I said no I think we have one and she disappeared. We never saw her or heard anymore about it. Our food finally arrived while my wife was tending to our son, and of course by the time she got back everyone was ice cold, the porkloin was dry and way over done, the salmon & curry was cold, the kids chicken tenders obviously were done hours before and just held in a warmer or something because they were rock hard. But no one seemed to notice or care as most of our food went uneaten or was sent back. Overall a very disappointing experience and memorable in the worst ways & unfortunately not even close to the price tag.

   Lon's is a wonderful place to dine and enjoy the beauty of the grounds. The Food is excellent, and the service is terrific. Looking forward to our next visit.

   Very pricey for the value. Enjoyed our server, aside from her I’ve had better experiences for a better price. Came for Mother’s Day Brunch with a fixed menu, no drink included. All the best, not my first choice.

   The Mother’s Day brunch did not disappoint. Angela was our server and she timed everything perfectly!! Everyone from the valet service to our hostess and wait staff couldn’t have been more helpful. Thank you for a memorable day.

   My beautifully presented prawn was very "fishy" tasting and quite disappointing. The scallop risotto that came with the prawn was delicious. My Lon's salad was delicious. It took FOREVER to remove my salad plate after salad course was eaten, and again took FOREVER to get my entree plate removed. The setting is just lovely and I will go back and hope that the food and service have improved.

    This is worth the extra money for a wonderful night with the one you love. Plan for a sunset dinner and take your time enjoying the ambiance and time with your loved one. Everything else will fall into place. The service is great. One slight downside...don't get up from your table. The fearless birds will find their way to your food.
