A couple of years ago, we had an awesome dinner at this restaurant! We have spent many months in South America and love South American cuisine! Unfortunately our recent visit left us very disappointed.
We ordered the empanadas. They were mostly dough, deep fried and left a greasy aftertaste. In no way did they represent Argentinean, Peruvian or any other South American Country empanadas which were baked in brick ovens. I ordered the Peruvian ceviche made with fish. I was served the ceviche made with shrimp. I tasted it and the sauce was great, but I wanted fish. When it was made with fish, it must have been a different person making it as it was very citrusy....not the way we experienced it in Peru!

Always love this place and this time brought a group of 12 people and was able to secure there upstairs private Sanctuary room. That was special along with the great food and well priced wine. We will be back

Excellent food, we had the Brazilian lamb chops and the shrimp dish. Dip sauce for plantain chips was awesome. Definitely will be back.

Great food, the lamb was phenomenal. Service was a bit slow, the servers were great with our water and plate clearing but our waitress herself seemed to also be tending bar so kept disappearing when we needed her. We skipped dessert for that reason, but would definitely come back and hope they are better staffed.

Good food with lots of variety in style and price range. Staff was very gracious. We had a 6:00 weeknight reservation and it was quiet when we arrived, but really hopping when we left around 8:00.

We have been to this restaurant before and will definitely be returning. Our server was very personable and attentive. The food was wonderful. I have to hold myself back from the plantain "chips" and chimichurri they put on the table as I would have no room for dinner. The salmon was perfectly done. The octopus was tender and flavorful. And, save room for desserts. We tried the plantain, flan, besitos, and Choco-coco-late. What a great end to our meal.

We keep coming back, and we keep bringing friends. The food is truly delicious. It's especially nice to go with 4-5 people, because you can share so many different tastes/small plates. The staff is exceptionally friendly and thoughtful.

We had heard many good things about Longitud315. We also lived in Brazil and were eager to explore Longitud315’s cuisine.

We had a terrific time. The food was excellent. Among our choices were the churrasco, salmon, empanadas, Brazilian stew, and a delicious flan for dessert.

The service was great. The meats and salmon were cooked exactly as we requested.

We will be back!

Definitely, not our favorite highwood restaurant. It is so overpriced for the quality of food and service. It was our second time here. The first was a few weeks after the restaurant opened. We weren't impressed then but thought we give it a second chance. Definitely, no third visit for us

The only disappointment was the dessert pricing, although portions were sufficient, $12.00 price tag is a bit high!

There was a terrible smell in the restaurant. I asked several staff members about it. A few said they did not smell it. One was honest and told me there was a problem in the basement and that they were trying to cover the smell by heating garlic oil. The garlic oil did not do the trick. They should have closed the restaurant or alerted customers that they would be experiencing this problem if they dined there. By the time we left, we had headaches from the smell and it was a relief to step outside.

Outstanding! I have been at Longitud315 five times and the consistency is excellent. Love their food with so much flavor. The arepas, the lamp shops and the pulpo are exquisite. Can wait to go back.

They should not use such heavy room deodorizer at entrance..... many people are sensitive to scents and this one was overpowering. Waited an extra 20 minutes beyond our reserved time. Service was slow and unattentive

we absolutely love Longitude. If trying to keep the cost down we refrain form drinks as they are on the pricey side @ ($12) as well as all deserts (also $12) & not sized that large (even for one person.)

We were promptly seated. Courtesy basket of plantains with a flavorful sauce...think chimichurri meets salsa. We split the roasted pork and skirt steak entrees which were fabulous. Always great flavors here.

We moved away from Chicago about a year ago and we were a frequent visitor. We came back for the weekend and 315 was on our list . Throughly enjoyed our dinner and the smoked mussels are one of our favorites. Our waiter recommended the green beans which was a huge hit . Highly recommend and we will be back

The food, staff, location, and ambiance here are all to perfection. Whether there for business, date night, evening with friends, or even dinner with our family (including two you get kids) the waitstaff always is on point and considerate. The food is second to none. Can not recommend enough. Not to be missed.
