Food was perfect, as always. Brian was our server and was awesome!!!
LD Bistro has a great atmosphere and the waitstaff is top notch. Every bite of my food was excellent, however I was not thrilled with the portion to price ratio. $15 for 2 nachos seems a bit silly and the $15 Charlie Daniels juat tasted like whiskey and water. The desserts are the best value there and were very good.
ALWAYS a great experience and the food is top shelf and ALWAYS cooked to perfection! Our waiter was both informative and very attentive !!! I would HIGHLY recommend this place for a special getaway weekend or evening !
We loved Lonesome Dove! The food was excellent and the table in the back room near the window was lovely! I recommend their signature garlic stuffed tenderloin!! This restaurant is very pricey, so I would only go on a special occasion, but we thoroughly enjoyed it!
Kevin knows how to keep it fresh.
Just great as usual! Cocktails are always made to order and the jalapeño cucumber margarita always brings you back!
The best dining in Fort Worth. Excellent food. Perfect Cowboy ambiance. Wonderful service.
Can I simply have one of every appetizer?
Loved this cozy and elegant spot in the midst of a crazy weekend at the Stockyards. Great craft cocktails, especially the refreshing grapefruit Texas Jewel and the Stockyard Smoker, a cherry-smoked take on an Old Fashioned. Spendy, but worth it for a special occasion.
Fantastic dining experience! Great food and great service. The shaved vegetable salad was one of the bests salads I've ever had, anywhere. We were skeptical based on some poor experiences at several other restaurants in the area, but fortunately we were pleasantly surprised. Good stuff.
The food was excellent. They customize the appetizers for the number in your group so you can try one of each if you like. Had tenderloin and trout. Both dishes were amazing. My husbands favorite was the fried spinach. Unique and delicious. Would eat here again for sure.
Excellent meal! Our server Sedrick was excellent as well! So much knowledge about the menu. A wonderful and unique experience.
My wife and I went here for her birthday and it was amazing! From the appetizers (lobster hush puppies & grilled shrimp) to the second course (butter lettuce salad & chili) to the main course (roasted garlic stuffed beef tenderloin & elk loin), everything was well thought out and delicious. We also enjoyed the Stockyard Smoker and some nice wine on the patio for a beautiful Texas evening. We would highly recommend this place for anyone near the Fort Worth area. I would say this is our new favorite!
We had an amazing time at Lonesome Dove for my husband's birthday. We got to sit out on the new patio and the weather was perfect with a quaint fire below the patio. The wait staff were amazing and they all filled in for each other since it was a very busy night. I would've thought that the many different hands helping out would lead to a disjointed experience but it was the complete opposite. We had all of the wait staff looking out for our drinks, our meal, and our overall experience. It was clear that they all enjoy working there and that they love their jobs. The food was to die for and it's so nice to go to a place that focuses just as much on customer service as they do their food.
Steak was cooked perfectly, very tender and true to portion menu selection...9oz. However, no distinct flavor, kind if plain Jane. Wife’s snapper was excellent. Sharp, distinguished flavor. Fried spinach was marginal. Pom frittes were very good, but not very tart...needed a little more salt. It seemed food and drinks were a little pricey. Would expect to pay in the $125 (including 20% tip) range for two people, but instead spent $155. Overall experience was good, but a long way from great.
This is the best restaurant in Ft Worth hands down.
Lonesome Dove has very attentive service that you use to find only in private supper clubs Food was impeccable.
Excellent food. My wife loved the pozole. My steak was great. Fun place with great food and excellent service.
Outstanding choices. Food experience is off the charts. Incredible service. The Wagyu beef is for real. Don’t miss Lonesome Dove when in FW. You will not be disappointed. I promise!
We went and got seated in a well-lit area near the bathrooms. We were asked what the occasion was, and we told them it was our 20th wedding anniversary (which it was). And a few moments later, without us asking, we were moved to a dimly lit, quieter more romantic spot. Which was very awesome, because I wasn't feeling the other spot. It's almost as if they anticipated my feelings! Several staff came by and congratulated us, and we even got a pre-signed card by the staff. They think of everything ahead of time! After our delicious dinner, as we were waiting for our check, our waitress came and said, "You don't think you were getting away that easy did you!?" And a sparkler, two glasses of champagne, and 4 Mexican cookies with Happy Anniversary written on the plate were given to us! So special! This is the second time we've gone, and the food, ambiance, and service were beyond awesome! Every dish has been so tasty! It's so easy to make a reservation online as well!
I’ve not been to Lonesome Dove for many years and was worried it wouldn’t live up to my past experiences. I was pleasantly surprised. I enjoyed every bite. My steak was perfect, the cucumber/jalapeño margarita was delicious, and the lemon pudding dessert was a sublime surprise- beautiful to look at and heavenly on the tongue. Turned my postponed anniversary dinner with my husband into a magical evening.
We spent another memorable evening at Lonesome Dove. The meal was superb, and the staff made our anniversary celebration very special.
Fabulous lunch. You have to try the prime rib. 16oz for $16!! Ask for Kevin. Friday lunch only.
This is a wonderful restaurant with fabulous food. The rattlesnake and rabbit sausage with goat chees was out of this world. The Tomahawk Steak met every expectation we had for a piece of meat in Teaxas. We will return!
Great place. WONDERFUL STEAKS..!! (By the oz)..👍👍👍👍🌟🌟🌟🌟
Everything about this place was fabulous, thank you Carter for taking care of us.
The food was good though the burger and the stuffed fillet was over salted. Fairly decent value if you go for the lunch menu on Friday or Saturday (or is it Saturday and Sunday)...I went on Saturday. At any rate, the wait staff were very polite and helpful.
One disappointing thing; we went on my son's birthday and said so at the time of the reservation but nothing was said about it by any of the staff. It was a letdown for him.
Awesome experience and amazing food and service
One of my favorites, and I eat all over our great nation and international.
Chef Love, has created great tasting exotic meals.
Everyone I bring, always leaves with the wow factor.
The best Elk sliders, rabbit&raddle snake sausage and boar ribs.
We had a great experience for our first dinner here. We splurged and ordered all four courses and each was quite delicious. Our server, Hillary, was excellent too. Our only negative comment is the noise level but I'm not sure how that could be addressed. A minor inconvenience in the big picture.
We thoroughly enjoyed our belated Valentine's dinner at Lonesome Dove. We ordered a little of everything: cocktails, an appetizer sampler, a salad, traditional Texas chili, the signature garlic stuffed tenderloin, new york strip, brussel sprouts, and the ancho chili cake. The entire meal and service was FANTASTIC, and I would order everything again, except the brussel sprouts - they were uninspiring and almost soggy.
Tomahawk ribeye for 2 was so delicious and a great experience
We were really excited to try this place - we drove all the way from McKinney for a late Valentine’s Day celebration. We were both disappointed. It was not at all worth the price we paid. We got the worst table in the house - had to yell to hear each other. Our waiter did the best with what he could, he was just spread too thin. My fiancée ordered a ribeye medium well and it was brought out still bloody. Like dark red inside. Had to send it back. My potatoes, while perfectly cooked outside, were still hard and mostly uncooked inside. In general, the food was just okay - we could have gotten the same quality at Texas Roadhouse a quarter mile down the road. For a quarter the price. We won’t be back.
This is a yearly event during a business seminar I attend every year. Always consistent and one of my favorites anywhere!
Great date night/late Valentine's dinner place. All the food was excellent, as was the service.
We select a different restaurant every year for a romance Valentine dinner. This year it was Lonesome Dove. This was a very nice restaurant. The atmosphere was perfect. The service was really great. Drink glasses were well maintained. The server was very knowledge of the menu and the daily special. The food was very tasteful. The meat was tender and was cooked to our request. Even with two large groups the room was quiet. We'll be back again.
Excellent service and great food
Could not have been better. Not cheap but delicious. Much tastier than Del Frisco’s or Capital Grille. This was our first time but we will be back!
Went for Valentine's Day. Only serving special vday menu which was fine but wasn't told ahead of time and the options weren't great. Food was average at best. Service was fine. Spent over 300 dollars and wasn't impressed at all. Will not return. Too many great options in town
This is our second Valentine's dinner here and it is again a wonderful experience. Food was great and the service outstanding. We will be back again and again.
