Great food and the best margarita! Great experience. We will return!
This is one of my favorite restaurants anywhere. I’ve been coming here for many years, starting back when Tim Love was in the kitchen regularly. This place has never disappointed.
Great food and atmosphere! We celebrated my husbands birthday and it was all I had hoped for and then some. Thanks for making this a special night!
Our waitress was SPECTACULAR!! she made the visit!!! While she worked expertly with us... she served her other guests equally well!
Sorry I forgot her name... but she even thought us some rough Italian 😂
Thanks for helping my husband celebrate a great birthday 🥳!
Atmosphere was spot on but the food did not impress.
Everything was fabulous as usual
The only complaint was the lack of courtesy on behalf of incoming guests who stand with the door open when the lobby area is crowded instead of giving their name to the hostess and waiting outside until their table is available...WE WERE NEVER ABLE TO TAKE OFF OUR COATS WHILE DINING THANKS TO THEM! What happened to the air lock area on the outside near valet???
Noise is always an issue as well.
Went to Lonesome Dove for my husband’s birthday. It was amazing! Service was great, bartenders awesome! And food was incredible! Highly recommend
Awesome all around from the service as soon as we walked in the door. Food was excellent and out waitor was amazing!!
Great service, excellent food, great wine selection!
This was hands down the best dining experience I’ve ever had. Amazing, get all of the appetizers they will change they way you look at food.
We weren't sure what to expect when we got here except there were really good reviews and the menu looked amazing. The night was better than I could have dreamed. The staff were very accommodating and engaging. They made sure our anniversary dinner was special and just us. The food was fantastic, we had the elk sausage sliders, kangaroo carpaccio nachos, butter lettuce salad, chili, wagyu tomohawk with grilled langostines, and finally the capuccino flan. Everything was phenomenal
Everything was exceptional, from the Valet to the dessert.
Amazing Buffalo rib eye steak
Kangaroo was delicious
Food was not so good for the price it was everything else was great
Great menu for the adventurous! Plenty of space for social distancing. Food was great and service was excellent. Save space for the churros!
The food is always a winner at Lonesome Dove. Expect to pay for it.
Service was great and most of the food was really good. However, we did the tomahawk steak for 2 and for the price it was was 2 stars. Asked for medium rare and it came out very rare still cold in center.
Went here for a lunch date, and was looking forward to dining experience. The service was fine. I liked the Western atmosphere. But the food was unimpressive and left more to be desired for the price and its reputation. The rabbit-rattlesnake sausage appetizer was enjoyable and fun with the Texas flags that adorned the dish. But the Hamachi Tostadas were incredibly small and lacked flavor. I ordered the Prime Rib Sandwich which was tasty; my only recommendation with this dish would be to serve the au jus in a larger cup so that you can dip the sandwich easier. My girlfriend ordered the salmon and cucumber salad but sent it back because she did not enjoy the dijon vinaigrette that flavored the dish. She then order the Texas Chili, but it did not have very much flavor. I also tried the chili and thought it lacked flavor and was watery.
Great meal. We have eaten here before and this was the best service and food we've had.
Food was outstanding!!! Server was not good for the quality of the restaurant and he rushed our meal. Table next to us was trashed drunk and inappropriately loud.
Food is outstanding!
After 15yrs of going here, we now realize that this place is no longer for Us. Its for taking out of town guests or travelers in order to "experience" the stockyards and old Fort Worth. The menu hasn't changed one bit, the prices are too high for the quality you get (not that its bad, just not that $$$$ good) and the servers are snotty (why, I'm not sure .. but been this way the last few times we've been there). The "famous" cucumber / jalapeno margaritas are inconsistent and way over $$ priced. The stockyards has gotten an incredible face-lift recently and will see lots of traffic. I would direct those looking for a great meal, good cocktail, reasonable prices and nice ambience to Provender Hall just around the corner [smoked Beef Rib for Two is Amazing!]. Sorry Lonesome Dove, the original Iron Chef appearance was 14 years ago ... you've run out of gas on that one.
We celebrated our 25th anniversary and it was great! Food was awesome and service was excellent made for a perfect evening.. we will definitely be back.
Delicious! I highly recommend trying the rabbit & rattlesnake appetizer, so good. My first visit I had the buffalo ribeye, it was really great. This visit I had the elk tenderloin, fantastic!! Wonderful restaurant, delicious food, super friendly staff and the ambiance is amazing!
Food was amazing, they really exceeded my expectations. Great customer service! Went with my wife to celebrate our wedding anniversary day. Fully recommended. Definitely coming back!!!
my only concern: My spouse and I had mentioned to the waitress that we prefer our meat cooked medium well to well done. For our appetizer, we ordered the kangaroo nachos (No reference or description of the cooking temperature/preparation by either the staff or on menu) which came out RARE (kangaroo tartar if you will) which we did not enjoy, we voiced our concern and the problem was not corrected, rather a "oh sorry" was what we got from the waitress. So in end, we paid $12 for three individual kangaroo nachos that we could not enjoy.
You are paying for an incredible and unique food experience. The food is unlike anything you will ever have and they are incredibly fresh at that. Wish we could eat here all the time because I so would. Nothing but good things on this place.
Great venue and wonderful service and food. Our waiter was the best I have ever had.
I know it was a busy weekend but..I took friends there for a great experience. It was not.
I would give our experience a 5 star overall rating. The food was off the charts and wine selection was very well put together. The tomahawk steak was cooked to perfection and black truffle orzo was to die for! If I had one complaint (which is a stretch) would be that it was a little loud but I attribute that to how everyone was having such a great experience. We were there for the NFR and my hats off to Chef Tim Love!
We had high expectations for our 1st time dining at Lonesome Dove with all of our friend's hyping up the restaurant.
Lonesome Dove managed to WOW us throughout our dining experience.
Well done! Very impressed!
Thank you Joe for your flawless service accompanied by the silence and detailed assistance from the entire team!
Lonesome Dove is awesome! Have been here several times and it never disappoints. Highly recommend it!
We very much enjoyed our dinner...as we always do. When in Fort Worth, it’s always on our list.
Food was really good. Atmosphere a little to be desired.
I highly recommend taking the time to eat at the Lonesome Dove Bistro, the wait staff is very informative and very helpful on making menu choices. The food is out of this world delicious. the Chef did a fabulous job with the menu.
Exceeded our expectations!!!!! It was amazing and the service was the best!!!
Absolutely delicious food, exceptional service and great drinks
The service was fantastic. The food was good but overpriced. The place is beautiful but we were sitting in the back porch? area. Servers kept going through a door and it would stick open letting in a very cold draft. We kept getting up to shut it. There were 7 of us.
This restaurant was very accommodating with our late arrival to our dinner reservation and the food was amazing.
One of my favorite restaurants across the country. The garlic stuffed tenderloin is a must have item. The Willie is a drink/experience not to be missed.
