Celebrated husband's birthday here with the kids and it was fantastic. We had the beet salad, mushroom soup, gnocchi, vegetarian linguini, bison and penne rigate. Our 6 year old twins ate off the adult menu and loved their dishes. Service was amazing and they were really great interacting with our kids. Will definitely dine here again next time we are in Tahoe!

We have dined here for over 15 years. The food is consistently excellent. The view of the lake is wonderful along with the drinks in the adjoining bar.

It is a bit expensive, but worth it.

We have traveled the and enjoyed great meals all over the World, the Lone Eagle is one of our favorite restaurants!!

Best view in the Tahoe basin. Very windy on the day we were there which made for an awesome ocean/lake experience

Excellent experience! The salmon was grilled to perfection. I also had a nibble of the sea bass, which was also excellent. Kids meal is at $23 each, but they were fairly good pep pizza and mac n cheese. The service was excellent as well.

Have been to the restaurant many times . Have a home there ... the lamb was great ... appetizer and sides were wonderful ... however our fish dishs were terrible ... so salty we could not eat them ... we did inform our server to let the line and prep know ... it was unservable ...

Bison Steak was great, Lamb Chop was a little overcooked, $23 for a kids meal that doesn't include kids drinks was outrageous. Service was just ok; $250 for two adults and two kids, I expected perfection and this just wasn't worth the money. Views and ambiance were great but that's about it.

We loved our experience at Lone Eagle. The ambiance was amazing. This is a must have dining while in Tahoe. It wont disappoint. We had pre-dinner drinks by the huge fire and then dinner of short ribs which were tender, juicy and perfect in every way, lobster (great price), sides of mac and cheese (very good), au gratin potatoes (had a different taste and we did not like), bread basket is awesome touch! We were too full for the Baked Tahoe but it looked amazing. Very romantic, cozy, scenic place to have eats!

No specials on a Friday night during ski season? Great ambiance, with a table right in front of the fireplace. Waited 10 minutes for service which was annoying and then no specials on the menu, same choices as our first night two years ago. Steak was done to my liking. Wine list was limited but on an iPad. Your best bet for fine dining in Tahoe but that isn’t saying much.

We arrived on time but waited at least 30 minutes before we were served to our table. The sommelier accused us using fake ID. Ironically we brought our wines which means we didn’t have to come to the restaurant to use a fake ID to drink our own wine. The food was not memorable but rather pricey.

The host manager Madeline was very friendly and helpful. She offered complimentary appetizers to compensate for our long wait. Our server Agnes was very nice.

The food was well prepared, sommelier was knowledgeable, waitress made good suggestions and the service outstanding. Unfortunately there were two very loud tables next to ours and it was hard to have a conversation with occupants of our table. Outstanding location on the lake.

As usual our food was good but the service lackluster.

We split a Caesar salad & scallops to start, with a glass of Miner Chardonnay each. I wouldn't recommend the salad but we liked the scallops, the wine went nicely with both dishes. I had the New York and my husband had the filet mignon, and we shared the mac & cheese. We brought a bottle of wine from a winery I worked at in Sonoma. It was my husband's birthday so we were given a complimentary chocolate mousse something for dessert that was amazing.

Our server was friendly but only present when we ordered and the check came. The somm (dude) was ok, but kinda awkward and didn't have much to say about the Miner chard or the wine we brought in. He also looked out of place in the blue shirt compared to the black everyone else was wearing. Our back waiter was the kindest and most attentive of them all.

We are locals and they don't do anything for those that own a home in incline so that's disappointing. Unfortunately, they can get away with not caring about locals' business so much since they have a monopoly on fine dining and are almost always busy. For $300/2 people I do have high expectations for both service and food.

The Drive to this place beautiful around the lake. Food way over priced , and the service was very slow and bad. This was the second time eating here thought we would give it another try, but disappointed again.
