Everything was great except for the table next to us had 6 LOUD people at it. They were laughing and having a good time but no respect for others trying to enjoy their lunch. We asked the waiter if they could PLEASE get them to quiet down but she said she could not. Spoiled the lunch we were trying to enjoy with friends.

My family and I are staying at the Hyatt and they recommended Lone Eagle Grille. The place and setting is very welcoming and views were amazing. The octopus appetiser was good. I had ordered chicken tenders for my kids and they were extremely dry and very hard (nothing tender about it). My Caesar salad was disgusting. My husband short ribs were bland and very chewy. My mother in law's sea bass was absolutely tasteless! I really had high expectations considering all the good reviews on Open table. We left hungry and short $370.

The food was delicious but that’s the extent of our positive experience. There was a college event in a room next to our table. The music was loud. The waiter was clearly not loving his job. He did nothing to make our special occasion special. Won’t go back.

Rustic dinning rooms with great views of Lake Tahoe. A great place for special occasions like your 31st wedding anniversary!

Very noisy, open room. The views were good and the rock fireplaces were beautiful but couldn't make up for the echos. Difficult to talk. Good food and service but not great.

Our server, Agnes was a gem. She was so helpful to us selecting our meals. I have a black pepper allergy and she checked with the kitchen to be sure I would be ok. The scallops were outstanding and the linguine was super. Good size appetizers portions made a lite meal.

The service was excellent with Zach ...he made our outing super pleasant...the price is not bad either
Have to try the octopus appetizer as well as the ahi poke!

The Lone Eagle is one of our favorite Tahoe restaurants. We celebrated Mother's Day and my wife's birthday and everything was outstanding. The staff provided a nice chocolate dessert to celebrate. The view, of course, just adds to the overall great experience.

Our order was messed up twice but the servers more than made up for it by redoing one dish, comping an entre, AND inviting us a Tahoe Bake dessert which was awesome. They were also very generous with the wine and cognac. We've been here many times but this was an example of stellar service. The food could not have been better.

There is nothing like sitting in the Lone Eagle, gazing out at the crystal waters of Lake Tahoe with snow capped mountain in the background. A crackling fireplace, great food, great drink and excellent servers. Memories are made from this.

Huge disappointment despite a lot of potential. We were seated in a section of the restaurant without any views despite many empty tables. The table was small and cramped. Very few staff. Saw our server very little after we got our entre. Food was average at best. Very overpriced.

This was our first time in Lake Tahoe with my wife celebrating our anniversary! We stayed at the Hyatt Regency and was recommended Lone Eagle Grill for dinner by the hotel receptionist. I’m so glad we had dinner here!!! Friendly attentive staff, clean restaurant, breathtaking views of the lake, and the food was delicious! Kayleen and Dominic was our wait staff team and they did a fantastic job. We appreciate them in taking the time in making the dinning experience enjoyable. Thank you! We’ll be back for more!

We come here every year, for at least the last 5 years, for my parents' anniversary (this year was 68 years) . The lunch menu is limited and has changed enough we probably won't be back next year, God willing they get 69 years. .
The prices are for tourists, which we are not. $17 for 1 cocktail? No lunch entree under$30 (except children's menu items which are $23). For sandwiches and fries or soup or salad? Parking $15 an hour if you don't validate. I get the beautiful setting! But we live close enough to go to other restaurants on the lake that are not so pricey. The service was good, but definitely not 5 star.

I reserved two tables for a wedding party dinner a MONTH before the date of the wedding and requested two tables near the window. When we got there, we were set outside where it was FREEZING, we asked if we could be moved inside and were told that if they moved us, we would be in two separate places in the restaurant! We had ordered two expensive bottles of Champaign as soon as we sat down and we didn't even get an offer to comp us a dime as we had to leave the restaurant!

What an incredible dining experience from start to finish! The ambiance is amazing, the service is outstanding, and each food item we ordered was a scrumptious work of art. We enjoyed the ahi appetizer, the bison tenderloin, the kale salad. And a bottle of silver oak cab- pure bliss! This is, hands down, one of the best meals we have ever enjoyed. Thank you, and we can’t wait until Luke is back singing.
