The food and ambiance are mediocre.
Wonderful Indian food with lots of vegetarian and non vegetarian options. Highly recommended.
The food and service is very good but price has to be reasonable so we can visit your restaurant many times. We find your price unreasonably high.
We loved it 😘
We enjoyed our dinner but Service was a bit slow. The restaurant was very crowded at the time. It's located near a major Houston concert venue and I think most of the patrons were concert goers all trying to eat at the same time. It's definitely worth a try and they have a fairly extensive Indian menu.
Best authentic Indian food I’ve had in quite a while. Highly recommend it.
Fabulous place! Great food, great seevice, great ambiance
Very Good Indian Food !!!!! Lamb Vindaloo, very Spicy ...... Excellent Garlic Naan Bread......Great Drink prices.......will definitely return.....BTW,,,,they have a HH !!!!!!!
London Sizzler had delicious food in a relaxed atmosphere. Our friends suggested it, and we hadn't had much Indian food before but the waiter did a good job helping us order. The bar/wine prices were reasonable, too.
We got an assortment of food with the London Sizzler platter, and all of it and the drinks were really good. We will definitely return.
We had a large group dinner. We ordered a bunch of different dishes and shared family style. Everything was very well done. Some real spicy, some mild for the non adventurous. Great naan as always. Sizzler has an excellent menu and great execution of Indian food.
Love this place.
Dined here before and have never been let down. The food was extra tasty this trip and plentiful. Also, the service was spot on. I would recommend this place if your looking for casual Indian food and I will return.
I've been to London Sizzler several times and they never disappoint. Looking forward to taking out of town guest there for dinner.
Love the okra- eggplant, breads, chicken wings, butter chicken, tikki masala, saag paneer, - consistantly good food! Will continue dining here when I crave Indian.
Overall enjoyed the food & quantity. Service was average.
Such a great place, which has been there for about 15 years - I had no idea! The restaurant is a bit small, but we were sat in the back bar area, so wasn't super crowded or loud. I was with a group of 6, we all had different items and everything was great!
Food was outstanding. Definitely go back (again and again). The music was more loud than it needed to be. Other than that, a great dinner.
This is as close as I've had to proper British Indian food anywhere in the USA, and we'll be back.
Ambience was not up to standard. Worst was restroom which was flooded.
Watch-out - Gratuity pre-added . You are tend to add additional overlooking that its already been added.
Very good service. We ate in the bar area and it was very pleasant. Nice selection of Indian dishes. Tasted very fresh. Naan bread was great as usual.
Great place to eat, drink and chat with friends. We were there for 3 hrs
Since this was our 1st visit, we ordered the standars of butter chicken, Chicken Tikka Masala along with Dal and Sag Paneer. These are the basics on which to start and compare to other Indian restaurants. All of these dishes were very good. The one exceptional dish was an eggplant chili appetizer- this had a great flavor and texture (crunchy).
Will definitely return to try other more adventurous items now that we know the staple items were solid.
food was excellent. The Grilled meats are what I go there for. Service was a little slow but it was good overall.
I'm not sure if the bill was correct - I might be a bit higher (I did not pay, so I just glanced at it). We had all courses and. Most of what we ordered was quite delicious. I do not recommend the Brownie Sizzler - it tasted like little debbie brownies, heated, and the ice cream was melted.
We enjoyed a couple of bottles of wine, some Kingfishers, 4 or 5 apps, 5 entrees, and 3 different desserts. I've had better Indian food, but we had a good time. Service was a bit slow, but our waiter had the back section and I think he was a bit overloaded. We only saw the busser girl come help him once. We also noticed that he had to make all of our drinks himself, so we don't think there was a bartender. If we would have gotten another server, we would have probably been waiting longer. The hostess was pretty good about spacing his tables out, a bit, as well.
All in all, I would definitely recommend London Sizzler, as it was recommended to me. I look forward to returning to try other dishes.
Lots of tasty Indian dishes with four good draft beers, including Kingfisher. Reasonable service and a good cocktail menu to boot. Reasonably priced and a casual atmosphere.
My grandparents and I celebrated my birthday. It was great to be in a restaurant the was not overcrowded with people dining out after church. The drink prices were reasonable and we had plenty of food. My favorite was the Garlic naan and the Masala Bhindi.
We totally enjoyed the roasted goat leg! Our dinner was for our son's 18th birthday and many of his friends had never had Indian food. We had the goat, plenty of veggie dishes and lots of garlic naan. It was great that he and his friends could all talk to each other as it wasn't too loud in the restaurant. Our waitresses were great at keeping our water glasses full. It was truly the best birthday dinner ever.
Picked this restaurant from the web to try something/someplace new. 3 Adults and 2 children. Arrived at 5:30 for dinner and the place was quiet. Kids were able to go view the large aquarium while we ordered drinks. Staff were happy to answer questions and make recommendations. Food was prompt and delicious, each plate was distinct. Staff were attentive, refilling drinks when needed without being asked. They kept an eye out and when dishes were emptied, they were cleared without disrupting the table. We will definitely return.
Basically good North Indian food. There were a few weird things, like the samosas are tiny little triangles that seem like they've been made out of phyllo dough (frozen from a box maybe??) and weren't very tasty. But mostly standard North Indian fare. Servers are pleasant but have no clue whatsoever about the wine and can't answer any questions whatsoever about any of the wines. We actually tried to order champagne, as we were celebrating something, but the only bottle of champagne they had had a plastic cork so we skipped it and had chardonnay (which was decent). We had some special requests which they honored gladly.
Loved London Sizzler. Will definitely return with more friends. Portions are large and food is excellent.
Thank you Serena for being so attentive to us everytime
Most of their curries are giving preservatives smell.
All curries giving smell like "ready eat" fast food items
I told them if they can change but they haven't
Plenty number of time i have been to Bawarchi, Biryanipot, Mayuri, Saravana Bhavan.
All these guys can change to some other item if we really not like any curry taste.
Here i didn't get that.
But one thing is - Veg Manchurian is very very good and Chats are good too.!
So, beware of Veg/Chicken Curries. Better be away.. :)
Its always a pleasure dining at London Sizzler. This was a date night, his first visit and my dozens , he love the food and the atmosphere and commented he will be back.
We always enjoy London Sizzler. The food is excellent and the service is very friendly.
My husband agreed to come here with me even though he doesn't particularly like Indian food. I got the garlic chicken jeera and it was quite tasty and the right spice level for me (I ordered medium spice.) I appreciated the recommendation to get an order of nann too because there was planty of sauce with the dish. My husband got eggplant that I'd rate average. The table next to us got a variety of the sizzler plates. That's what I plan to try next time.
No complaints here, good service, outstanding food
Servce was quick and accurate. Onion Bhagi was same as Newcastle.
We really enjoyed London Sizzler. We had a variety of dishes from lamb vindaloo to Hundi chicken. All very good. Friendly servers. A big plus was that they had college football on Inside the bar area!
