Delicious as always. Best seafood restaurant in Queens.
Fabulous ambiance and excellent food as usual.
Great food, staff excellent but it’s a bit pricey
We loved our visit. Very classy but unpretentious. There was a mixed crowd of families and couples. It was very busy but the spacing was sufficient to feel that you still had privacy. I had a wonderful porterhouse although their forte seems to be seafood, which is what everybody else ordered. The food was very fresh. The clam chowder was excellent as were the raw clams and fried calamari. The whole sea bass was reported to be incredible and the lobster eater was all smiles. Two reminders... they will give you a fresh bread roll, as many as you want really. It is so fresh you will get full because you can’t stop eating it. It is flaky so there will be bread crumbs everywhere. Don’t fret... you will be just like every other table.. Secondly, if you order lobster, there is a $15 upcharge if you get a crab stuffing or topping. Our friend who ordered the lobster was reluctant to get it, but she did. If you are a seafoodee like her, you will not be disappointed. She said it was more than worth it. In a nutshell.. a classy but very laid back environment for the sea food bourgeoisie, and an exceptional selection for those who prefer the turf side off food.
The food and service were top notch. It was a pleasant surprise and all who went were extremely happy.
The service was great. Very attentive staff. My husband ordered the surf and turf, he liked the 12oz fillet mignon, he didn't like the lobster tail. It tasted sour. I ordered the monk fish, it was good but it was cut very thin, so I was eating more risotto than fish. The New England Clam Chowder was delicious. Overall, food was good but the prices are too high for what you get. Still it is a very busy place. I saw a lot of people celebrating their birthday here.
Very busy place on a Saturday night, good thing I made reservations otherwise the wait was going to be a half hour. A bit on the loud side, but still very good. Excellent fresh oysters and lobsters. A bit on the expensive side, but still good. Service was quick.
Great place! Awesome seafood! Nice service- a bit pricey but you get A lot of delicious food!
London Lennie's never fails to please and please big! Yes, they are on the expensive side - but the seafood is the freshest you will find in NYC. The menu is creative, the staff is very warm and professional and puts pleasing their customers at the top of the list. We celebrated Easter dinner there and while it was crowded and the noise level was higher than usual, there were no negative impacts to our wonderful family dinner. We were not rushed, our every need was looked after and the food was as usual, wonderful! You will never go wrong with this restaurant.
Great food! Great service! We will definitely be back!
Went to celebrate my mom’s 72nd birthday. We arrived 30 minutes early and they were able to accommodate us. We ordered baked clams, linguine with white clam sauce, halibut filet , Thai sea bass and the fish & chips. Everything was cooked to perfection. Just done and not over cooked. And of course the complimentary bread was great and the cole slaw.
I haven’t been here for a while so I figured tonight being Good Friday & not being able to eat meat in Friday’s for lent it was a good choice. Boy was I wrong I don’t even know where to start that’s how bad my dining experience was tonight. The food was horrible the service was even worse. I definitely have to say I’m not going to be returning back to this Resturant ! They used to be really good !
Easy dining for lunch. Attentive staff. Well paced service. Tasty food
The staff and service was excellent! The lobster was amazing. Very tasty. Not a big fan of the clam chowder soup. The dumplings were excellent! I didn’t had to remind the staff about my mom’s bday. I had it noted in my reservation. With other restaurants u always have to remind them. It was an amazing experience for my mom she loved the 2 lbs lobster.
Great like always..We always have Great service and food!
Porterhouse steak was thin but they pulled of a mid rare with decent char
1 1/4 lobster (not cheap) was just ok.
Second visit in a row where the lobster didn’t stand up to their method of broiling even when we went for the 3pounder last visit
I suggest getting it steamed
Looking forward to the crawfish festival next month
A new addition to the restaurant is the manager Rich who was covering all the bases and seemed to be everywhere. A pleasant addition to a place that has suffered greatly of recent due to lack of supervision
Really great food, the crab and shrimp dumplings are amazing. The service is always good, but I would say the prices have gone up and the prices are getting up there in terms of value.
Good food , service and atmosphere , running well on all cylinders.
I have visited this restaurant for 40 years when it was 1/3 the size. The food and service have always been outstanding. Whenever someone asks me , "where can I get great seafood?", it's London Lennies.
Great fish and spinach. Amazingly knowledgeable waitress
We love coming here. Great seafood restaurant. That being said on this occasion we were a little disappointed that the advertised 1 1/2 lb lobsters were out and the 1 1/4 were a bit small. Tasty but a restaurant of this caliber shouldnt even offer the small 1 1/4lbs but unfortunately the 2lb's were a little too pricey.
Too crowded. Had to wait at bar and restaurant felt very noisy and cluttered even to make my way to the bathroom
They were short handed so it was a few hiccups to the visit. The food was just ok. I don't think I would go back there again for seafood.
Service was very good, staff was attentive but not overbearing.
Excellent seafood. Quality and great choices. All prepared exactly to order.
The food was excellent and it was served in a timely fashion. Drinks were on the high side. It was cheaper to buy a bottle of wine then order individual glasses for three people. I would recommend to a friend.
Halibut was delicious!!
Our waitress, Stephanie and our bus boy, Paul were the best.
It was amazing. My husband & I really enjoyed our self. The food was amazing. My husband had the fillet mignon & a lobster tail. He didn't leave not a little piece. I had the sautéed chicken breast with grilled asparagus & squash & zucchini. It melted in my mouth. My husband was even able to get a German beer he use to drink while he was in Germany in the Army. We really enjoyed it. Our waitress was awesome. I don't remember her name, but kudos to her. Yes we will be back. The next time we are taking our friends with us.
Always good I love London Lennie’s
Absolutely delicious! Wonderful service
Food was delicious. No complaints other than the ridiculously small crab cake entree for $18. It looked like a SMALL appetizer on a large, empty plate. If you can't serve a tiny crab cake (which in no way is enough for lunch even for a small eater) for less money, at least inform the person ordering it that it is "small". That was disappointing, to say the least and certainly not a "lunch" for the person who ordered it.
Just noise , angry staff , over cooked food , no utensils in the table
Food was good as usual. They changed the menu a bit. We started with a crab cake appetizer (single) that 2 people shared, which was enough. I had the only chicken dish on the menu which was very tasty. My husband had the "HOOK" - a platter of shrimp, muscles, oysters, lobster tail, etc. He enjoyed it. The service was good although we waited a very long time for an ice tea. It was crowded considering we went for an early diner.
It was absolutely wonderful. Food was fresh from raw oysters and clams to 2lb steamed lobster. Simply amazing.!!!!
As usual great/fresh seafood and good service. Highly recommended.
Came out of Manhattan after a matinee to eat here - a favorite of ours for years. Great appetizers, great seafood - and now they have a "seafood on a shoestring" - basically a price fix menu in addition to their regular offerings, an added value. The Nantucket Bay Scallops were over the top - thanks to our server Jonathon who recommended them - and for his great service.
Celebrated my dadas birthday our waitress Dina was great very friendly and attentive. Food was excellent dessert was delicious. Great time!
