Great service. The food was excellent, always have a great time at London Grind
Delicious flavourful food, service was prompt despite the restaurant being really busy. I'll come again
Try to go earlier or later, we went for 1pm and our waitress did her best but she was very busy and barely had time to top us up. Poached eggs were too well done but they took care of it quickly. Overall i would recommend it, but there are better places for brunch in the area.
Usually love this place - maybe it was too busy but the service was poor, we waited a long time for our table and quality of the food suffered!
Cold restaurant with door opening alot. Service was only when called over. Food was average at best. Shame, the grind in Greenwich is one of my fave restaurants!
Very cramped and noisy. Portions were small and service very slow
Great cocktails-recommend the coconut daiquiri! The food was tasty but service was a tad slow
Really great service, great food and knowledgable staff. Only thing I’d say is that the drinks menu stated next to each drink if they were vegan friendly but the food options didn’t. But our waiter was knowledgable and able to tell us which dishes were vegan friendly. The cocktails were amazing. Food was delicious. And is thoroughly recommend the bottomless Prosecco 👍🏻
Lovely food, atmosphere and we were not rushed off of our table which was nice. My only negative was we were sat right by the door and the door is in use a lot due to this place being popular so the freezing breeze every time someone opened the door was annoying. Maybe put up a big thick curtain over the door so the cold isn't so bad for anyone sat by the door. All else was perfect and will definitely recommend.
Booked for breakfast and although the staff were lovely I thought that the overall experience was pretty poor. I ordered baked eggs and they were thoroughly cooked through rather than runny - which is how they are normally prepared - with a really hard topping. I had about two pieces of chirizo in the sauce and overall it was a pretty poor dish. My chai latte was rather grainy in consistency. I ordered two and my second was plunked down rather unceremoniously with cinnamon heaped on a pile on top and all over the saucer. My colleague who I was breakfasting with asked for an orange juice - twice - it never appeared. We also were interrupted several times by the staff with drinks orders that we didn't make.
First, our booking didn't show up on their system so we were sat somewhere completely different. The way the guy told us that it hadn't shown up was as if it was my fault and not the systems. No apology.
Then, we ordered our drinks. Two almond Chai Lattes. Laughable how small they were and the taste was... Lacking. Almost tasted like almond milk with cinnamon sprinkled on top. Not much else.
We then got given two glasses of tap water. Not so lovely since one of them had purple lipstick still stuck on the side. We pushed it away and when the waiter came over to ask if it was ours we said it was still stained. He took it, said thanks and never arrived with a new glass.
We were also told we would have to move at some point if we wanted to stay longer than 50 minutes, as there was a party of 20 arriving. That was fine, but if my booking had shown up on their system we would have been at a normal table in the first place and wouldn't have had to move. We left soon after.
The whole experience was just negative. The ambience was okay. Really liked the mood lighting. But everything else was uncomfortable and we felt like a burden.
The service was really good despite it being quite busy on the day. The burger and chips were so amazing I had to order another dish - the pancakes too were delicious! Would definitely recommend the brunch menu and the bottomless prosecco! Only thing I’d say needs changing are the dish portions.
The food and drinks were great and not ridiculously pricey considering the location.
Service was a bit hit and miss as the staff were trying hard to keep up with too many tables.
Visited for the bottomless brunch which was great value for money. It was a little breezy being sat by the door. The food has good and not badly priced for brunch in London. They were unable to take our food order for a while as the kitchen was busy but this wasn't too much of a problem as we were having a leisurely brunch. Our first waitress was quite slow but our next waitress was much quicker and refilled our glasses regularly.
Brilliant atmosphere, food and service. The bottomless prosecco was a highlight and we were never waiting for a top up. The only downside was how cramped and busy it was... especially seeing as we were sat next to the door which was freezing as it kept opening and closing. However, an overall very enjoyable brunch!
Great menu and excellent service. Staff were so helpful and friendly and the food was excellent. Particularly recommend the turmeric latte.
Amazing vibe and buzzing place! With shard at the backdrop and amazing ambience, really enjoyed my time. Tapas style food, love the hummous with bread, carrots with yogurt dressing. Lovely non alcohol cocktails!!!
Service was slow but guess it was a Friday night... so... understand. Overall real good hangout place with friends
Went for a working lunch and the service was very slow - took 2 hours to receive our lunch and get the bill
Lovely vibe, top service, decent portions for great value!
Keen to check out the other Grind branches as well!
Good, healthy food in a friendly, casual atmosphere. 12.5% tip is added to your bill although our server said the staff don’t see this money!
The food was great as always but the service just wasn’t great. When we enquired about our table at the time of our booking we were told that it wasn’t ready and we had to wait since not everyone was present either. After about 15min we finally got sat down at a table for 6 despite the fact I had called to update the booking to 7. So we had to squish onto a bench and barely had space to eat. I also asked for water several times and only received it towards the end of the meal. Ok too of that we got served a side we had not ordered and informed the waiter of this to have it taken away only to find we were charged for it at the end. It took ages to get someone attention to have this amended, and once this was done the service charge was also taken off which was nice. We then had to wait a further 20min to pay the bill. I love the food here but it always seems understaffed and disorganised so although the food is worth it it’s dissapointing to be always let down by service.
Amazing ambiance, food and servies! The food was really good, and our favourite part was the botomless prosecco ;) 10/10, would absolutely recommend!
The cocktails were delicious and came very quickly once ordered. We would sometimes have to look around to catch someone's eye so we could order again though.
I had a client breakfast at this venue this morning- this was my first time at London Grind and i booked it as it seemed to have good ratings.
Unfortunately it was bad-bad-bad. Bad service - waited 40 minutes for a cup of coffee which I ordered with my meal and chased twice before the manager finally brought it over. Bad food- my sweet potato harissa cakes turned up raw. Crunchy raw sweet potato and uncooked flour was not a pleasant experience let me tell you. Bad atmosphere - the place was busy and noisy, which is absolutely fine but you could just tell that at least this morning something went wrong. There was no communication between the staff, everyone was rushing around, I had to ask three different people to pay my bill etc. I just did not feel good in your restaurant today and even though the manager (senior staff member) came to apologize quickly for the coffee and the raw harissa cakes which were taken off the bill, it was not enough to ever bring me back....
The staff were the most disorganised bunch I’ve ever experienced in a London restaurant. As soon as we sat down they kept asking if we were ready to order (3 separate waiters in as many minutes!). Then when we were ready to order pudding we couldn’t get anybody’s attention - not because they were busy but because one was eating chips and the other two were staring at screens - for ages. The main courses were good but the pudding a nice idea gone wrong. In summary, this place is totally meh.
Really convenient location for London Bridge. Food was yummy. Nice vibe and decor. Bit expensive though and a bit noisy if you just want to have a chat with friends
brilliant espresso bar! top coffee and great service
Food is always delicious here. Cocktails are wonderful too. Can get noisy in the evenings - music is too loud in my opinion.
Just a few easily remedied issues. Mostly, listen more carefully to the order details.
The toast should be actually toasted, not warm bread
Fried eggs should have runny yolk when specifically requested, not hard
If asked to bring the tea with the meal, then please do so, not well before so that it goes cold.
On the plus side, nice atmosphere and lovely pancakes. Welcoming and friendly staff also.
Nice restaurant close to London Bridge. Service was good and atmosphere pleasant. Had a mediocre burger that arrived cold while partner ordered the steak which she felt was pretty chewy and rubbery. Not bad for the price and location but not as nice as expected
The service was great but as it's a bar it is very noisy! Better for groups.
Bar was slow at bringing over food. Staff were hit and miss. One staff complained he had been working 12 hour shifts and it wasn’t his fault he was tired and slow at taking ur order. When the Food and drinks came they were good. Great location and style shame about the gaps in service and delay on the cocktails.
Food was really good and friendly service. Although the place is too cramped, too many tables pushed in a small space and the music is too loud. So a conversation is difficult, and giving your order to the staff is quite a challenge.
The starters and steak was really nice. Cocktails a bit small. And surprisingly, the coffee was quite dissapointing! And they are meant to be a coffee place!
We made an early reservation for 4pm but even then, the music was so loud that we couldn’t hear each other across the table. Not good.
Bland and underseasoned tiny bowl of pasta with hardly any prawns. Boyfriend reported the same for his fired chicken burger- no seasoning
Rather packed at 5:30 pm, with Xmas parties about to start about 6:00 pm on other tables and had not arrived. We ordered food from the menu not a set meal. The meat was tough and was not helped with blunt knives. Food and plates were hot which was welcoming. Out of Peroni, limited drinks, except for cocktails, which most were drinking. Staff were friendly and were very busy.
The food was below average (avoid the steak) and service was erratic. The two cocktails I had were watery and not that great. Go for the Instagram, don’t stay for food.
Shockingly bad and bored waitress. Slow, unengaged, and unpleasant service.
The food and actual waiting staff were great. But their maitre d/ front of house was possibly the rudest person we’ve ever met. We turned up 10 minutes early and he was very rude about it!
Brunch was great! Waiters are a laugh and super friendly. Atmosphere is great - love coming here
