We had a delightful Sunday brunch with both local and out of town family. Our waiter, Bill, was so accommodating and warm. We thought we might like to eat outside and he immediately set about moving tables to accommodate our large group. When I realized it might be too sunny, he changed gears and set us up in the sunroom with AC.
The food was delicious and service was great. Our granddaughter at 3.5 years old and her food came quickly. Crayons and a coloring book we’re on the table when we arrived. Our table made it feel as if we had our own room. We’ve been to London several times and it’s always great.
We sat outside when the weather was beautiful. The service was excellent and our party of 5 was well tended to. I would definitely go back!
Server was very nice. Music in the background played hits from 1990’s and 2000’s. My husband had Duck with cherries which he said was prepared “to perfection “. I had salmon, sushi grade, which I had rare. Delicious. We shared octopus appetizer, very tasty and each had a salad. Wine was reasonably priced. Service was very good. Sad to see so few people in restaurant and Bar areas.
The food was terrible. The atmosphere was terrible. The restaurant was dirty.
Love that you have a passover seder menu. Gefilte Fish and Soup and Vegetables were great. The brisket was delicious. Only problem was the salmon. It was not cooked / actually raw. Owner was wonderful and swapped it out so all good. I would definitely go back.
We made a reservation after reading reviews. However, when we arrived we were informed that they only having Passover Seder in the dining room. This wasn’t mentioned when they called to confirm. We should have left but since everyone was hungry we stayed and ate the limited bar menu. Very disappointing.
We went for their Wine Week offerings, which weren't listed anywhere online so we were not sure what we were getting into. They had a decent selection of beers, but the wine list was really sad. Even their specials for wine week were not exciting. The cheeses they offered were amazing, and the daily scone was the best I had ever had. If you live nearby I can see you swinging in to grab a scone and a quick breakfast or something. They have a "Make your own Bloody Mary Bar" on the weekends. It was really cute inside, but not some place I have to go back. Glad I tried it, but not excited to return.
I wish it were a little cleaner. Table and floors were sticky. But overall it was very good food and I would definitely go back.
Just fantastic absolutely amazing. The food was ridiculous!!! Best Burger I've ever had...ever. Our food guide, because I refuse to call her a server because she was just that good, Anna(I hope I spelled this correctly and didn't miss a hidden letter) was just amazing and made our visit one of the best restaurant experiences we ever had.
I love the ambiance of this little place. I went to brunch with some friends and it was lovely. There were many people but it was quiet and you didn't feel overwhelmed. The food was very good. Only complaint was the waiter was hard to track down. We never got refills of our coffees, which was a little disappointing since it was 11am!
We went after the parade . The host was very friendly, the waitress was great. The food was good. The ambiance was great. My sonand I came in right after the parade ended and was surprised that a table was available. After being on our feet for 6 hours of standing in mud we where just happy to sit, go to the bathroom and me too get a cocktail( we where ubering back to De. ) drinks where great, service great, and had a blast. Being in the restaurant business for 25 years I know long shifts, drunk guests , and an influx of patrons can make for a miserable experience all around. Everyone was friendly throughout.
Great time, great atmosphere, great food and great service during the Eagle's Super Bowl parade!
Had reservations for pre Eagles parade and service was phenomenal despite significant patrons inside and attempting to come in. Wife and kids plan to visit often in the future
We had 8 people for Super Bowl. It was such a fun night. The staff was great, happy to have us, had extra TVs brought in. No extra charge for our reservation, the food came out quickly which was delicious, drinks served fast. Shout out to Jonathan our server, who did a fantastic job during all the craziness, even got hugs for the big win ! So happy to find this gem to watch history for Philadelphia.
we came for brunch on super bowl sunday , i have been before and everything was great but i would say service was a little scattered for our brunch. it seemed like a different server / bartender/ bus boy came to the table every time and things weren’t followed up on . i have been a waitress and i know large parties can be hectic but consistency with service would have been appreciated . maybe it was just because it was a big day for the bar but the restaurant did not seem busy enough for the service we received .
Great food, excellent service, good beer selection and a very comfortable neighborhood spot.
Had a great Sunday brunch -- Bloody Mary Bar too! Also, they take reservations which is great when going with group.
The service was great! The waitress was attentive, friendly and courteous.
Great service! Had a nice family dinner before going to a show in the city.
Love this place, as they have a really nice brunch and bloody mary bar, was a bit sad they did not have the salmon benedict for brunch. Service was a little slow, but we had a trainee so it's all good. Very kind staff, good food, and you can sit outside and brunch...what more do you need?
The wait staff at the London Grill was amazing. They accommodated all our needs despite the fact that we changed the number of our party several times. The food was excellent; the Bloody Mary bar was so much fun. Thank you for making our special event so memorable.
Predictable in a good way, this long-time Fairmont standard is pleasant for fish and chips, korean fried chicken, an excellent burger, and a good beer and wine selection. Regulars and newcomers are equally welcomed at the cool bar or the sunlit back room.
I think we got the waiter trainee, but he was very nice. Had some trouble when recommending suggestions because he was so new. The food was good, but a little salty and my steak was undercooked.
Great French toast and service was excellent (Sunday brunch).
Nice beer selection. Service was good but we were there fairly early (5 pm on a Sat) and there wasn't a big crowd. Great burger! Good duck rolls.
Food was outstanding, as was the service! Only complaint is that they allow people to smoke right at the door and second hand smoke filled the restaurant.
Recently had the opportunity to return to London for lunch. Three of us had a special occasion. The service was haphazard even though we were the only ones there for the first Half hour. We all ordered the burger, which had always been one of the best in the city. It was overcooked, even though we had all ordered them "medium". Our waitstaff forgot several requests and we got the feeling that this was no longer a popular place. Only one other table arrived during the hour and a half we were there. Unimpressed and we all agreed we would not go back.
Everything was great. I would however make one suggestion....the luncheon salads were limited. How about having something simpler like a caeser salad with chicken or anything for us"plain"eaters. Thanks
Best Burger I've had in a very long time !!!!!
The food was great! The Fried Pickles are a must! The Build your own Bloody Bar is also phenomenal. Service was less than stellar...our server "forgot" several things and seemed to do a lot of standing around when she could have been tending to her tables instead.
The food was very good, had the steak, companions had the fish & chips and the burger. I got to sit in the piano bar area for the first time, great ambiance. Food came out a little slow which is okay to enjoy the setting, just not if you have somewhere to be other than there.
Would recommend it!
Hadn't been to London in awhile. Always a great menu. One son is vegetarian and he had no problem finding something he loved, second son eats nothing and loved the mac & cheese with bacon. Awesome quail special over lentils. Great cocktail followed by a good red at a great price. Have never been disapointed at London.
Glad to have rediscovered London! I appreciated the flexibility re menu (ie., substituting side dishes).
Love this place, but we always go knowing it's gonna be a bit of a wait for food with the occasional mixup. Love the jazz night downstairs (even though last time we went there were some super rowdy drunk diners...) Love the fish and chips and the drinks selection. Hot chocolate (when it's available) is also great
Staff was very friendly and made us feel very much at home. The entrees were excellent and they were all good. Wonderful choice of beers with seasonal choices and local brews.
Always a classic spot with guaranteed good food
It looks unassuming from the outside, but it's a fantastic restaurant. I had the Duck Confit Has and my girlfriend got the smoked salmon bagel platter; both were a great value for the price. Can't wait to return!
We enjoyed a wonderful brunch and had a great waiter, Ronald. Other staff were very accommodating, as well, but I wish London Grill had easier access. The steps outside are daunting to older people with mobility issues.
Went for brunch, Bloody Mary bar left a lot to be desired and was expensive for the options. Food was alright, would maybe try again for dinner.
