Lombardo's Trattoria Ratings and Reviews
We visited Lombardo’s Trattoria for the first time on Valentines Day. The host was meh, disinterested at best. But once our server Aaliyah arrived at our table, all was forgotten. She was courteous, kind, knowledgeable and attentive without being disruptive- just A+++ service. The food was incredible! Probably the best Caesar salad I’ve ever eaten. My filet mignon was cooked to perfection. My date ordered the Seafood rigatoni and I couldn’t stay off of his plate! The scallops melted in my mouth! The Valentines Day menu included dessert with each entree which was a nice touch. Speaking of nice touches, each lady of the evening was presented with a beautiful yellow rose. Overall, it was an impeccable evening, complimented by my wonderful date. We will definitely be back. 5 stars all the way!
You can't go to Lombardo's and not have their famous toasted ravioli...amazing! I could eat as my main meal. Always great service. Great bar atmosphere and everyone very friendly. Dress up for a special occasion or just go casual, up to you. Lombardo's wants to make sure you have a wonderful experience.
We have dined at Lombardo’s many times. It’s a great evening on its own or also is great to catch a meal before an event. We have taken out of town guests there because we know they won’t be disappointed. Excellent food and attentive service without being disruptive.
Food was excellent. I had a seafood risotto dish that I found a little sweet but no complaints. We sampled the toasted and lobster ravioli -- exceptional. The server was able to bring one of each out for both my wife and I. Server was friendly and informative. We had some time to kill before the theater. We felt welcome and un-rushed.
Lombardo's never disappoints. It's a quiet place with great ambiance, food and service. They have the best Toasted Ravioli in town and you have to try the Flash Fried Spinach and Shrimp Dejonge for appetizers. Any of the entrees or specials are always great. I recommend the Pork Chop special.
My husband and I both enjoyed our food very much although my lasagna (huge!) was only warm when it was finally brought out. Definitely not hot. The service was extremely slow and it took a good hour for our food to arrive which makes me assume the lasagna was just sitting back there getting cold for some time. Our waiter was very inattentive and seemed to care very little about earning a tip. Overall we enjoyed the food and setting but having a different waiter would’ve earned 5 stars.
Went to dinner before Jim Gaffigan at ScotTrade. Great location for that. Food was good and predictable. Our server was friendly but seemed scattered, leading to slow service. We allowed for this in our plans so it wasn't a problem but it made us question if they were overwhelmed by the full house or if this is the norm. Would go again due to proximity to ScotTrade but otherwise, probably not.
Party of 6 for dinner after arriving in St. Louis. Restaurant is located in the basement of Drury Inn. Decor is dated and lacking but clean. You're greeted with a photo of President Bush's family dining there for a nostalgic moment.
Food was great! One of best, if not the best, Caesar salads I've ever eaten. Lasagne is what you dream of. Affordable wine list and excellent service by Aleaia. Food makes the visit worth it!
I had asked for Dave who i believe to be a manager to ask the chef to create some appitizer options that were not on the menu but foods that did appear in dishes. The chef did an exceptional job. Dave was very willing to help. Our server was outstanding and once again an exceptional at her job. 7 of us had steak choices and they were done perfect. 1 had the snapper which was the fish/day and again outstanding. Thanks for being accomadating and exceptio al service and food.
We were celebrating birthdays among our old college group. The table was ready when we arrived. Our waitress was relatively new and had a little trouble handling a larger group, but she tried hard and she was very pleasant. Lobster Ravioli was on the menu for the evening; it was excellent as always. One of our favorite places!
