Lombardo's Italian Restaurant
Excellent food and service! Would definitely go back.
kinda ordinary and nothing special..........couldnt find the veal for all the sauce and cheese on the veal parm.
I felt it was overpriced for what you were getting. I bought two drinks at the bar which came to $17. I gave the bartender a $20 and he never gave me change. I think it is extremely rude to just assume the change is your tip. That is the kind of place this is. I stayed at the bar for several minutes waiting on my change and he completely ignored me, knowing he wasn't giving change back. I am a local and that is the first and last time we will go to Lombardo's . I will write a review on Yelp as well. Thank you for sending me the email reminding me to leave a review.
Maybe they were not prepared for the number of people...not enough wine glasses, server overwhelmed, we were not notified there would be an abbreviated and inflexible menu. Had to ask repeatedly for basics. Not what we had hoped for when choosing a spot for a great meal experience. I did note they were great with their regulars. So, lucky them.
New Year’s Eve
While the food was good, it was not outstanding or really that memorable. This is Myrtle Beach, so do leave those big city expectations at the door. Service was attentive, not intrusive.
Our table noted the stale and stereotypical Italian opera music playing was more annoying than helpful. The tables were spaced rather close together, making for a less than perfect dining experience in terms of overhearing your neighbors. We found it to be a decent value for our spend, and would return again, more likely for lunch.
Great service. Great food. Loved all the festive Christmas decorations
Meals were fair at best. Certainly not what we expected at a highly rated restaurant. Seafood entree had tilapia with no taste and small shrimp. Service was slow and disorganized.
It was very busy, and they seemed understaffed, the menu was very limited, and the quality was mediocre. We sat for 20+ minutes before even getting a menu. Compared to some of the Italian places I've eaten at around DC, it wasn't great.
Best food in Myrtle Beach!
This was our first time eating here. We were in NMB for Christmas and wanted to have a great Christmas dinner. So glad we chose Lombardo’s....from the service to the food, hands down the best Italian restaurant on the grand strand. Will definately come back.
Great Christmas dinner. Tyler was terrific. So happy they were open
A busy Christmas Eve and the restaurant abounds with guests and greeted by the lovely decorated tree. A special menu was offered for the evening with something for everyone. The staff seemed a little stressed but service was not delayed and the food and bread were piping hot and tasty.
Christmas Eve, we had just arrived in town and were pleased to be able to secure a reservation.
This restaurant is good for special occasions; not our go-to choice. No real complaints just that the drink of the day was $9.85 and a very small segment of cheese cake was $9.00 -- really? The costs of the entrees was fair.
Lombardo's menu is extensive and the setting is richly romantic. The bread and oil that was served while our meals were being prepared was mildly addictive; I could have easily spoiled my dinner! We went with the mushroom ravioli and the chicken rollatini which paired perfectly with a California pinot noir. Both dishes were prepared and plated perfectly. The only negative (and it is minor) was that we were seated in the same room where the bar is located and the bar conversation got loud, dampening the mood a bit.
It was our 41st Wedding Anniversary and everything was prefect, single rose on the table made my wife so Happy. She’s still awesomely looks at it. The food was awesome,Our server Noah was Great and topped of a great dinner with dessert. We will be back next trip to Myrtle Beach.
Excellent food both nights we were there. Dennis (bartender) is amazing. Efficient, friendly, knows how to bring people together at the bar. Fabi (our waitress the first night) was wonderful.
Very good experience all around , spot on with the sauces, and Osso Bucco, we will be back
Excellent all around. Food was great for our party of 4. Service was impeccable. Wonderful ambiance. Would highly recommend.
Very good food and service. Would come here again.
It was Saturday night and it was busy, amplified by a birthday party with 40 attendees. Still, we were seated right away and didn't wait for our server, who although new by his own admission, was attentive and informative. The food was outstanding! My veal parm was delish - not overdone and served with a nice side of pasta with a good sauce. My date's superb chicken dish was their "Feast #3". You look it up, then order it! Very nice meal indeed.
Very impressed. Great bartender, excellent server, good food choice and excellent entrees!
I have always loved and referred people here, but not anymore.
The last two times I went, it was like they changed ownership or hired a new chef.
The dishes I always ordered tasted totally different and lower quality ingredients. For example, the calamari was extremely chewy and tough, the pork chop was so tough, even the steak knife struggled to cut through it, and the penne vodka with shrimp was skimpy and not as delicious as it used to be. The pork chop used to be so good. It was the best I ever had. The salad and bread were delicious as usual. Not sure what changed, but it is not working. You were truly one of the best Italian Restaurants in Myrtle Beach.
Good food and service. No complaints
It was our first time visiting and we very pleased with all aspects. Our server E’Stephano was wonderful and and served us well. Food was delicious and creme brûlée was outstanding. We will definitely visit again.
Perfect for everyday or a special occasion.
Seafood Trio was excellent.
Definitely would return
Food was great my only issue was that the dinner came out before the salad.
Excellent service. The best Caesar salad I have had in YEARS. All 6 people loved their meal.
It was a pleasant experience. However despite indicating on our reservation that we were celebrating a birthday there was no outward acknowledgement of the occasion other than saying happy birthday. Other restaurants provide a small cake or a candle on the person’s dessert.
Always a fabulous experience. Frequently recommend to others.
Excellent food, service and value. Would recommend this restaurant and your service to others.
Our first visit and we will be back. Great food and terrific service.
Great food service and atmosphere
Marinara sauce was too salty. Everything else was great.
The food is so very good. Great service and relaxing atmosphere. Highly recommend the Shrimp Parmesan.
I seldom leave feedback but this business deserves to be bragged on. My wife and I both had the seafood special (grouper, scallops, shrimp on risotto with a lobster sauce). The food was wonderful, perhaps the best seafood meal I've ever had. It was absolutely wonderful.
It was one of the best evenings out while visiting Myrtle Beach. Our waiter, Kiki, who is from Kosovo, was so caring, thoughtful, kind and helpful. The food was excellent! I had A pork shank over Parmesan risotto that just fell off the bone and melted in my mouth. My husband had a seafood mix of grouper, scallops and shrimp with a lobster sauce over top. He was quite pleased with the combo. We will definitely be back our next visit to Myrtle Beach.
