The food was good, although I thought a little pricey. It was a special occasion dinner so was wiling to pay the price, but it won't be a place we visit often on our fixed retirement income.
All in all it’s an average Italian restaurant. The food is good but a bit over priced for the quality. The service is above average but not stellar. Looks like high school kids or your college age folks trying to make a living. The restaurant is dated and in need of a makeover.
Have eaten here many times- must have been an off night. Noise level was very high to start but that’s not the fault of the restaurant. Both the pot roast and the salmon piccata were quite dry and a bit tasteless. Ordered more piccata sauce which didn’t really help. Tasted the pot roast brought home and honestly- no flavor. Our friend ordered the chicken Marsala and loved it. I’ll try that next time.
I was hesitant after reading some of the reviews, but the service and food was quite good. We chose to sit in the bar to take advantage of happy hour, which helped keep the bill somewhat reasonable. It is a bit pricey for Italian food. Profit margins on pasta dishes tends to be high, so as long as they keep the quality of the food and service high they will continue to do well. Compared to their other restaurants the ambience in Mill Creek is minimal at best and I’d hope they will upgrade in the future to a larger dining room and more inviting atmosphere.
The service exceeded expectations.
Excellent holiday/seasonal menu selections.
Particularly the pear salad, scallops with pasta, and bread pudding.
We go out every year for New Year’s Eve and select a different restaurant each time. Lombardi’s has a great ambiance for family or date night and the wine menu is impressive for their yummy menu. The specials were delicious and our large party all were pleased with their selections.
We had a very nice dinner to celebrate an anniversary and the holidays. Our wait staff was very attentive without being overly so. Food and wine was great. Went home with leftovers to enjoy the next day.
The food is pretty good, but it is really load in the restaurant.
I've always enjoyed eating at Lombardi's. I met the owner one afternoon and she understands how to operate and run a high class restaurant. They will continue to be successful.
The only complaint I would have is that the server stopped to watch football at the bar , maybe while waiting for the bartender to serve his requests, but at the expense of our bread and garlic oil taking long to be served. This would not deter me from returning, nor did it make my experience miserable. Food is always good and restarau ts are kept clean.
Not impressed with the food
This was a great opportunity to celebrate my wife's birthday and enjoy the food that the chefs at
Lombardi's prepare. We had a wonderful meal, great service, and great wine as usual! We totally recommend this location to anyone in the area.
Always a great place to visit. The food is a step up from your average Italian place but not super fancy either. Our server, Tyler, was very friendly and accommodating.
Food was good, host needs to be little more friendly our server was great, friendly and got our orders right. Parking was also great. I would recommend this place for families.
Pasta was just about warm, but otherwise everything was fine.
The food wasn't very tasty. I ordered the Bolognese and I have had much better at chain restaurants. Both steaks that we ordered were overcooked. The pizza we ordered was cold to touch. The waitress did try to make good on the pizza by giving us a discount but overall I wouldn't return.
Good food- salmon piccata- husband had the chicken w prosciutto dish and loved it. Service was excellent. Waiter got all the requests right with just the right amount of attention.
Food was okay at best. I would say it’s over priced. Service was awful and the waitress had a major attitude problem. I’ve never been to an Italian restaurant that did not season the food. Thank the lord for salt.
I don’t live here, I live on Maui. My longtime dear Friend Derek works there and I was in town, happened to be on his birthday. Wanted to take my mom out for dinner. Immediately when I walked in we were warmly greeted. Sat down in the lounge for happy hour, awesome service. Went to sit in Dereks section. He is just amazing to watch work his tables. He is warm, funny, very informative of the food, and of course wine. Had the butternut squash raviolis with a sage butter sauce. The garlic bread has Gorgonzola. Absolutely wonderful from beginning to end. Amazing food, wonderful service in a very comfortable booth.
Caprese had no balsamic and only 1 piece of basil - super bland. The server was hard to find and rarely came by.
Lombardi's is our "go to" restaurant. We just love it! We had our daughter visiting, so we brought her to dinner, which was fantastic! We ordered off of the new fall menu and weren't disappointed. Both my daughter and I literally could have made dinner out of the garlic oil and bread alone!
We are new to town and thought we would try this restaurant just down the street from our new home.
The hostess was put out the second we walked in. My party of 6 was placed at a table for 4. While we were given water relatively quickly, we waited 15 minutes to be greeted by a server. Our server was nice but she was over sat. The only staff we saw working were 2 bussers, 1 hostess, 1 server and 1 manager. Everyone was scrambling the entire time. The pasta I ordered had a weird mouth feel. The pizza my son had was under baked and greasy. I had to get up and get someone’s attention to get a check as it felt like we were forgotten about at every turn. What should’ve been a fun night with family who flew to town to visit us was more claustrophobic and frustrating. As we left the restaurant my husband said, “Lesson learned. We won’t be back.”
Arrived on time at 5:30. Restaurant was empty. Server was polite, prompt and informed. Atmosphere was cheap, phone in the kitchen area that was ringing loudly was audible from the restaurant. Food was average, i.e. If Denny's decided they wanted to offer chicken Marsala. Wine list is sparse.
Adding insult to injury despite the Open Table reservation, we didn't get credit for our visit and didn't get an explanation. Better choices in the area. Should have known better
We like to go to Lombardi's for a special occasion, or when we have a date night. The food and service are always outstanding.
Good piccata fish- wild salmon! Easy atmosphere- great server staff!
Birthday dinner for my daughter
Service was very poor, waiter ignored a request for a beer and later acknowledged that he forgot to bring the beer. He offered not apology or anything for his mistake. There was a party going on in a room in the back and they had multiple waiters helping them, while general seating had one waiter helping multiple tables. Service was slow and unimpressive.
Good food, friendly efficient staff! Always consistent.
It was good, but nothing special considering the prices. Our drinks and appetizers/salad were served in a very timely manner. Then, there was a huge delay in serving our entrees - not real sure what took so long. While the food tasted very good, mine was just warm, not hot. It’s obvious our food had been sitting for some time. Our server was very nice and friendly, but seemed to have tables assigned to her all over the restaurant and outside. There didn’t appear to be any rhyme or reason to this. While this was on Mother’s day as well, the restaurant was not overly crowded. There were empty tables and no one waiting to be seated. So, not real sure why they couldn’t manage the tables very well. While I might go there again, it’s not a place I would rush back.
The shrimp diavolo was great. That sauce! And the limoncello tiramisu was amazing!
Our food was delicious but the service was less than stellar. We had to flag down the waitress for water and some condiments; no one bothered to come to the table once we were served our food.
There was construction out front so we had to park out back. There was a wheelbarrow and garden hose that we had to negotiate around to get to/from the restaurant... not very customer friendly.
We love the scampi deviolio. Lombardi’s is the only restaurant that makes it right and super good. Love the garlic and shrimp.
Great service with a smile. If you are looking for a great meal go here.
Great food. Best lasagna ever. Tuscan shrimp was awesome but the white beans were under cooked. It was taken off our bill. Waiter Zac was great. Really nice dinner. We will keep coming back for sure
Easter Brunch. No, don't do it. I'm sorry to say it was a complete disappointment. I want to make sure I am clear in saying the staff was working incredibly hard, and were doing their best in an unfortunate situation. The service and staff was the only good thing about this experience.
The menu is slightly deceiving. They called 'basic' dishes fancy names to make it seem more exciting. There is a limited number of items to choose from, and it is basic. Potatoes O'Brien (called hash or something), fruit platter, french toast (just average), sausage, bacon, mini zucchini muffins, scrambled eggs, scrambled eggs with potatoes O'Brien in them, a mini salad bar (that looked more like toppings for tacos), 2 types of pasta/Italian dishes, dried out salmon and a fresh turkey for carving. They also had 2 sort-of deserts. A mini chocolate filled mousse pastry and another un-overvelming pastry. I won't go into too much detail, becuase I really do stress the staff was overworked and exhausted; but the guy carving salmon couldn't even tell my husband where it came from, how it was made, if it had been frozen, etc.
Picture a large family gathering at Grandma's house where everyone is lined up in front of the entry/exit door (literally 10+ people at a time) to choose from 10-15 dishes of home cooked food. All of the food is served in a buffet bar you purchase at a local homegoods store. Now pay $30 per adult and $10 per child. Also, you have to ask your server for your plate and wait for them to come to ask for another one should you choose to go through a second time.
I had to ask them to remove a $10 charge for my 2 year old who ate 4 pieces of watermelon.
Also, drinks are alacarte so expect to pay an extra few dollars per person. Our bill before tip came to $95 for 2 adults and 1 child (5). No alcoholic beverages just coffee, juice for the kids, milk and an Arnold Palmer. We could have gone to an amazing brunch for about $25 more. Next time, we will do just that!
Went for Easter brunch it was great, not too many tables and it was not loud so we could hear everyone at the table.
I wish the menu had more pasta options, particularly options without tomatoes, but the pastas we did order were very good. Wine was wonderful! Great Ambiance.
The restaurant is very nice for a family dinner, but the food is very disappointing. I had lasagna which is a basic staple at an Italian restaurant. It was the worst warm lasagna I have ever had.
Nice atmosphere, friendly servers, good food. The bruschetta sampler is a delish appetizer -- select the olive tapenade and raisin/fig compote. The chicken marsala was excellent - really good marsala sauce.
Good food and excellent service. Also, a nice wine and beer selection. We we're pleased and looking forward to coming back again.
My wife and I had a very good meal at Lombardi's and very much enjoyed the service we got from the people who served us. One rather minor glitch was that the food was not as warm as we would have liked it when it was served; the flavors were excellent, however.
