The food is spot on in terms of flavor, and our server, Peter, was a gentleman with a fun sense of humor as well.
We got the seasonal appetizer, a poached pear salad. It has been and is still my favorite salad from any restaurant.
For our entrees, we got a lamb meatball pasta and a shrimp pasta dish. Both were phenomenal, and my personal favorite was the meatballs.
Finally, we shared an eggnog panna cotta with a butter rum sauce. Yum!
Food awesome. Wait staff knowledgable but a bit slow.
We went for Valentine’s Day, odered the entire menu and had a blast. Matthew was our server, he was great. We will definitely be back!
We went for Valentine’s Day and brought my elderly mother. We got sat next to a huge wedding party that was very loud & boistrous. What should have been a nice relaxing dinner was not! The wedding party should have been in the private room not in the main dining area! We had to practically yell to hear each other. It was very disappointing.
Wish I could have gotten the window seat but it was a busy holiday. I couldn't figure out how to choose a window seat on reservations. Great food and great service! I will go back!
Great food and wonderful service. The view of the marina was very nice. The wait staff was very attentive made us feel welcomed. I would recommend Lombardi's to anyone looking for a great meal at great prices.
We met our friends at Lombardi's because it is halfway between our homes. I have been going there for years and finally got my friends there. We all loved it. The food was wonderful, the wine was great and we were able to have and hear a great conversation. I will continue to recommend Lombardi's to all my valued friends and family.
Our waitress was great. The other person who I will assume was a bus boy or something (filled water/ boxed my husbands food).
That gentleman made an odd comment that my husbands food looked really good and made him jealous. That working there around all the food was difficult. I assume because he often did not get a cut of steak. I’m not surest was his attempt at small talk but it was odd and made us forget what we were talking about before he came over.
The service made up for the disappointing meal.....
Terrific service from start to finish. Soup was very creative but arrived cool vs. hot. When we noted this to the waiter he offered to replace it but we did not want to wait as we had our main meals coming quickly. They nicely took the soup off the bill when we paid. The food was excellent and also the deserts. It is a great spot to sit by the window at the marina and enjoy the view while enjoying your meal and dining partner's chat. Quiet enough for this but a vibrant spot.
Great food. The ambiance was nice and great service.
Have been going to Lombardi's for years (after theater dinner). One of my favorite restaurants in the area. The food is always great and the servers have been a joy to interact with!
We had a great waiter, the drinks and food were excellent. Good for conversation.
Service was good but the food was very bad. Everything was undercooked. My wife and I get very few date nights so this was a disappointment.
We were very disappointed with our dinner on January 18, 2019. I ordered Chicken Marsala, which I have had on several previous occasions. On those previous times, it was wonderful, but this time it was awful. Instead of the rich, brown Marsala sauce, it was flavorless, light beige colored ‘something’, with no flavor whatsoever. The chicken was rubbery and difficult to chew. Most of my husband’s meal was fine, except for the noodles/pasta. His, like mine, was cold and very undercooked.
When the waiter came by and asked how our meal was, I expressed my disappointment with my meal. He offered to let me order something else, but we had tickets to the Village Theater and didn’t have time to wait for another meal. I ate a small amount of my dinner, but was unable to finish it.
I realize it’s often difficult to keep consistent standards in restaurants, but when we go to a restaurant like Lombardi’s, we expect a good meal. Something was definitely ‘off’ on Friday night. It was a disappointing experience.
Thank you for allowing me to give feedback. I hope this helps in your future planning.
Seasonal menu is fun and unique. It's a very nice restaurant just a step below fine dining, with very reasonable prices. Appetizer, drinks, and entree's came out timely. Attentive wait staff. We brought our 3 and 7 year old boys to dinner, other tables around us had brought their children.
Great food every time! Nice cozy place by the waterfront in Everett. Been going there for years, service is awesome every time! Fresh pasta and wholesome ingredients. Great wine list and I think, prices are appropriate for a nice night out!
Dinner was overpriced and the food was bad, the following were issues:
The Crab cake appetizer were stuffed more with celery than crab.
The squid appetizer was so odd.
The Lasagna was chewy and tough.
The scallops with the squid noodles tasted old.
Plus the waitress was not attentive as she had so many tables to tend to.
In the end we won’t be going back ever!
Great food, great view and always a fun experience.
Good time, good food, excellent service.
My husband and I were there for my birthday. It’s one of my favorite restaurants. I had the Scampi and he had the Italian Pot Roast. Both were excellent. The Scampi was a little spicy but I’m not much for spice so I wouldn’t judge by me. Service was excellent! The only thing I don’t like are the lights along the window. The glare was very annoying to me and was triggering a headache. I switched sides with my husband and it was better. I always love the chocolate mousse and my husband enjoyed the custard.
Everything went well. The clam chowder was delicious, but could have been hotter. Italian salad was great. Bruschetta was a big hit. Service was excellent. My hot tea was Luke warm. Server brought much hotter when I told her about it
Nice business meal overall
We can always count on an excellent meal with great service. Lombardis is one of our standard go-to places to dine, especially with friends.
We are regular customers at Lombardi’s and our last three or four visits at the Everett marina have been pretty disappointing. Last night, New Years Eve, was the worst. I cannot justify spending $100 or more for a mediocre dinner and poor service and then having to leave a 20% tip and service charge on top of it. I am not one to complain or punish a server for a bad experience.
Last night, we had an 8:30 pm dinner reservation. As we were walking by the kitchen to our table, I noticed that the restaurant was fully staffed. I recognized all servers on duty and the kitchen was loaded with more chefs than usual. Kind of like “all hands on deck”. We were seated at our table which hadn’t even been set yet. Cleaned off but no silverware or glassware. The hostess promptly brought table settings and said our server would be with us shortly. After ten minutes of waiting the busboy brought us a basket of bread and filled our water glasses. Every other table around us was getting service and our table was in the middle of it all. We were at our table for 20 minutes with water and bread when our server showed up and told us she was taking orders for the 9pm champagne toast that was starting in five minutes. We said yes to the champagne. When she brought it she took our entire order at once. Drink, salad, dinner. Our salads arrived in a reasonable time and four bites into it here comes our dinner. The fettuccine was dried out and not slippery and buttery like it should be. The chicken was over cooked. Like the food was prepared and cooked ahead of time and they were just slapping it on a plate and serving it. The dinner was not hot out of the sautéed pan, but warm. I realize it was a holiday evening but that is no excuse. We were the last table seated in that section. While we were still eating our dinner, three bussers were clearing all the tables around us, clinging and clanging all the dishes while cleaning off the tables.
Always great food, excellent friendly service, our pick for special occasions.
Quality ingredients and delicious menu selections. We’ve tried them all!
Went there for dinner with friends, service was good as well as the food.
Some entrees brought to table were luke warm at best. Service was great, timely, seated right away even though we were 30 min early. Great entrees, just a couple were almost cold. Did send them back for reheat.
Wonderful dinner on Christmas Eve. Perfect evening with impressive food. We will return for special rvrnts.
We have been going to Lombardi's for about 17 yrs and really enjoy the food and service. We recommend this rest. to all our friends.
The service was slow. The server did not get our order correct. The soup was barely lukewarm.
We enjoyed our food there last week. My husband had a steak dinner and I had the squid ink pasta, which was amazing, with scallops. Both were well prepared and delicious.
We have always enjoyed the excellent dining at Lombardi's.
Everything was very good to outstanding except for the noise level.
Specifically, the table to the north of us had a very noisy baby/toddler. Not every dining venue is a good place for young children.
Possibly a notice: "Not suitable for guests under XX years of age."
Enjoyed it and I would go again for a special occasion.
Our waitress was excellent and we enjoyed he very much.
Everyone loved what they ordered, the staff was helpful and knowledgeable, and recommendations were winners. We very much enjoyed it and will be back.
Dinner with our family and new grandchild, unrushed, stimulating view, great food...will be back!
Great service and not a long wait time for our food to arrive at our table. Nice views of the marina.
We had a birthday celebration here and everyone enjoyed their dinner! Nice selection of items. The service was exceptional too! Something near and dear to my heart is always dessert. They have a nice aray of gelato! Salted carmel is amazing!
Great night out with my husband. Sharon was great.
Loved our waitress the food was delightful
