The food was interesting/intriguing, certainly more suited to a tasting menu. The wine pairings were also good, but heavily weighted to whites; I would have enjoyed tasting 2 or 3 more reds. The service could not have been better.
Cotogna remains simply one of the best Italian restaurants in the city! Consistently delicious food, attentive and warm service in a beautifully designed space--the ultimate restaurant combination. At lunch there on a recent Wednesday, the manager was on the floor, laser focused on ensuring...

Incredible hospitality and delicious thoughtful cuisine. If you enjoy putting your dining experience into the hands of others definitely let them cook for you. House made butter is outstanding, wine list extensive and all around one of the more enjoyable meals in recent memory.

This dinner was truly wonderful at every level. Each person we met each bite we took was amazing. Being invited to have dessert in the kitchen was so nice. Mike the bartender is a genius and a great person, so much love for what he does and the restaurant could not ask for a better person behind...
My wife and I had dinner at Coi on Saturday night. This was our third time there over the last few years. As always the food was great, the service was impeccable yet unpretentious and the ambiance is very nice. We did the wine pairing with one regular and one reserve. The pours are generous. We...
Phemomenal place. 10/10, would eat there again. Don't eat lunch because you will get a good amount of quail for dinner here!
Such good food! Their bread products, the focaccia, the pizza crust are awesome.. the pasta with Bolognese sauce.. yum!

We got the tasting menu for $65 per person, best value! Each dish unique and with many layers that complimented each other in the dish - 8 different plates that each stood on its own!
It was our first time heading into the city for dinner since the pandemic started. We were not sure what to expect, and we’re completely taken by the food, the service, and the overall experience. Everything was fantastic! We even snagged a parking spot close to the entry which of course is always...

It is difficult to review well because we ate outside and it was freezing cold. The food was mostly great, as was the wine. The ambiance could have been better with some sort of separation from the street (homeless people walking by, loud cars, etc.). If they add additional heaters, and some sort...

As always, very special.
Loved the pastas and rice ball. Crostini was good not great with anchovies. Prosecco was terrific.
It was my wife’s 58th birthday and we enjoyed sitting with Andrew at the bar greatly even though we had a table reservation.
Gio, the General Manager is a great host and Elliott our server was gracious. The Waitstaff team knowledgeable and friendly. Dinner was great and tasty and the experience was wonderful!

Incredible food and really great ambiance!
Dinner at Barbacco was spectacular. We started with the charcuterie board beautifully arranged with the finest prosciutto, salami, mortadella, cheese, olive, nuts. Followed with the octopus. For the main course we had the steak and the rigatoni pasta. OMG, they were so delicious. Our friend...

We really enjoyed our pandemic period experience here!! The food was wonderful, the parklet was elegant, the view of the lit up bridge was gorgeous and the heaters were wonderfully sufficient. It was such a nice experience- thank you!!
We were seated for outdoor dining for a group of 4. We had the pork chop, fried chicken, pasta and duck. Pork chop and fried chicken were moist. Very nice. Pasta and duck were also good. It was a lot of food for the 4 of us. We would definitely go again.

Excellent service and best Omakase I have ever had
This is a neighborhood gem--a low-key, welcoming atmosphere is paired with a unique menu in which everything is delicious. Glad these guys seem to be surviving COVID. The food travels well, but the patio and street dining feel safe and comfortable.

Everything was great but it was just a little too cold sitting outside and there were not enough heaters to take care of the chilly weather.

Great drinks, food including the vanilla cake with Mondrian curd and the whiskey chocolate cake!
Delicious food served inside outdoor cabanas with excellent heating. I particularly enjoyed the brussels sprouts, the sunchokes, and the brown butter parsnip cake dessert, though everything was tasty.
Always worth the commute! Love love love this place!

We have always found Cafe Claude very pleasant with excellent food and service.
Wonderful in every way. Lovely ambience, we were seated in a corner of the deep-coral colored room which only holds 4 tables. Quiet unobtrusive & impeccable service without any pretension. Every course exquisite & delicate with marvelous combinations of flavors. I felt that $165 pp for 9 courses of...
very disappointed that Open Table did not provide points for this reservation. Had you not surprised me post meal, i would have booked directly with restaurant. That was sneaky of Open Table. It is the second time this has happened to me. Despite that, Al's place is great!
Our waiter, Grey, was delightful. He gave us a good wine recommendation and was very attentive. Lovely eating experience.
The most delicious Italian food and wine I’ve had outside of Italy!! I love this restaurant!!

Ken (General Manager) was outsanding. The food and service was impeccable.

Service was a little bit strange- host’s tone was a bit sassy, the spaces were kind of tight and one of the waiter’s booty kept hovering over our drinks. There was a very long wait inbetween some of our dishes (we had the 7 course tasting menu). Servers were all different and got some of our dishes...

Wonderful and amazing as usual! Top notch service and the best food you will find in SF
Amazing food and service, a little loud inside but overall amazing. We were initially sat downstairs and there was a group of 8 who were at the bar very loud and the were sat right behind us. We couldn't hear each other streak and since we're from out of town and I made these reservations months...

Fringale has been our favorite French bistro in San Francisco since it opened 28 years ago. How sad that it is closing! It has a delicious menu, delightful ambience, and charming servers. We loved our 3-course luncheon beginning with duck rillettes and prawns in Pastis, and then steak frites and...

Just perfect and staff and food amazing
The food was amazing and the service attentive. I can’t really comment on noise level. The restaurant had lots of cancelled reservations due to the coronavirus scare, so it was almost empty. The bread was perfect, by the way. All dishes seemed simple, but the flavors were perfect together.
Overall, Harborview's food was so good and beautifully served! Their servers were super friendly & considerate.
The Lychee Martini was so well made - the hint of lychee in the drink was just right!

We enjoyed an excellent dinner at Trailblazer on Friday, March 13. Probably because of Coronavirus, the restaurant was not as busy as normal. We both had the multiple course tasting menu and enjoyed it greatly. Its a very reasonable price at $65 each, with a wine pairing at only $15. The...

Amazing. We have come to this place several times but it was the first time bringing our 13 year old and they loved it. We had the potatoes, the octopus, the huevos nacionales, the mar y Tierra paella and the veggie paella. The sangria was delicious as well. This is definitely my favorite place and...

This is the best kept secret in San Francisco! Food is creative, tasty, and delicious. Service is top notch! Quiet and beautiful ambient that one can hear each other easily.
This is a fabulous neighborhood gem of a restaurant. The food is excellent and the entire restaurant staff from the owners to the servers were welcoming and attentive. You must try the homemade ice cream and sorbets. It’s a must visit restaurant in San Francisco.
