The extensive full-scale renovation highlights the addition of a 16-seat bar and chef's counter looking into the open kitchen. Lolita seats 45 guests with additional outdoor sidewalk seating in the warmer months. Reservations are accepted every day for lunch and dinner, while seating at the bar and chef’s counter is on a first come, first served basis. We have a full liquor license and accept all major credit cards.
The food was good but the pitcher of margaritas had no alcohol in it at all. For $36 we were disappointed. The kids said the nachos were the best they ever had!
The food, drinks and service were amazing!! I will definitely be back!
The food was amazing. Would highly recommend. Make sure you make reservations
Great food and service, 1st time and would recommend
Always an amazing time, great food! I recommend this place if you're looking for great Mexican cuisine.
Food was all incredibly salty & overpriced (we didn’t do the restaurant week menu). The vegetarian enchiladas with butternut squash had ONE piece of squash that we could see... disappointing.
The food that was selected for Restaurant week was excellent and the server we had was outstanding
Great food. Would highly recommend
First time visiting Lolita. It was restaurant week but we did not order from the restaurant week menu. Both ordered create your own tacos. Food was good. Seating really accommodates small parties.
Wow is all I can say. We were wowed by the staff and the food start to finish. It was a bit loud but small price to pay
Loved this place! One of the best in Philly.
Food is outstanding, had the blood orange margarita and it was fantastic. Our server was a doll, definitely recommend! One of my favorite spots in the city
The guacamole was great but the chips were not crisp or very tasty. The street corn was excellent. The shrimp enchiladas were very disappointing. Just lots of cheese in a tortilla. The shrimp consisted of a skewer of shrimp on top - not incorporated into the dish. The chopped salad was mostly lettuce, not very flavorful. It was noisy and dark. The waiter was fine and took the shrimp off my bill because they were so salty that I couldn't eat them.
Visited for philadelphia restaurant week - fabulous find - great food - sangria was delicious
Service was top notch
I am a Lolita aficionado. I think the food is usually great. The only issue, a small one, was how the bee salad was plated; it was literally thrown together and the pumpkin seed dressing or whatever was at the bottom of the plate. Although I did not want coffee with dessert, I was not offered it, which would have been a courteous gesture.
We went on a week eight during restaurant week, but opted to order off the menu. The short rib nachos were delicious and super filling. On our table we got fish, chicken and mushroom tacos as well the shrimp enchiladas. My favorites were the mushroom and fish tacos both of which were very filling and full of flavor. Would definitely go back cause the food was delicious!
Lolita was an excellent restaurant! Great location, food and ambiance. The only negative thing was the signage for the restaurant. I walked right past it and if I didn't have my GPS on I would have been lost.
Came here for the first time during restaurant week and did the tasting menu. Everything was so delicious I had the carnitas tacos and carne asada, my only complaint was I had asked for my meat to be cooked rare and it came out medium well, it was still really good just not what I had requested. For dessert I chose the tiramisu and it was to die for one of the best I’ve ever had. Love this place and will definitely be back
Cool vibe. Seems like a popular after work place.
The empanadas from the chef were delicious. The fish tacos were excellent. The fish was crispy and the toppings were fresh. The bronzino was cooked to perfection with the skin being crispy. The desserts left much to be desired. I'd return again to try the nachos which looked amazing as they passed by on their way to another table.
We went for restaurant week, so the value was unbeatable. I felt like our server kind of rushed us out a bit, but overall it was great.
This was my first time dining at Lolita's, and it did not disappoint. From spectacular food to service I will definitely return!
Both starting salads in the restaurant week lunch menu were great! The veggie burrito was flavorful and filling. But the coconut tres leches cake for dessert was dry.
Very nice atmosphere, I had a nice time with my friend for restaurant week. Our entrées were fantastic, happy they had a lot of vegetarian options!
Delicious drinks and food was amazing. Not rushed, enjoyable evening.
Excellent food, especial mention for the Carne Assad. Had a table on the pavement great for people watching without being in the way. Service was excellent, good advice combined with a welcoming manner. Definitely recommend.
The service was exceptional and so was the food.
The food was delicious. I ordered from the tasting menu & was pleased with everything that I had. I highly recommend the fish tacos, my selection from the tasting menu.
Food was excellent. Service was great. Drinks were average and it’s a small place so loud. But the food makes up for any short comings.
Good for casual gathering! Food & drink were very good!
Will go again!
Food was exceptional. Staff was nice and courteous despite how busy the place was.
Food was very good. Carne Asada was excellent.
It was a great meal with wonderful service. Thank you!
I've been dining at Lolita since it opened however I have not been there in quite a while. The noise level was horrendous. Absolutely impossible to have conversation without yelling. I don't remember it ever being so loud.
Chicken enchiladas were very disappointing. Enchiladas were buried beneath whatever was on top and tasted to me like mush.
Service as always was excellent.
Real sorry to give such a mediocre review.
Best carne asada ever! Highly recommend it and Lolita!
The drinks and guac were fantastic but the tacos left much to be desired. I had the mushroom tacos and they were overly salted and greasy. Overall, the experience was lovely, but my entree was very disappointing.
Sent our corporate team to lunch and it was the first time they all dined there and many were from out of town. They loved the food and appreciated they were able to choose from the menu as well as the 3 course. The chef, Andrew did a phenomenal job and they couldn't stop raving how great their meals were. We will definitely be back!
Have never been disappointed with my evenings at Lolita. Took adult son for his first visit and it was fun to see his enthusiastic reception of food and margs. Hostess was so accommodating and nice. I had amended my original open table reservation to include one more, but apparently I erred in updating and she was so nice in working out a table for 3. Now that my son lives in that area, we look forward to hitting up Lolita more frequently :)
Always a hit for a great place on 13th Street. Must say the Filet is to die for.
The service was very nice and it's the only positive thing.
The food was terrible. I took tacos with shrimps, and it tasted all bad. The shrimp were not fresh and the tacos were served with the packet.
No Mexican or Latin music, so you hear the other people chats.
