About Lola's on Harrison
Opened in 2007, it remains a bastion of contemporary, American, upscale comfort food. Recently, the restaurant was taken over by Chef Bob Mignola, whose resume includes Smith & Wollensky in Miami Beach and The Post House in Manhattan. Mignola has worked with renowned Chef's David Burke, Bobby Flay & Michelle Bernstein. Mignola is breathing new life into this already outstanding dining establishment.
From the extraordinary boutique wine list, the seemingly endless selection of craft beers, an imaginative and alluring cocktail menu, to the offerings of artfully prepared cuisine, no step has been missed in selecting and preparing the finest and freshest of ingredients. Mignola will be showing off his culinary talents by introducing specials to compliment Lola's favorite selections such as the Coca Cola® Short Ribs and the Crab Cakes, which remain on the menu.

Lola's on Harrison Ratings and Reviews
Excellent restaurant. It's a 40 minute drive for us but well worth the drive. Great ambiance, good service but above all the food was excellent. All the many positive reviews on the food of this place are not exaggerated. We have the crab cake and salmon tartar as appetizer. Both were superb, especially the crab cake. Main course was filet mignon for my wife which was cooked to perfection. I had the best pork chop ever with the bone in chop off the menu. Highly recommend this place
It just so happened, I ate at Lola's twice last week. My dinners were outstanding! The salads are full and plentiful with just the right amount of dressing. The angry shrimp appetizer is delicious, as were our entrees. I would definitely recommend the rack of lamb or the Coca Cola bar-b-que ribs. The blueberry cobbler with vanilla ice cream is an excellent choice for dessert! This restaurant has never disappointed me. The food is consistently good!!! I highly recommend Lola's to anyone who enjoys great food and great service!
Among the many dining choices in South Broward County, Lola's rates somewhere in the middle of the pack . It was just a average Friday night dining experience. Their Egg Plant Parmigiana appetizer special was exceptionally large and filling ,but lacked the well baked cheese and sauce presentation that was requested. A few issues understanding the special allergy preparation in the Branzino special resulted in having to send back the entree to be redone . I will recommend the signature Coca Cola prepared Baby Back Ribs. Overall, take your best shot.....I'm not sure if I will.
We arrived early for our reservation and decided to sit at the bar and have a cocktail. The
bartender was so enchanting we decided to have dinner at the bar and let the host know. The bar was small but comfortable and watching the bartender make a variety of specialty drinks was quite a show! We ordered the shrimp taco appetizer which was truly outstanding, the best I have ever had. There were two tacos with 6 nice size shrimp, it is a must have! We then shared the arrugula salad that was also delicious. Keep in mind we came in for a snack but the menu was so good we decided to split three courses and we did not regret it or the company of the bartender, she was very fun. At one point we even met, I believe, one of the owners, the chef's wife, she was lovely! The last course we had was the long bone pork chop- wow, wow- outstanding! So glad we shared, it was delicious, and so much food even for the two of us but honestly delicious. Where so many places in the Miami market are over priced, pretentious, and we find the the food fair this restaurant was such a welcome surprise and a place I would definitely recommend and come back to. Hats off to the chef! The shrimp tacos and pork are killer! Don't change them or take them off the menu!
My beau and I went to this restaurant on a wym. We wanted to try a new restaurant and we were thoroughly satisfied. The service was great and the ambiance was nice and quaint. The ribs are to die for. It was definitely a nice night out. Would definitely go back
LOLA'S WAS EXCEPTIONAL. OUR WAITER (CARLOS) WAS EXCELLENT AND HIS RECOMMENDATIONS WERE ON QUE. THE FOOD WAS VERY TASTEFUL AND PRESENTATION WAS EXCEPTIONAL. GREAT SPOT FOR A ROMANTIC OR SPECIAL DATE. VERY REASONABLY PRICED MENU ALSO.
IF I COULD GIVE 10 STARS I WOULD.
This was our second time there and we were not disappointed. So far everything we have tried there is imaginative, meticulously prepared and incredibly flavorful! The descriptions on the menu sound like "old friends;" the chef, however, has breathed now life into these dishes. We will be back!!
We went to Lola's on a friend's recommendation. The service was great Audra and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our meals. We also loved the location, we had not been to Harrison Street before. For us, dinner at Lola's is worth the 30 minute drive
Lola's is a local gen and a favorite place for a guaranteed delicious meal every time. Lola's is consistently relaxing, peaceful, stress-free and reliable. The food is always exquisitely prepared -never a miss. Finishing with one of the sumptuous choices of desserts will leave you coming back for more.
This was the 2nd time we have been to Lola's. It took awhile to be waited on and it seemed they were short staffed for a Friday night. It was a fully packed restaurant. The food was great (like before) and the bread was definitely worth mentioning. The Nutella cheesecake phenomenal.
We have returned to Lola's again and again. It is, hands down, the best restaurant in downtown Hollywood, and one of the best restaurants in South Florida. We always start with the brie appetizer--sensational! I usually get the steak frites, which is delicious. My wife often gets the crab cakes with a side of spinach, and loves it!.
We have gone to Lola's so many times, that they know us well--the waiter brings my iced tea to the table as soon as I sit down and knows the wine my wife loves. Service is always top notch.
There's a reason why Lola's has stayed open in an often difficult downtown restaurant environment. It deserves your business, whether for a special occasion or just a special meal.
Lovely, quaint restaurant with unusual dishes. The portobello tacos and crab cake were our starters followed by a beet and goat cheese mixed greens salad. Our main entrees were the pork chop and shrimp special. Everything was served hot and was so delicious. For dessert we opted for the bread pudding that I couldn't devour fast enough. What a great finale to a wonderful dining experience.
We brought my mother-in -law to Lola's for Mother's Day dinner. The food was great, service perfect, and we all had an excellent outing to Lola's
We love this place and look forward to dining there again at the end of the month. Happy hour is great, Experience it, and you will make dinner reservations for the next visit.
