About Lola's on Harrison
Opened in 2007, it remains a bastion of contemporary, American, upscale comfort food. Recently, the restaurant was taken over by Chef Bob Mignola, whose resume includes Smith & Wollensky in Miami Beach and The Post House in Manhattan. Mignola has worked with renowned Chef's David Burke, Bobby Flay & Michelle Bernstein. Mignola is breathing new life into this already outstanding dining establishment.
From the extraordinary boutique wine list, the seemingly endless selection of craft beers, an imaginative and alluring cocktail menu, to the offerings of artfully prepared cuisine, no step has been missed in selecting and preparing the finest and freshest of ingredients. Mignola will be showing off his culinary talents by introducing specials to compliment Lola's favorite selections such as the Coca Cola® Short Ribs and the Crab Cakes, which remain on the menu.

Lola's on Harrison Ratings and Reviews
We were guaranteed a particular table when we made our reservation only to find out that when we arrived our table was used to accommodate someone else. This was very disappointing but not as disappointing as when the bill arrived. The price was outrageous for the quality of the food we had. We will never return to this restaurant.
Did a search online for nice restaurants in Hollywood. Glad Lola's popped up. Went for a birthday dinner. I knew just looking at the menu we had found a new place to add to our Favorites list. We loved the food. We fought over the leftovers the next day. I was very impressed at the Wines and Beers available. Make reservations for weekends or holidays. Thanks Lola's.
When we looked online my son was a bit scheptical but when we arrived to the restaurant it was nice. He had the BBQ beef ribs and considered them to be the best ribs he's had, the food presentation was as good as the food. My wife was very happy with our choice. Great food, Atmaspher and service.
The location is nicely situated in an area where walking exposes you to quaint little shops. The dining area was loud and distracting for small parties of 2. The survey's option of "energetic" is misleading. We were first timers from out of state looking for a nice non-mall area restaurant and Lola's high marks pointed us in their direction. We were the only "different" ethnic group in the restaurant and felt a little out of place with patron stares. We were similarly dressed in semi casual attire. Maybe it was paranoia. Not a great visit, not a terrible visit but we won't return for seconds.
Let's start with the very good...Lola's has great food. Nothing really esoteric or fancy on the menu, but it's fine cuisine -- well prepared, well presented and it tastes fantastic. The evening we chose was during the height of tourist season and it was both crowded and noisy, but that wasn't much of a distraction from the fact that the food was the star. Less of a star was the wait staff, which is spotty. Our server was not very good at all -- seemingly too busy to be bothered with us for most of the evening, didn't take time to describe the highlights for those who were clearly new to the restaurant. At a neighboring table, the server was far better, far more attentive, took time to describe menu highlights.
Everything was excellent. Rarely do I order a pork chop when I am out to dinner because it is never great. The waiter highly recommended it, and sure enough it was outstanding. The tartare and corn dog apps were on the money and my widest burger first rate. We will definitely be back soon.
Had the veal oscar. Previously, it was delicious; after this time, I wouldn't order it again. Tough, lots of fat and gristle, only a few edible ounces. Server was not the usual top notch professional; nice, but not ready for a restaurant like this. Disappointed compared to two previous visits. It's pricey, so I expect excellence here, not just okay.
I think the restaurant must have had an off night because I noticed that a lot of the guests were regular since they were calling the staff by name.
The food overall was terrible. The baked brie was about the only thing that was good.
The ribs, chicken milanese, & dessert were all bad.
We live in Lauderdale but had business to attend to in Hollywood. So of course we looked at our Open Table app for dining insight. You never let us down. Due to other diners info we found Lola's!!! All these years and this incredible find was 5 miles away!! From the moment we walked in we were treated like the only people there. Our waiter gave us the history of the restaurant and its chef as well as very detailed information on the entrees. We can usually find what we want with only one return visit from server but we sent him away two more times as this small but exquisite menu had our mouths watering. My biggest pet peeve is being rushed. The timing between apps, salads and entrees was perfect. It is expensive but worth every bite!
awesome food, great service! the appetizers took about 15 minutes to get to the table, but it took like 1.5 hours to get our dinner! we were hungry. it was worth the wait because the food is sooooo good. Dont go if you are in a rush, but definitely GO!! The best food on this side of town for SURE!
Loved everything about the place. The food choices seemed ordinary yet the chef made them special.I am a picky vegetarian who walks away from most places unhappy.I ate everything but the meat .They happily wrapped the turkey for me so my two dogs could enjoy it later.Really liked the place and I will be back. Also loved the cozy feel of a smaller place.
