   Walleye dinner was overcooked. Unusual for Lola’s and they did take care of it and remove the charge. Just disappointing.

   Olivia was our server. Did a nice job. Love the ambiance by the lake, fireplace, rustic etc. It’s a neighborhood favorite of ours for date-night, friends get-together, or business. Food is good. No issues.

    Wonderful location and service. Noise level can be high at times, and difficult to have a conversation. Our visit was not too bad this time. We also think Lola's prices are a little too high for Waconia.

    Lola’s is super cute. The service was friendly and prompt. Food was amazing. The Brussels sprout appetizer happy hour special is a great value. It’s a huge serving, usually the four of us fight over them but there were plenty. Three out of four of us got steak salads and they were delicious.

    Great service by Julie. Food was good (2 of us had the Sea Bass — very small portion for the price, 1 had the pasta, which was great, and 1 had the porkchops — huge portion). Atmosphere is always good. Service has been very consistent. Food was good but a bit over priced especially the sea bass.

    I joined friends at Lola’s Restaurant last night in Waconia. I had the lobster and shrimp risotto. They now charge $4 for a bread to go with your meal. Came to around $46. The waitress had us pay electronically through a phone app. The choices for a tip started at 20% and went up to 40%. I was a little peeved at the assumption. I requested she give me the option to choose a different amount for a tip. She was specific in stating to the table that my tip was 16%. My friend chose the 20% even though the meal and service were only very basic. I’m amazed at how people are afraid to leave less even though they may want to do so. The waitress made her wage and about $25 for the hour we were there. I didn’t think the service or the food was exceptional enough to warrant paying a higher amount.

    I ordered Fish & Chips, my wife ordered soup, plus an order of cheese curds to share. My fish came out completely curled not laying flat like you would expect. It was completely dry and tasteless. The tarter sauce was 95% mayo and added nothing to enhance the taste of the fish. I’ve ordered fish & chips many times at other restaurants and this was by far the worst. The fries, cheese curds and my wife’s soup were good. This was a dinner to celebrate 47 years of marriage. Unfortunately the meal was nothing to celebrate.

    Food was delicious. Had the Seabass and lobster and shrimp risotto . Server was good. We were disappointed we were seated at a very small table; I asked to be moved and same hostess gave us a different table and again slightly larger table bur smaller chairs next to loud small children and near the kitchen. It would’ve been OK except I could see the other tables in the dining room by the fireplace wide-open all night. It was our anniversary, so it mattered to me, but thankfully the food and the server were great.

    Food was excellent. I had sturgeon for the first time and enjoyed every bite. Our waitress was outstanding! Other than for three children running through the dining area and making way too much noise, our evening was great.

    I wrote a review already on yelp. Disappointing at best. Celebrating a birthday that was never acknowledged. Our server was there for the basics. Did not engage us in conversation or check to see if we needed anything after our food arrived. She dropped the check off before we were finished eating. Plates were cleared and we were not done eating. Felt rushed. Tip was included already. Minimum was 20%. She’s fortunate. Sorry. Nice atmosphere but ver poor service and friendliness. I would recommend for the view and the ambience but that’s it.

    Loved Lola's. We went for my birthday and had a great time with good food and a friendly staff. The view was great being on the water. Four of us in the family shared 4 meals so that we could try several things and everything was great.

    Went there for our 20th wedding anniversary. Waitress was very attentive and very kind. Sitting outside by the lake and the meal made the anniversary memorable! Love their lobster bisque (would just like alittle but if lobster chunks, but I order it every time I am there!)

    Absolutely loved the patio, it was a beautiful evening to sit and enjoy a cocktail and a fantastic meal. Only minor complaint would be that our food was only warm, would have preferred it hotter but was still delicious.

    Our local go-to place. Overall very good on all fronts. Very consistent each time we've gone. You know what your experience will be like, which is good especially when you invite guests. They do need to address the bee problem, which has eliminated outdoor seating.
