I ordered Margaritas Pizza. It was REALLY bad! The crust, the fake cheese, all of it. & our wait staff rushed us, made us feel like we are less than because we did not order a $30 rib dinner.
Reserved a table for Valentine's day but the dim and somewhat private booths where reserve signs were posted were not available to us when I arrived, even though I reserved tables 2 days in advance. We were redirected to sit a table, still a nice setting. Food was delicious. Server was awesome. I'll definitely go back to this lovely restaurant. I can only imagine how beautiful it is in the summer.
We made a reservation ahead for Valentine's Day and requested a booth if available, and we were seated immediately upon arrival and in a booth as requested. For dinner we ordered the walleye and the scallops, and both were wonderful! Service was excellent as well.
Lola's is a great little restaurant. My wife and I have always enjoyed coming there and sitting on the lake watching boats drive by in the summer and snowmobilers in the winter. The food is good and the scenery is awesome.
Wonderful service, awesome atmosphere! The chicken wild rice soup was second to none!
We both ordered walleye. The crunch was nice. However, it was dry and overpoweringly garlicky. The potatoes were likewise overpoweringly seasoned. It felt like they were trying way too hard to be fancy, and fell well short. Would most definitely not recommend either. Since you asked, I'd simply say "tone it down". So, other than the soup, the service and the atmosphere, overall it ended up being an overpriced, disappointing meal.
We will likely return at some point, but will order a burger or steak instead.
I had the walley it was mushy and cold when served to me they did replace it with and a discount
The food was very good however it was very overpriced for what you received. My husband had the cast iron skillet which had no fish or shrimp.
This was my first time there--my other two guests were there before. My only comment was on the service--was slow--they were busy but not to the point where we had to ask for our cocktails twice. Food was good.
My boyfriend and I were celebrating our 3 year anniversary! It was just the right atmosphere for us. We will definitely go back! He had the walleye and it was delicious! I had the chicken penne which was tasty too, but Lola's speciality is definitely the seafood options.
I love Lola’s! We have never been disappointed. We have been there for date night dinners, with groups, Sunday brunch, all 4 seasons, in the bar listening to music, girls’ night out. You name it! Enjoyed it every time.
