Amazing food and amazing service!
Charbroiled oysters overcooked and Étouffée runny. Servers slow bring out food and refill on drinks.
Hire someone with Cajun food knowledge. This place has some potential with a little help....
We enjoyed our meals along with the fried oysters for an appetizer and bread pudding for dessert. My crayfish etoffee was excellent as was the catfish with shrimp and grits that my wife ordered. The music was good until they played the same songs over and over, that ruined the ambiance for us
I was referred to this restaurant by a couple of people and despite my many disappointments with food in Las Vegas, I thought I'd give them a try. The food was bland and left a lot to be desired. The Crawpuppies were mushy and tasteless, the charbroiled oysters looked like have the oyster had been cut out as there was barely a forkful per oyster. We did enjoy the hot crab and artichoke dip but the appetizer was cheapened by serving it with tortilla chips. The mardi gras combo had never been near New Orleans... it lacked seasoning and nothing was fried to a crisp leaving the platter... soggy. Lastly, our waiter was MIA most times, never stopping by to get my husband's order and tried to charge me nearly double for a top-shelf whiskey upgrade on my drink. Nonetheless, I definitely felt overcharged and underwhelmed.
Delicious food. Amazing service. Will be back many times.
Food excellent and authentic. Service was wonderful
The music, the feel of New Orleans and the food made it just a fantastic experience and meal!
The food, the ambiance, everything was great! The service was a little slow for how small the restaurant is, but I still highly recommend it! The cocktails are also great!
We love going here the food is always good as well as the service. Unfortunately this time everything was great except for my Bananas Foster the bananas in my opinion were just too green but this has been the only thing we have ever had wrong. We informed our server and he apologized and didnt charge us for it. I cant wait to go back
Good was very enjoyable. The way staff was attentive, but the waitress had too many tables to attend which slowed down our service.
We went to the downtown LV location first only to find it closed. So we headed out to Summerlin and were seated right away because I had made a reservation.
I ordered the crab cake starter and a bowl of red beans and rice. My husband ordered the fried oyster po-boy. We waited quite some time before our food was served. My crab cake and the red beans and rice were both luke warm. The red beans/rice dish was the consistency of mud. While there was lots of chunks of sausage in the dish, it was scant on beans and rice which I found odd because the dish is called red beans and rice. My own homemade version is much creamery packed with lots of rice and beans, along with sausage, shrimp and chicken. The flavor on both the crab cake and rice dish was decent, although I wish they were served hotter in temperature.
My husband indicated his oyster sandwich was good, he gave it a 7 out of 10, stating the oysters were crispy and so was the bread and with good flavor. When pressed about why only a "7", he said the sandwich needed more sauce and/or greens because it was kind of dry, too much bread. He added the oysters had good flavor and were not overcooked.
Fried Oyster Po Boy Sandwich is always my favorite here! As always, service was exceptional.
Was out of their popular dishes like Gumbo, Etouffe and Crawfish. What we had was very good.
Food was awful and the waitress new it. We had the DDD recommend special and crab cakes. We told the waitress and she said in a sarcastic mannie yeah it's five star. No discount nothing and it was expensive.
I felt the the food was very good, but there wasn't enough of it for the price. I don't think it's worth the drive to Summerlin. It was very noisy.
Great food, waiter kept on referring to us as “you three”. Annoying. Frankly, I don’t care if a waiter or waitress introduces themselves. I do not want to make chit chat with them either. Your job is to bring me my food and drinks ... don’t ask me continuously how my food is, if something was wrong I will let you know. Trust me.
The manager/owner did come over and thanked us for our patronage ... that was nice.
Overall a great place for drinks and eats.
Excellent food! Friendly, attentive staff.
Great food! The best cajun we've had since New Orleans.
We arrived at our reservation time and the hostess did not seem to be able to figure out where to seat us. After being seated, we waited for quite a while before anyone waited on us. The portions of gouda grits and crawpuppies were very small. We never got a refill of our water glasses. Overall, it was a bad experience.
Always a good New Orleans meal. Love those hurricanes!!
Disappointing. Went because of Diner’s Drives-Ins and Dives. Had the crab cake appetizer which was just ok, catfish which seemed to be overpowered with blackened saltiness in an attempt to come across as “cajun” and grits which were flavorless and portion size small which was a blessing. Had the pecan pie but that was pitiful too. Just disappointing.
Thought I was at home in New Orleans eating. It was that good.
Shrimp etouffee, gouda grits, shrimp Charlotte, the loaded jambalaya and bronze shrimp and grits.
The service was pretty good but the food was not anything like we thought it would be very basic almost commercial.
Wonderful Louisiana cuisine! It's my place for special occasions, but excellent any time!
The food and service was amazing! Loved the live music!
Took a good friend and Cajun food newbie here for Christmas Eve dinner.
Made reservations, and when we showed up were seated immediately.
Our server, Kelly was attentive and fun.
We had Abita beer, crawpuppies and roast oysters to start off.
For dinner I had my most favorite meal - Tchoupitoulas.
Josh had the loaded Jambalaya and pronounced it to die for.
Dessert was beignets and good coffee.
Perfect meal, great service and will guarantee a return trip soon!
Outstanding! Felt like I was transported back to New Orleans. Couldn’t have had better Louisiana Cajun food.
Second trip to Lola's. Amazing food. Fried oysters are as good or better than those I, as a native Texan, have enjoyed on the Texas Gulf coast.
Food was amazing and the customer service was top notch.
The gumbo was fantastic but the catfish strips were few and overpriced. Very little meat on the poutine and what was there was REALLY stringy and tough. Stick with the gumbo and jambalaya.
Great southern menu and accompanying hospitality. Have and will continue to enjoy the Summerlin location.
I’ve visited Lola’s a few times already. Each time I’ve gone the service has been stellar. The food however, isn’t always as memorable due to lack of consistency. But I will say, tonight’s visit was very good. I enjoyed my dinner and dessert very much, as did my guest.
Enjoyed the Shrimp & Gouda Grits. Always our favorite dish. Was just the right amount. Also had crap artichoke dip with bread for appetizer. Bread was toasted just right and was light & soft. Bread pudding for dessert was delicious. This location in Summerlin has a lot more space in between tables than the one on Charleston. So you don’t feel crowded. Both locations are great. Our server was very attentive & great personality.
We LOVE Lola’s! You must try the chargrilled oysters! Excellent service and yummy food. We also do their family meal take outs. Great value and the food is always delicious!
The best New Orleans style food in Las Vegas. Better than more expensive places on the strip.
