   We were running late and the hostess was very understanding. Lisa was our server. She was excellent. In general the food was good, although a fried oyster had an off flavor. This particular Friday Lola’s had band playing. For the short time we had it sounded pretty good. My guest had a Moscow Mule. She could tell the ginger beer was not a top quality compared to what she uses at home. All-in-all Lola’s is good and draws a good crowd from surrounding neighborhoods.

    Excellent food , casual ambience, very good and friendly service, everything on the menu is delicious we were group of 4 and we tried different dishes. Worth mentioning are the oysters and the apple bread pudding. Highly recommend this place when in Las Vegas and would like to eat like the locals.

    Absolutely phenomenal. We had a reservation and arrived a few minutes early and were seated promptly. Very very attentive service. Food was exceptional. Anita beers were served cold. Definitely a repeat favorite of ours when we visit Vegas. And the LSU win over Bama while eating Southern cuisine made the night even more memorable. Lots of TVs to watch football and baseball and after the games we enjoyed live music at Lola’s.

    Great catfish, greens and don't miss the gouda grits. If you have a sweet tooth, the bread pudding, bananas foster, banana pudfing will hit the spot.

    We just moved to Las Vegas, and this was our first time to this restraint (recommend) and at first, I loved the place. Not crowded (it was a Tuesday). My wife and I love New Orleans and the food, so when we heard of this place, we wanted to give it a try. I had looked on the menu and was looking forward to some blackened catfish. My wife doesn't like spicy food but found something on the menu that she loved. Now for me, we sat down, I ordered a martini with olive, came with a lemon twist, no big deal the waiter took it back and I got my olive. Then I ordered my blackened catfish our meals came; my catfish was chicken (over cooked and dry). I ate about half and keep thinking this catfish has no taste, then I realized it was chicken! The salads and dessert were great, and I guess we will go back to have BLACKENED CATFISH......

    My wife and I had high hopes, as we both love creole, southern food. Unfortunately, it wasn't a good experience from the jump. Walked in and immediately looked around for someone to welcome us in, no one. Three employees walked around, looked in our direction and didn't say a word. They we're clearly understaffed. After being seated to a table, our waiter to arrive about 10 mins later. He was pleasant, took our initial drink order which felt like it took a little longer than usual to get considering that they were not busy for a Wednesday evening. Shortly after we ordered a couple appetizers - Crawpuppies and Fried Okra Basket along with our dinner - Catfish & Grits, Loaded Jambalaya and Lola's Gouda Grits. Here's where things fell short for us. The Crawpuppies were small to say the least, and a little dry. Fried Okra and remoulade was good. Catfish & Grits comes two ways, but we weren't told at the time we ordered. We assumed, based on all the pictures, the catfish would be served fried. It didn't. (we "never' complain or ask for a dish to be replaced) but this plate came out cold and not what we thought it was going to be. More later on this later. The Jumbalaya came out good, it was decent but rice was somewhat dry. Lola's Gouda Grits - I had high hopes for this, and while it tasted ok, it was clear that it had been made hours before being served. Back to the Catfish.... we had been waiting 15+ minutes before anyone asked if everything was ok. We asked why the catfish came out grilled and were told it was an option at the time of ordering, which was not brought to our attention initially. After 20+ mins waiting for the new plate, it looked as if it was quickly put together. The grits were not good and the andouille sausage was cold. Probably moved over from the previous plate. Catfish looked quickly fried. Sadly, this was NOT a good experience and we unfortunately we will not be back. If you want real creole food, maybe pass on Lola's.

    Lola's is a Las Vegas Staple and a great chance to enjoy some great Louisiana cuisine. Location is fabulous in Summerlin and Some of the highlights were the Shrimp and Grits and the Gumbo. The Desserts are incredible, featuring the Bananas Foster and the Banana Pudding. Bananas Foster was particularly delicious. Very well made. The Treat of this visit, however, was being able to meet the General Manager, Tami Jo. She was just a breath of fresh air and the difference maker for the experience. It was great to talk to her about the venue and Lola and the history of the restaurant. She is indeed a gem for Lolas. Looking forward to coming back to see her soon..

    We have been there several times all good. However we were a little disappointed this time. Table was sticky even though it was just wiped off. The very expensive dozen grilled oysters which we have ordered multiple times were overcooked and of the 12 we could only find 1 oyster in a shell. My soft shelled crab was over fried and greasy. Sweet potato fries were hard inside. My moms GRILLED MED RARE salmon came blackened and dry. The server never came back to check on us until we were done and asked if we wanted desert. It was a no. She whipped out the bill and hurried away. The people next to us were disappointed as well, they were brought their dinner before their appetizers. I hope this was an isolated night. We really have always enjoyed and recommended Lolas in the past. Will try again and let you know. Everyone has an off night.

    It was a nice place to eat. The atmosphere was pleasant, however, it would have been nice if the speakers out in the patio would have played music rather than the football game. Food was delicious. The crab cakes had a ton of crab, not filled with veggies and breadcrumbs. It was good for a less expensive place than on the strip.

    Lola’s is a great place to eat if you like Cajun food but since Covid, the prices went way up and the portions are about half of what they were. It’s quite sad to see where they are now. That being said, the food was very good, service was great, we would recommend to friends.

    Prices up. Portions/quality down. For years I have ordered my favorite dish: The Tchoupitoulas - "Crawfish etouffe over fried catfish served over steamed rice". Previously $22.99 (see website). Now $25.00. This time there was not a single crawfish on my dish. However, there was an option to add 3 shrimp to the dish for an additional $8.00. A small portion of fish over steamed rice with a bit of flavorless white sauce over the rice. Very disappointing. Definitely not worth 1/4 + tax and gratuity of $100.00.
