Great food! Place is a little loud. Smashed potatoes had a little too much salt. Our server mistakenly put an Orange skin in my Manhattan. Turns out, it was Great!
Love Lola for lunch! The menu is delicious and everything is great. I especially love the salmon kebabs with the Greek salad and a side of crispy potatoes. The service is quick and attentive and they are able to get you in and out within your lunch hour.
Wonderful waitstaff. An extra person came to the business lunch. They moved tables for us seamlessly.
Every dish was a la carte and portions were small . They didn't offer a sample platter. Spent 200 dollars for four and walked away hungry.
Had lunch with very special friends. All had a great time. Waitstaff is awesome
Always great food and service! Wine list is a bit limited. Maybe something other than State of WA wines?
Had the usual great food and experience, and this time around the service was even more stellar than usual! Hard to beat, easy to love.
Entire staff is a joy to talk with
Excellent meal. Greek standards with variations. Everything was delicious. Exceptional service.
It was our first time there. It was busy, and they got us in right away. Great service. Food was amazing!
The food was amazing and our waitress was very friendly and knowledgeable!
Good service, great food, fantastic experience...would definitely recommend Lola’s!
Great donuts! Great service!
Best breakfast in Seattle.
Great, relaxed atmosphere with delicious food. Tried a good variety of the menu and everything was amazing but the Spaghetti w/ Mizithra was thes best ... almost ordered a 2nd helping! Will come back to try more for sure
I found the overall experience to be disappointing although the atmosphere was warm and inviting. The cake was very dry and the quality of the food did not match the price in my opinion. I found the wait staff to be condescending and rude and did not enjoy my experience. I would not recommend.
Great food!! The service was great, it was over all great!
Trout was good. Portions a bit small. Service was good.
Good service but disappointed with items not available on the menu early in the evening.
Lovely meal and oh so tasty! The Spanikorizo was out of this world!
A bit limited
Lola is one of my favorite restaurants in that area of Seattle. Great options for vegans too.
Thoughtful & outstanding service, food was great ... hadn't been in some time and it is still consistently a top place to eat in Seattle.
Valentine’s Day dinner. Excellent food and service.
We enjoyed our meal. Small portions for the price, but I wouldn’t want much more. Very flavorful kebabs and Greek salad.
Great service. Very helpful in customizing a meal with a couple substitutions.
The food is always good. Portions are not large, but I'm always satisfied.
Great food. It was several years since I’ve been there. Nice that the standard has not changed. Can’t wait to come again
They were unable to serve the Idaho trout - an entree that had been talked up by our friends and that we had really been looking forward to. Ran out, they said. Other than that the service was slow and it was near-impossible to get the attention of the waiting staff. I ordered fried cauliflower as a side dish but it never came. The waiter seems to have forgotten. Finally the chicken kebabs were disappointing. They were sumptuously listed on the menu but in reality were barely passing grade. The term “kebab” evokes exotic flavours and delicate aromas. Lola’s version was like a McDonald’s version of a kebab - if that.
Lola is one of our favorite restaurants in Seattle for breakfast for over ten years. We ate there all four mornings we were there during this trip and look forward to our return. Our server confirmed that the breakfast potatoes had recently been changed and wondered if we had noticed the difference. We confirmed that we had and that they were as good as the previous version.
There was a slight wait even though we had a reservation. The tables around us were quite loud especially one where they even brought an extra chair up that blocked the aisle. The service was slow. We had not received water until after we ordered and there is no bread for the table. Our dinners were brought out by someone other than our server. The lamb burger was good but sparsely garnished. The Seafood was overpriced and underwhelming. They forgot the orzo in the dish and since our waitress didn’t check on us for a long time it didn’t get corrected until after we were halfway through. She actually took a clean spoon from the wait station and put it in my meal to see if there was orzo in the dish. I could see it wasn’t there but if you put so little in that you can’t see it without putting a spoon in then you need to revise your recipe. I’ve never had a server actually touch my food in this way. The manager did comp our drinks and gave us a dessert as we mentioned that things were just “ok” but we weren’t in the mood to give a real complaint. The final kicker is that in the bill they charged an automatic 20% tip on the full bill. This was mostly a server error and I would not have tipped. I believe my bill should not reflect a tip and the seafood should have been removed or drastically reduced.
We went to Lola for our Valentine's Day dinner. After talking to our server, we decided to do the Dinner for Two. The pita took a little bit longer to come out than we anticipated (about 45 minutes), but there was so much food we hardly noticed by the end. It was a wonderful experience and we would be happy to return.
Another excellent breakfast!
The food was sublime and the service was amazing. Our server was Ali.
The food is consistently of very high quality and it is what we have enjoyed when dining at Lola. Our server was very personable and thorough. We enjoyed talking with her and look forward to another breakfast.
We met friends at Lola at 6:15 pm before an 8 pm movie @Cinerama, and informed our server that we had tickets for the 8:00 film. However, our food didn't show up until 7:35. It was hard to appreciate the combination of flavors as we rushed to eat full entries, settle the bill and be out the door by 7:55. Worst service we've had at any restaurant in a long time (and not even an apology).
Good week-day meet-up place for lunch. Recommend making reservations as they get very busy but you don't have to make them much in advance (night before always works for me). Service is always spot-on and attentive.
Did not love it. Did not feel like it was worth the price tag. I've had other similar meals at nearby restaurants that cost less and tasted better.
First, Tim is consistently awesome and always personable. My husband and I always hope we get him when we visit! (That and your made-to-order doughnuts.) ;)
Unfortunately, we didn’t get Tim this time—the young lady who did wait on us was pleasant but clearly overwhelmed and we hardly saw her. So-so there. But we did get to talk to Tim and he told us some funny jokes, so there was that.
I love Lola...a few years ago I discovered the unique European feel, and felt so pampered by the coffee served in French press pots, amazing doughnuts, and delicious breakfast with perfectly baked potatoes. Sadly this time, I was disappointed to find no French press pots and the potatoes were badly over cooked...as if they had been left too long in a warming oven. Some were like rocks and completely non edible. I hope Lola was just having a bad day and is not going downhill. I'll be back for the doughnuts for sure...but the rest was a bit disappointing.
