Lola Seattle

Our seating is right in front of the cashier, bartender station and waiting station. Maybe we visited during a down time. Everybody would gathered there and chit chat.... it felt cluster and it felt weird while they were chit chatting, they would look at the table... makes me a little self conscious about how I eat. Go somewhere else and chit chat!

Food is outstanding! Great service and ambiance!

I always look forward to dining at a Tom Douglas restaurant. Food was good though not excellent. The Greek salad was good, not great. The biggest disappointment were the smashed garlic potatoes, not very garlicky at all, seemed to need more moisture, maybe an aioli? I had the flank steak. It was very good, perfectly cooked, just not fantastic, always my expectation at Tom Douglas’ places. Solid wine list. Great service.

We were celebrating a birthday and had a leisurely lunch, not rushed and totally nurtured through the celebratory meal. Service, atmosphere and food were as usual superb! Lola has a special place in my heart!

Lola was fabulous! Great tasting food, but on the high side for the portions. Our waiter Jamie was amazing all her suggestions were spot on. Highly recommend the fried broccoli. Bar even customized me a grapefruit drink and it was to die for- I had to have two :)

Our server forgot a couple of items we ordered that we ended up cancelling. Could have been a better experience if that had not happened. Also I noted that the special occasion was for a birthday and thought they would have made a note of that and done or said something special, which was not the case either.

I always enjoy going to Lolas for breakfast. It is great food and the service is terrific.

We recently took our two teens to Lola (their first time, but not ours) . The food was good (as usual)and our water was knowledgeable about the menu and recommended some things to try and how many plates to order.

The booths are tiny, probably due to the size and shape of the restaurant, and the place is quite loud. We had to nearly shout at each other across the table to carry on a conversation. Admittedly it was a Saturday night and the place was packed.

Service was fairly slow, but not terrible. They automatically but a 20% service charge on every bill.

Brunch was really good, def recommend! Need a reso on the weekend though Place gets packed!

Brunch here was delicious! The made-to-order donuts are not to be missed. Service was stellar as well.

As always, Lola provides a fabulous brunch. Can't wait to go back !

Server didn’t seem
Like she wanted to be at work. Which is odd for. Tom Douglas restaurant. They are all normally so happy and engaging.

Prompt service, wonderful food. Cooked perfectly. Loved the Greek salad, fried broccoli and lamb and salmon kabobs.

For a place that is popular and has been a Seattle dining fixture for a long time, the food this time was uneven and seriously disappointing as a whole. A very good soup was followed by dolmades that were really cold (fresh out of the refrigerator) and overly oily. The lamb skewers were small and dry/ The seafood tagine was very oddly spiced, the clams seemed to deal with it, the crab did not benefit. Time to move on to other restaurants.

Our waitress was great. The food was OK. The pumpkin pie was the best I had ever tasted.

Exceptional service, gracious hospitality but overall the food was disappointing. Overcooked short ribs, super tough grapeleaves on the dolmades and somewhat flavorless, lamb shank was just bits of super tough meat and bits of fat oversaturated in some kind of undestinguishable sauce. Not "shanky" at all, definitely not delicious and nothing calling me back. Not a good value for what we ordered.

We ate here two times in the week. Both meals were delicious. The standard menu (Greek) was truly exceptional. We ate there again for thanksgiving and the food was also quite good. We will be dining there again. We cannot wait to try the breakfast/brunch items.

Great flavors and the staff was super considerate of giving time to talk and very prompt with great food and help.

Excellent service, food and ambiance. Drinks were delicious. Other reviews have complained about the proportions but every dish was a wonderful blend of flavors and quite a treat. Worth the price. Service was too notch even with automatic 20 percent.

Service was great but food was horrible. Chicken was so salty, inedible. Salmon was over cooked, and bones in every piece.

The bad: Our dinners were just terrible. The lamb shank was a tough lamb stew. The rice was over cooked. The short ribs were inedible and the accompanying carrots were woody. The coconut creme pie was nothing to write home about. This was supposed to be a special birthday dinner and we were seated next to the server's station that was loud and busy and annoying.

The pro: The klefsthenes meatball appetizer was good. The server did not charge us for one meal.

I love Lola, always such delicious food with a lovely dinner setting.

The customer service was excellent. The food was delicious. The noise level was quite loud at 8p, but did quiet some by 9p.

We were celebrating our 27th anniversary and We felt special that our wait staff gifted us each a glass of champagne— that was delightful

Excellent dinner. We had the beets with an apple muhammara, split pea soup, squash wrapped in filo, chicken kabobs and an apple crisp. All executed perfectly, tastes excellent, and the staff just wonderful to be with for an evening. The soup’s a favorite. The squash was combined with feta yogurt and radish. The tastes came together perfectly. The Muhammara is interesting combined with the Apple. Beets are near perfection. The kabobs were perfectly prepared. The apple crisp was likewise as good as can be. Great night.

Food is good but the value for the food is fair at best. We had breakfast, lox with two eggs and toast with bacon and tomatoes, orange juice, grapefruit juice, coffee and tea, almost 80.00.

Warm wonderful service.

Love this spot for breakfast, lunch or dinner. One of my favorite Tom Douglas spots!

Waitress walked us through the options. Diner was easy to share family style so we tried several dishes. Our only complaint is we didn’t leave enough room for the fabulous desserts!

Amazing as always our waiter Lori was great! Pancakes are a must!

Did not agree with the enforced 20 percent tip..makes you question the entire experience and how worthwhile it is. A tip is to insure prompt service. A tip is earned ...not a right. It isn’t just showing up for work or to balance out pay

I’ve eaten here a number of times, and the food has always been good. But this visit, foodwise, was disappointing. I got the Restaurant Week meal, which was a seafood stew. Lukewarm, overcooked, and lacking in taste. As though the spices got left out. The service was great as always. And the dessert of goat cheese turnovers was delicious. But that seafood. Bummer.

Great vegetarian options - both the mushroom and haloumi cheese kebobs were tasty!

Always excellent food & service.

Eggs Benedict are the way to go. Make sure to splurge on the donuts. Only reason for overall service being less was paying 20% on a bottle of bubbles.

Lovely server with long magenta balls earrings. So kind and efficient. Great tasty brunch.
