Love Lola! Food and waitstaff are always great. Noise level is a bit too much at times would be my only critique
Great Service and food is outstanding!
We had breakfast and it was delicious.
Reservation is highly recommended since it is always busy.
Excellent dinner. We had the beets with an apple muhammara, split pea soup, squash wrapped in filo, chicken kabobs and an apple crisp. All executed perfectly, tastes excellent, and the staff just wonderful to be with for an evening. The soup’s a favorite. The squash was combined with feta yogurt and radish. The tastes came together perfectly. The Muhammara is interesting combined with the Apple. Beets are near perfection. The kabobs were perfectly prepared. The apple crisp was likewise as good as can be. Great night.
Thanks for dining with us. So glad you enjoyed it all. Hope to see you again soon at LOLA. Colleen K.
Food is good but the value for the food is fair at best. We had breakfast, lox with two eggs and toast with bacon and tomatoes, orange juice, grapefruit juice, coffee and tea, almost 80.00.
Warm wonderful service.
-Poor front of house staff, not friendly nor attentive staff
-food quality significantly decline in quality since we attended 7years ago
- very poor dining experience overall
Love this spot for breakfast, lunch or dinner. One of my favorite Tom Douglas spots!
Norman, We like hearing from people like you, and work hard to keep you coming in. Thanks for being a loyal customer. Hope to see you again soon --Tim
Waitress walked us through the options. Diner was easy to share family style so we tried several dishes. Our only complaint is we didn’t leave enough room for the fabulous desserts!
Amazing as always our waiter Lori was great! Pancakes are a must!
Did not agree with the enforced 20 percent tip..makes you question the entire experience and how worthwhile it is. A tip is to insure prompt service. A tip is earned ...not a right. It isn’t just showing up for work or to balance out pay
I’ve eaten here a number of times, and the food has always been good. But this visit, foodwise, was disappointing. I got the Restaurant Week meal, which was a seafood stew. Lukewarm, overcooked, and lacking in taste. As though the spices got left out. The service was great as always. And the dessert of goat cheese turnovers was delicious. But that seafood. Bummer.
Great vegetarian options - both the mushroom and haloumi cheese kebobs were tasty!
HI Autumn- So glad you enjoyed the mushroom and cheese kebabs. They are guest favorites!
Always excellent food & service.
Eggs Benedict are the way to go. Make sure to splurge on the donuts. Only reason for overall service being less was paying 20% on a bottle of bubbles.
Glad to hear that you liked the Bene and the Donuts. We’d love to see you again soon.
Lovely server with long magenta balls earrings. So kind and efficient. Great tasty brunch.
Thanks for the review. I will pass on your comments to the server. Shes a keeper. So glad you enjoyed your Brunch and service! --Tim
Lola has been a favorite since we learned of it many years ago and never disappoints. The staff is always friendly and responsive to any queries.
- Jackie's salad
- salmon was cooked absolutely perfectly
- the lamb shank was amazing
Could have been better:
- the beans that came with the lamb were undercooked (too hard)
- the service was just ok. For a place that automatically adds a 20% tip, a server that engages when we tried to would have been nice
- there was a table near us with a girl that was clearly intoxicated (she spilled her wine twice and staff helped clean it up, and was sleeping on her friends shoulder). Not the fault of the restaurant, but she should have been asked to leave, or at least cut off from the wine.
The food was a bit spendy for the portions.
Food was delicious. Allot of small plates that can be shared.
Thanks for the review. Sounds like you had the right system. Sharing a bunch of small plates is my favorite way to experience our menu. Glad you enjoyed everything.
A fantastic place for Seattle Restaurant week. We had great service and a very tasty 3 courses. Keftedes and Brizoles were the way to go. Great desserts too!
Thanks for the nice review. Now that you’ve dippped your toes in the water with restaurant week, I hope you will come try the rest of the menu.
Great food and service. Good for casual dining, family dining.
Food was okay, there is a 20% default tip added to the bill.
Great afternoon lunch. The host was very accommodating. Our server provided excellent recommendations and was knowledgeable regarding wine parings. The food was prepared and served to perfection. Loved the lamb kebabs and smashed garlic potatoes.
We’re happy to hear you had a great time here. Your server is an absolute pro, and I’m glad you enjoyed your time with her. I will pass on your kind words.
I had the cumin spiced lamb shawarma. The orzo side salad had an unexpected kick to it. Our lunch arrived minutes after we ordered. I can't wait to come back and try the squid kebab.
Thank you for the nice review. We also can't wait until you come back to try the squid. See you around.
Great food and service! Highly recommend the donuts, soo good 😋
Thanks for coming in and getting your donut fix! We look forward to seeing you again.
The appetizers were excellent. The lamb shank however had no salt and it was a little dried out. Kind of a bummer for $37.
Our dining experience at Lola was pretty good, but we felt it was a bit overpriced for what we got. The wine list was far too expensive for a place like it is. I ordered the steak and it was really good, and the rest of our food was OK, but Lola is not a place we would go back to with so many other great dining options in Seattle.
Stephanie was the perfect waitress. Another woman ( name?) noticed I left my phone on the table and ran after me to give it back. Thx!
Stephanie is great. It’s nice to hear that you liked her as much as we do.
The food is really great but just way too over-priced, I think. And the portion is too small. The server did emphasize that the portion is very small so that I should order multiple dishes and that 20% tip will be automatically included in the bill... all in a very business-like way.
Wonderful find....great food....friendly
I have been here several times. I just love this place. The food, the people, the vibe- all great. I went on a Sunday before the Seahawk's game so it was busy. I recommend reservations, which I did through Open Table. Our server was great and this place was busy! A little loud but we were into it.
We loved everything about our visit from DC. A unique and modern take on Greek food. We loved the food, the ambience and the service. We were made to feel like guests in someone’s home, especially the attention and take home box of donuts from the manager. If we had stayed longer, I would have gone back to savor other untried dishes.
Thank you for a lovely evening.
Susie, Thanks for the wonderful review. We’d love it if you’d come back. and try all the other items. Please join us on your next visit to Seattle.
Meal was layered with flavors. Baked carrots and flash fried broccoli was unique. The sampler with pita was delicious. Spare ribs were disappointing... basically beef jerky with bones. Not sure why they serve it like that.
Ambiance is great. It had been 10 years since I had been. I’d like to go back for breakfast.
Outstanding food and service
As always, great food! Service is always good too.
Great food and service. But it’s the staff that make it special. We were served by Reba at dinner and Lori at breakfast. Both are extraordinary people who were engaging, funny and wanted to make sure we had the best time. We’ll go back during our next Seattle trip.
OMG the donuts!!! The breakfast was awesome. A great chill place. Our waitress gave us plenty of space to really enjoy our meal and time together
The service and food were outstanding. Our one complaint is that all the food was brought out when we had just started drinking our cocktails. This should only be done when specifically requested.
Food and service was great but our table was v drafty as it was next to the door - recommend they get an entrance curtain for winter months
