Mediterranean
Chef Tori Mann presents rustic Mediterranean cuisine at Lola, another in the Tom Douglas family of exceptional downtown restaurants. Don’t miss our ouzo sizzling kebabs, steaming savory tagines or our grilled to order pita bread, brought to us fresh from our own Dahlia bread bakery right across the street, twice daily. Located in the heart of the bustling Belltown neighborhood, Lola offers the perfect urban dining experience in it’s upbeat environment, just minutes from downtown shopping and theatre to the south and great music and night life to the north on fourth avenue. We’re committed to a green community, composting 75% of waste and supporting our local growers.

One of the best dinners I have had in my life (63 yrs.)!
Rebecca our waitress was great to us, navigating the menu to select complimentary dishes.
Thank you Tom Douglas

Fantastic brunch. Omelette with smashed potatoes and Lola Breakfast were favorites, but save room for the homemade donuts!

The food was good but overpriced and nothing to write home about. I enjoyed our server and the restaurant itself but wouldn’t go back for those two qualities.

Best feature: service. Everyone we interacted with was efficient and treated us with utmost friendliness. Everything we ordered was uniquely delicious, including the cocktails. My only pet peeve is the open kitchen, which left a grease smell on my clothes. Small price to pay for the unforgettable dining experience.

The most reliably great Greek/Mediterranean spot in downtown Seattle. And they know it. Can't beat the freshness of the various spreads/dips and the combination options for the kebabs make for choices both at lunch and dinner.

Another wonderful meal at Lola. Great food, a kind and knowledgeable server.

Unfortunately, we were sitting under an extremely bright spotlight for most of our meal, unlike surrounding tables (we looked). Once the lights were dimmed later in the evening, it was much nicer.
And the volume of the crowd was A LOT. But that’s not a fault of Lola. Folks were having a good time!

Saganaki to start. Hanger steak, squid kebab and spanakorizo, with a side of tzatziki for entrees. Everything was delicious, but Squid Kebab was Fantastic - squid was tender, sauce was herbaceous and so flavorful. Unfortunately, no room for dessert!

Good cafe atmosphere with friendly service and good quality food.
Parking is a challenge as with most restaurants in the downtown.
Still a little unhappy with the 20% mandatory service fee that infects Seattle establishments.
Bring Lola to the Eastside.

The restaurant has a long wait, even with table reservations, so don’t expect to be seated early. The waiting area is a hotel lobby connected through the bar area. The busy dinning area has an always moving environment. The noise level was consistently high, requiring you to speak loudly even at a max person-to-person distance of 2 - 3 feet. Waitstaff is quick to take your order. The food was incredible, all the way down to a basic latte and coffee. The menu for the morning through early afternoon was well aggregated, and had inclusive options to support a range of dinners food interests. The bill is pricy as I expected from reading other reviews. Parking was easy with options from: street metered parking paid through kiosk or smartphone application; and a nearby parking garages. I had a great customer experience.

Lola entices you with the smell of its vibrant spices and the sizzling ouzo on the hot skillets. The flavors were very good on a few items (beets appetizer and mushroom kebab) and lacking in others (romanesco side). Absolute best donut I ever had! Would go back and just get mushroom kebab and fresh donuts (beignette style with vanilla bean marscapone). I sat in view of the entrance and there was a terrible draft.

Waitress was knowledgeable and really helped out with helping us and guiding us to a tasty dinner selection. The lamb melted like butter in your mouth and the chicken had crispy skin with juicy meat. However, the one thing that is going to bring me back are the spreads served with pita bread. They were a great starter and set the tone for the entire meal. Will be back!

Was a great experience from beginning to end. The hostess was so accommodating and had great suggestions. I was early for my reservation and offered me a drink and to hang out by the fire place and she would come and get me when my table was ready. And my waitress was exceptional and had great suggestions. Would have her pick out my entire meal next time. Great experience.

Overpriced. Underwhelming. Our food wasn't bad but it was nothing to write home about. We got lunch. Kebabs and for dessert had the donuts. Those were the best of the meal. But it's not hard to make fried dough taste good! Very small portions! Be warned :) Also it seemed pretty snobby. The wait staff and other diners were a little too cool for school. We even found a few big pieces of broken glass under our table and not once did we hear an apology or did anyone try to clean it up other than the pieces we had picked up ourselves and put on the table. We had three kids under 8 with us so that seemed pretty dumb and sketchy of them to not try to clean the area!
