Food was good. Different but very tasty. Good service.
Great appetizers. Entrees quite good too (the chef is obviously talented). Relaxed, pleasant atmosphere. Good service.
One of my favorite places. I never be disappointed here.
Lola has become my favorite place. Always exceptional. Staff is top shelf. Chefs are amazing and accommodating. The tasting menu may be the best value buy in history. Save room for the halvah parfait. Trust me.
Best restaurant on the planet 🌎. Food. , decor , creative spirit Amazing creative that. Will not disappoint the most culinary demanding person. You can eat as light or rich as you desire.
Everything was terrific and wait staff personable and helpful!excellent
Never written a review before. One of the best meals I’ve had in years!
Good though for Gluten Free dining, you have to stay on top of them.
Lenny the Chef did a fabulous tasting menu for us!! It was a fabulous experience!
Complex, interesting, lush combinations of food that are combined with great cocktails. Don't miss the incredible restaurant Fig infused Vodka; don't miss the chef's special tasting meal for the table. This was easily my best meal in quite a long time. A gem in Great Neck with interesting and knowledgeable wait staff. They are gluten friendly as well.
Love this place. Tje food and service is excellent. The chef is a creative genius.
We have been to Lola over 100 times. It is, without exception, the best restaurant on Long Island.
Excellent food, friendly service. Good vegan options. Wish they’d have a vegan dessert.
Amazing tasting menu. The chef came out several times to check on us. Great atmosphere, warm friendly. The Cabernet was terrific. Nothing disappointed.
As usual, a wonderful meal. The chef’s tasting menu was amazing and the service was very good as well. Always love going to Lola’s!
Never disappointed at this local restaurant. from waitstaff to wine, dinner & dessert.
Love brunching at Lola.
Chicken and biscuits were amazing.
Corned beef hash and eggs was a delicious and creative twist on a classic!
Always great food and great service.
Absolutely one of the finest restaurants on Long island. Imagitive menu and delicious food, very high quality, start with the small plate appetizers, babaganous, tzitiki, cauliflower salad, Israeli salad, hummus with duck chorizo.
Than lamb kofta, tuna sashimi with wasabi root, fatoush salad, fried brussel sprout leaves, seared four gras, and halvah parfait and a wonderful bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon. Impeccable service from Marissa as always. Chef Lenny and his staff are pure genius.
Delicious innovative menu! Service is always great. Everyone is warm and welcoming. Excited that they are now working on improving their wine list.
Love having Marissa as our server. She is so nice and very attentive!
It’s absolutely amazingly authentic Mediterranean cuisine , They never disappoint. , I eat in 4 continents per month you can trust this recommendation.
Noisy on weekends, but worth it! The portions are large, and the food is terrific.
Best Lamb skewers and hummus I’ve ever had. The Branzino was great too. We weren’t fans of the Octopus.
Lola is located right on Middle Neck Roadway in the absolutely cosy walk friendly town of Great Neck. It's right in the heart of it all. It's easy to pass by so make sure you keep an eye out for the big glass window. It does blend in with lots of the little of their shoppes on the block. If it helps it's right by the movie theater.
The parking is on the street in front with lots or signs. So make sure you obey the signs and feed the meters if needed and you'll be fine.
The inside reminds you of a small city eatery for sure. With city spacing and layers out tables. But it quite romantic with fresh flowers and candles at the tables. The music I didn't understand though you couldn't hear it over all the loud talking. Plus, it didn't sound good when some of it once in awhile made its way past the loud noise.
The place itself upon walking in and certain times during the dining experience you got a sniff of a weird not so pleasant odor. I'm not sure if it was the type of food mostly seafood or maybe the way they cooked it. But let's just say that was the low point in the evening.
The food itself is wonderful and picture perfect. You for sure eat with your eyes at this place. When these plates arrive your visionary senses meet your taste senses before ever taking a bite.
When you do decide to take your first bite you won't be disappoint at all. The food taste utterly sublime, where you obtain the fish branzino or the tender hangar steak. You will indulge in utter bliss for your taste buds.
The servers are pretty friendly and a little bit funny/quirky. So you won't be disappointed in the service either.
Definitely, give this place a try but remember don't bring too many friends. It's mostly two tops with a few four tops and a couple six tops.
See you soon...
Food was excellent! Service was great. Waiter recommendations were awesome!
Flawless as usual. The staff is amazing. The food is healthy and different and delicious. Best restaurant on the North Shore of Long Island for sure.
We had a great time and everyone that works there is beyond sweet.
The variety and uniqueness of the food is wonderful
Excellent food, service, ambiance. One of the best restaurants in Great Neck!
Food was absolutely incredible. We did the tasting menu and from start to finish it was one of the best meals I’ve ever had. The depth of flavor and creativity in each blew us away. Can’t wait to go back!!
Excellent food. Each item had diff ingredients and matched to creatively balanced so food usually I don’t eat, tested so god. Five stars chef
My colleague and I went to Lola for dinner after a work meeting. We felt right at home in a relaxing and welcoming environment. The food was out of this world! Very unique cuisine, different from the regular fare that you often find at other Mediterranean restaurants. The foie was fresh and perfectly rendered, and the lamb had the perfect balance of spices and fat. Chef came out and told us about his fascinating travels and experience throughout Europe. Highly, highly recommended.
Never disappoints Always great food and service.
Lola went above and beyond, with Restaurant Week appetizers comprising nine different Mediterranean dishes, from falafel to hummus. One was more delicious than the next and they were so abundant that we could have skipped the main courses and gone straight to dessert. Our entrees — duck leg confit and a Thai red curry — were exceptional, as were the desserts (especially the halvah). This was one of the most delicious and innovative meals we have had in a long time. The $10 glasses of wine and the excellent service only added to the experience.
Food was DELICIOUS!!
Love love Lola
Never a disappointment. Every meal here is great. Love everything that Chef Lenny creates. Service is always wonderful.
This was our 2nd time at Lola’s
Not as good as 1st time
Lamb was tough and should have sent it back
Service was attentive and courteous
We dined here with friends and, as usual, the food and drinks were amazing, the service helpful and on point, and the atmosphere comfortable - we had a round table, which was perfect for the 6 of us. Most impressive was that one person in our party has a garlic allergy, and the chef, knowing this only through my reservation comments, prepared a special garlic-free meal for her. She was thrilled, the plates were delicious and we will definitely be back!! Thanks, Lola, for a stellar evening.
My husband and I went to Lola during restaurant week. It is a lovely restaurant. Our server , Marty , was excellent. The appetizers were all very good, Especially the homemade hummus. My husband enjoyed his duck but my petite filet was really very petite and too salty. The halva parfait was amazing but the salted caramel pudding not worth eating. We will definitely go back.
