Have not visited Lola since it left Tremont. My mistake.
Two of us went to experience Restaurant Week, we chose the carnivores menu.
The beef cheek pierogi was heaven on a plate. Truly, I cannot remember enjoying a food this much. My next visit, this will be my entree. The cruciferous salad was quite good. The hangar steak was tender and edible ( not a huge meat fan).
I love blue cheese and I like ice cream, the two together sound pretty bad. Wrong! Again, a delicious surprise.
Specialty cocktails pricy but good, server was attentive and friendly. Can’t wait to go back

Pros: Great food.
Cons: Noise level, tables are crowded too close together.

Great food and impressive selection of wines. They treat you well from the moment you walk in the door. We make a reservation here every time we fly into Cleveland.

All four of us had the special menu (beef cheek ravioli, salad, hanger steak with wonderful sauce, Lola fries, poached pear with blue cheese ice cream), with the nicely selected wine pairings. That certainly would have been a great meal, but we preceded the feast with the charcuterie—-which made it a REALLY great feast. Thanks for a wonderful evening!

Wife and I took a weekend away from kids and pets, stayed next door to 4th st (restaurant alley). We had the restaurant week menu with wine pairing. The beef cheek pierogi was decent, wife had the carrot cavatelli and it was extremely good, I had the cruciferous salad, also really good. We both had the hanger and the flourless chocolate cake. If I were forced to complain I would point out that I did not get a single pickled onion on my steak while my wife got plenty... she let me try hers and it's really not a complaint. Overall the food was great, wait staff perfect and you cant beat the price. We have been hitting the down town's of NE cities for awhile now, usually seeing some sites and having a tasting menu somewhere. Lola is right up their with the best of them and restaurant week better than halved the price.

First time at Lola's and had a great experience. Our server was well informed on the menu and the history of Lola and Michael Symon restaurants. Great food and portions were the right size. Definitely will be back!

Went to Lola with my husband for Valentine's Day. It was amazing!!! I am a notoriously picky eater and I ate every single thing. We got the beef cheek pierogies, rib-eye, and another steak (can't remember the name). Perfection! The sears on the steak were perfect, they were cooked exactly to our specifications (medium and medium-well) and the food came out super fast. The service was also on point. When my husband asked our waiter to recommend a wine he asked what he was going to order for a better taste pairing. The crowd was, of course, other couples as it was Valentine's day but still a great crowd. Varied ages and backgrounds. We have a new favorite restaurant and we have lived in L.A. and New York and Lola is the top dog for sure.

Wonderful Valentine’s Day dinner—delicious, romantic and relaxing. Staff was extremely accommodating in finding a way to adjust our reservation arrival time after we called when we were stuck in a horrid traffic jam behind an accident on the highway. We did not miss out on a romantic and delicious dinner because of Lola’s wonderful staff. It was a wonderful evening. Thank-you!

This was our third time at Lolas. Always great food and cocktails. Desserts are always a hit for my girl. Keep it up Micheal Symon!! You've inspired me to repicate a few dishes at home. Cleveland dip is one my family loves.

Glad i came to try it, but it was nothing amazing and not a staple in our go-tos. I guess being a Michael Simon restaurant I had higher expectations.. First, the salad is not your typical salad. More like a shaved broccoli salad. Wasn't a huge fan of that taste wise, but part of dining here is the experience so I ate some of it. It wasn't bad, but i wouldn't order it again. My fiance didn't even finish his first bite lol but my palate is a bit more sophisticated than his. My scallops were good! I enjoyed them. But again, nothing spectacular in comparison to anywhere else with scallops on the menu. My favorite part of the entire meal was the brussel sprouts! Those were so good. My boyfriends steak was good.

I’m from NJ and whenever I’m in Cleveland this is the only spot, where else would I eat?? My only complaint is that the last 2 times I came here they didn’t have pigs ears on the menu. Go and see how good this place really is.

Our experience at Lola was very good. We had two vegetarians with us and they loved their meals. The rest of us ordered steak, the pork chop and the lamb. All delicious. Our server was friendly and did a great job. Would definitely recommend.

Lola is a great place to dine. The food is great and well presented. The ambiance is nice and the staff is friendly. Also, it is located near many bars for after dinner drinks. Valet discount (8$) is also a bonus.

My wifes steak and my duck were SO salty that we could not even eat them. The young man who was bussing our table was the only one who was really paying attention to us. He was the one that caught on that we were not pleased with our meal. The manager came by for a second to tell us that she wanted our feedback. It is a shame what is happening to the dining scene. The good old days the real celebrities were the people actually cooking in the kitchen.

Let just start out that its a Michael Symon restaurant. Unique cuisine that is his signature. If you can, make a reservation to sit at the tasting table and watch the magic of culinary cuisine take shape. Poetry (or chaos) in motion. I had the scallops that were great. Cauliflower au gratin...yum. Tiffany was our server and she was truly a professional. To me, great service is just as import as great food

A bit underwhelmed by the service and the overall experience. Food was very good, but not quite at the level one might expect from a chef of this renown.
